I'd rate negative stars if possible. I met with Aaron about a month ago to have my books & taxes done. I was told after the meeting I need to get Aaron's bookkeeper, Cami, onto my QuickBooks. I got Cami setup, and that was unfortunately the last I heard from anyone from Arizona State Accounting. After reaching out multiple times via email and phone calls, to which none were answered, I called the office and asked the receptionist what was going on. She put me on hold and never returned the call. Here I am on tax day with nothing prepared and no clue as to why Arizona State Accounting is ghosting me. This is certainly the least professional business encounter I've ever had, so I would beware. read more

We were extremely excited after seeing great reviews and recommendations about this place. Unfortunately Steven didn't provide great customer service or respect. This happened more than once occasion during the appointment. I talked to the manager she apologized and was kind and understood what happened. I had an appointment set up this morning at 9:00 AM with Steven. It was very hard to find the building since the address on the building didn't match their address. I called from what I think is the correct parking lot to confirm I'm in the right place. I called and called from 10 minutes prior to my appointment until 20 minutes after my appointment with no answer. I didn't really trust the girl who set my appointment as she seems to be very new to answering phones and speaking properly. Maybe she didn't set the appointment? I won't be going back. I had a long-standing appointment at 12 noon today. I called in at 9:30 AM to verify my 12 o'clock appointment with Aaron. I arrived and signed in at 11:40. At 1 o'clock thoroughly disgusted, I left. My wife's friend had used this company and had great experiences. So we tried them out - had previously used H&R Block. This is now the second year that AZ State Accounting has worked with us - Aaron and Daniel - both of them - have been EXCELLENT with us. Their fees are VERY reasonable and these guys really know what they're doing. Aaron has taken lots of time to explain things to us, run things in a different way to check for savings, etc. The company is a very non-assuming place and has a very welcoming vibe. Even got me back in last minute when I realised I screwed up some numbers (my fault, not theirs in any way) As long as we live in this state we aren't going anywhere else. Thanks guys!! read more

Negative stars if possible. We hired Aaron to do our taxes. This is our first time with doing our taxes as a new business so we have a lot of questions. We told him that we're looking for someone with good communication. Well it has been nothing but the opposite. We left his office a little unsure but hopeful that things would get done. Tax Day comes and we haven't heard anything from him. We reach out to him via email and he responds telling us he needs more information from us and that he filed an extension without telling us. We were never informed of this until WE reached out to him. The information he was asking for were things we already gave him, so we assume he may have lost them or misplaced them. We have questions, so we would like to speak to him over the phone. He doesn't ever get back to us. Our current situation is that we still have not received a call or email from him, our taxes are not done, our questions are not answered and I would not recommend this company to anyone because it's been nothing but a headache and full of stress as a new business. Len is the MAN. Frankly, I'm a little ashamed to admit I was a TurboTax guy for years. Wasn't exactly sold on paying someone to do something I can easily do myself. It's just punching in numbers from your W-2 and a few other forms, right? WRONG. My fiancé Kendra insisted I go see Len with her this year and let's just say...I'm officially a convert. My TurboTax days are well behind me. We will go see Len every tax season from here on out. He's extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and truly cares about his clients. We have done business with Aaron the owner for 6 years. Each year has been difficult in trying to get him to communicate what is needed for filing. This year the absolute worse. Tried to contact him 4 times in the last 3 weeks and only one call back which I missed. I tried to call him back but of course no answer. Would have went with a different accountant many years ago but changing didn't seem worth the effort.
