I contacted the owner who arranged a time for us to meet so that she could see the piece to understand our repair needs. We came to her place of business where she quickly assessed the best way to repair the canopy so that it would function for at least another demo season. She proceeded to competently stitch the canopy and we were on our way 20 minutes later. Most people would be intimidated by a 53' canopy, but Tatiana didn't even bat an eyelash. This comment was met with little more than a shrug. It's pretty sad that companies like Bill's Awnings steal money from, and take advantage of, old people--even after they're dead! They have no intention of actually doing the job. If you're considering giving this company a down payment, I would think twice. They're probably just using your down payment to meet their payroll. I wonder how many other people have had their down payment stolen from them. More importantly, I wonder how these people live with themselves.
