We worked with them on regrading a portion of our yard and building a retaining wall with a built-in planted. Esteban was able to come over for an estimate within a few days, took measurements and pictures, and then got back to me with a design idea that he drew along with the details of what stones would be used. The quote was on par with other quotes we had received. They got us on the schedule within a couple of days and they finished the project as well as a complete yard clean-up within a week. I saw on Yelp that they were reading/reviewing the request when I sent it, multiple days before. Did they respond? No. I followed up with some irritation that despite being recommended, they are doing nothing. What irks me is that they say they will respond 100% of the time - which clearly isn't the case. Why would anyone want to do business with them, when they have zero desire to return any message at all? Normally I avoid these types of postings - with just complaining without seeing results - but folks need to be aware of this supposedly "service."

We had a large patch of artificial turf installed with a concrete paver boarder, and several stepping stones leading to patio and back gate. They also installed an irrigation line all the way around the perimeter of the yard (roughly 50' x 40' square) so we can plant trees along the outside wall. The project was affordable considering the size of our yard, and the end result is great. My kids now have a wonderful place to play right outside the sliding door. I couldn't recommend Sunset Sky strongly enough.

I hired Sunset Sky about 5 years ago. I have been having to rework at least half the things they…read moredid. I had them install pavers for a walk way, that I stated was very important to set a slope for drainage. Well, the last rain storm I noticed the water was backing up instead of running away from the house. It washed the dirt away from a fountain basin they installed, and the next morning, it was leaning side ways. So I had to remove it, and there was no support in the center, so now I found out why the basin was bowing in the center. (Pic of Basin Lifted on one end) And this was after I pushed it down 4 or 5 inches until it wouldnt go down any futher. Which is why I had to remover the Basin An electrical outlet was loose on the wall to power the Fountain Pump. There was a 4 inch wooden dowels shoved into 3/4" holes, pushed into the wall, past thru the vapor barrier. And the electrical box had a wood screw in the dowel to hold it agaisnt the house, which it wasnt doing any longer. And with NO sealer. A big NO-NO. Another Amatuer mistake they made, they installed the water to the fountain from a outside spigot. They cut the copper pipe off and had a sharkbite, so close to the house stucco, it was almost impossible to remove, and then solder a coupling to it was also almost inpossible. "AND", they had a steel galvanized TEE fitting, connected to copper pipe. ANOTHER BIG NO-NO. This causes "galvanic corrosion", and will eventally eat away at the copper pipe running into the house. When they where cutting pavers (dry), they did not cover 2 brand new outdoor barbecue grills that cost $5k. Or the fountain basin. All three was coated deep with paver dust inside. I could go one with more things that was not professional done. I wasnt living here full time, and was unable to see their work. Now its coming back to bite me. Part of me says I should have them come back and fix the things. But I have no trust in their skills now. Very frustrated at the quality for $45k of work.
