My daughter will…read moretake her place on stage at her first ever elementary school variety show with seven other kindergarteners tomorrow, and thanks to Paula, I'm confident that the group will do amazing thanks to the choreography and preparation that was put into the act. We've had regular weekly practices at PCDA starting in early December, so that's almost 3 months... and Paula and her team brought their "A-game" to every single practice. They were patient with the kids and made each practice fun. They taught the kids some amazing moves... even the ones that will likely never be the star of the dance floor (ahem - that was me)! They were also communicative with the parents, which was much appreciated. The kids are also learning way more than just a dance... they are getting an incredible experience, gaining confidence, learning about smiling when on stage, keeping going if/when something goes wrong, and so much more. I am not sure that dance will be in my family's future with all of the sports we tend to get involved with, but if possible, I'd love to continue to work with PCDA in the future!

Our daughter is quite active (read: doesn't like to sit still) and also had a speech delay. They have been so amazing working with her. Her speech has come SO far and I often forget she is behind because she has learned to communicate so well! I love that they have a plan in place for each child that gets re-evaluated every so often to make sure the child is making progress in any areas you feel they need more help. At one point during a parent/teacher, I mentioned that she was still struggling a lot with her numbers. She came home within the next two weeks with significant improvement. This isn't a glorified daycare. Everything they do is based in learning, yet they keep it fun and play-based! And if all that wasn't enough to convince you this place is top-notch... I can't even begin to tell you how much they love the kids. They are patient, kind, and consistent. Any time we walked in (before Covid changed drop off policy), they would always say "Zoeeeeee!!!!!" upon our entrance, excited to see my daughter. And lastly, they will assist in potty training and are SO excited for your little ones as they make big changes!

The new Arcadia studio is SPECTACULAR!! So clean, so bright and a variation of class times/options. They are offering a free week until the end of Sept. 2022 so take advantage while you can. Be sure to bring your own mat, yoga towel, water bottle and hand towel if you like to have one for your face during class. Otherwise you will have to purchase each of the above, as they don't do rentals.

Recently visited and attended a 90 minute hot yoga session - which if you've never done a heated…read moreclass before is not recommended! The layout of the class and the instructor were great. The heat of the classroom was the hottest I've experienced, and I've attended a handful of classes around the valley. This studio had the classroom set to 110 degrees, with a closed door and full class so the temperature easily feels closer to 115. If you're new to heated classes, I would work your way up to this class/studio. They do offer great pricing for class packs if you're interested in trialing it out for two weeks. If you're sensitive to heat/scent, I wouldn't recommend a heated class as you DO sweat heavily as well as all other participants. Meaning - you WILL smell other people and their sweat. The studio offers lockers and cubbies to hold your items and also has a well kept bathroom with showers to rinse off after class.
