Glenn was one of few companies/handymen willing to take the job and gave a reasonable quote very quickly. He is very friendly, knowledgeable, reliable, and CAPABLE! He rebuilt the master bathroom which was damaged badly, fixed patio roof, re-tiled kitchen floor, painted interior and exterior, and fixed numerous other things to make a a great home for the next tenant. He gave us peace of mind while we are not around (we live in another state). Even our realtor said he is the best among all the handymen/general contractors she knew, after she saw how well he works on the home.

This is a long review and if you don't want to read everything below, just know that these are…read moreuntrustworthy people plain and simple. If you need a custom home built then you would be in better hands elsewhere. I could not recommend them less. ----‐---------------- We started this process on good footing, we spent time getting to know their team, talking through the project and setting expectations. We read their positive reviews and they put on a good face. But soon after construction started we realized that this team is completely out of their depth. As a whole they are destructively uncommunicative and are outright deceitful, Cesar their GC, and Katherine one of the business owners, particularly so. When problems were encountered, instead of working through solutions together, their strategy was to stall for as long as possible and to ignore our attempts to keep the project moving forward. Their behavior cost us months of delays which resulted in thousands of dollars lost, needless worry and lasting issues with our home and property. If you decide to move forward with this team, please keep record of every interaction, be extremely specific in your contract, and keep your attorney on hand. After our move in, and after clear explicit instructions from me on numerous occasions, business owner Katherine illegally and covertly recorded the exterior and interior of our property on multiple occasions, including video recording me inside of my home while I was unaware. Katherine and the rest of the team do not care about legality, your privacy, or the basic respect of their clients. During the build they tried their best to get more money out of us while delivering substandard work. The only way we were able to move into the home after many months past our projected move in date and many weeks spent in extended stays was by going around them to schedule our final inspection with the county, by communicating with our title company & lender, by filing complaints with the BBB and ROC. Stay on top of your project. If you are providing custom architectural plans, please know that the time, money and planning that went into your build documents mean nothing to them, they will do as they please without your intervention. Consent is not a word in their vocabulary. They changed our home and design, damaged our newly installed materials and appliances, illegally dumped their waste on our property & refused to properly clean up, refused to do work explicitly outlined in our contract, and attempted to cut corners at every turn. They're unwilling to learn, improve or accept responsibility. Through my interactions with this team I have come to learn what the term "gaslighting" means. They continued to smile in my face, offering pleasantries and small talk, expecting me to quickly move past their damaging behavior while their actions and words remained persistently harmful. Save yourself the trouble.

Youssef and all of his subs are *FANTASTIC* and the best I have ever worked with (and I've worked…read morewith many). Here why (with details below): He OWNS the work and takes full responsibility for everything and fixes every mishap BEFORE you even ask; His primary subs (carpentry, electrical, flooring, trim) are all GREAT; he's one of the easiest, kindest, and most compassionate people I've worked with; and he knew when to tell me when an idea or suggestion I had was infeasible or too expensive. More deets: On OWNERSHIP and RESPONSIBILITY - Our shower glass walls were a little short. I didn't even know enough to know this was a solvable problem, but he made the third-party glass company take the segments back and replace them with segments that fit even more perfectly and beautifully. There we a couple of other instance and there was never accountability squirm.... Honestly that's unlike 95% of contractors. ADVICE - If the lighting wasn't going to work or look nice, he told you. If the switches we're in the wrong place in the blueprint, he told you. If a door or opening would have been better served with a pocket door instead of a swinging door, like into a bedroom closet, he told you. He told you nicely, politely, never insinuating that I did not know what I was doing or that the architect was bad or wrong. He'd just politely and slowly walk me through a few different scenarios and the real life placement of things and was 100% right in all of his corrective suggestions. The one time I did not listen to him and thought I knew better, after a few months I realized I was completely wrong. MAIN SUBS - Whenever his subs were scheduled to show up, they did, on time, always clean-cut and professional, smiling, and happy. They cleaned up EVERY DAY. Other previous contractors thought nothing of leaving trash on the floor or even dangerous nails when I had small children in the house. I think he is one of, if not, the BEST IN THE BUSINESS and I plan on doing more with him in the future.

Unfortunately, they were incredibly careless and simply washed all of the concrete from that home, causing it to drain down in front of our home and three other neighbors. We were extremely upset by this and tried to reach out to the contractor to address the situation, but they never responded to our calls. We're now considering filing a complaint and taking legal action against them. Overall, we would not recommend this contractor to anyone. Update: After posting this review and sending a screen shot to him/then, a gentleman from the company called me and told me it is not against the law to do what he did. As I was trying to I ask him if he was going to pay for the cleanup, he said I am a very bad person and hung up the phone. I then wrote them another text message as follows: I called your numbers for 2 days. No one returned my calls. If you pay the expenses of the cleanup for the mess that you left and caused, I am happy to remove the reviews. Cleanup cost is $480. They did not reply.

Mario & Allison personally came and did the final measuring. So many wonderful and professional installers to mention: Pedro, Josè, Francisco, Noro. Sorry if I am leaving anyone out. All of you did fantastic work! Electrical, lighting, cabinetry, granite, tile. And thank you for expertly installing the handles we found for no extra charge! Who else does that?! We had two other quotes from other companies, and they were outrageously expensive, to say the least; made us feel like they thought we were naive or maybe just didn't really want to do the project because it was too small. But, we didn't choose M&P just because of their lower quote: we chose M&P because of the personal service and professionalism that was obvious from the beginning. We could not be happier with the end result and the outstanding value we received. We will absolutely call on Mario & Allison and their Family of Professionals at M&P Construction for our next project.
