I'm not the type to say anything but I asked for a basic French tip and the pink part was completely transparent, I could see the dirt under my nail. I brought my daughter in for an eyebrow wax with Daisy at the Metuchen Center and it was bad from the start. From the moment she opened the door, Daisy exhibited an extremely rude and unfriendly attitude. When she was waxing my daughter, she made no attempt at pleasant conversation and completely ignored my daughter when my daughter specified how she wanted her eyebrows done. It was a very uncomfortable situation, and when I complained directly to Daisy mid-wax, telling her we were going to leave, she was extremely unapologetic. When Daisy was waxing my daughter, her actual skill was poor, waxing in a very unprofessional and honestly bad way. My daughter is 15 and has been waxing for years, and only with Daisy did she feel pain, and Daisy blamed it on HER, asking her if she didn't go often! Nerve! Daisy did an awful job, with my daughter's eyebrows coming out uneven - but we were too nervous to ask Daisy to touch them up! Daisy treated my young daughter terribly and had a very bad attitude. At the end of the wax, Daisy didn't even clean my daughter up, leaving little droplets of blood on her face. We are very disappointed with our experience and feel that we were treated wrong!

I call the number for the office and it gets routed to a different office that tells me they have no idea why no one called to re-schedule or cancel the appointment. I travelled from out of state for this visit and it was a complete waste of my time. The other office said they would leave a message for the office manager- I also sent them a message through the app, and it has been 3 weeks and never heard back- maybe they are no longer in business- but to go to an appointment and to see the office completely shut down like that with no advanced notice (and even getting the advanced check-in email) it makes me wonder maybe they went out of business or they need someone new as their business manager.

My manicure and pedicure were flawless and the nail tech was very sweet and friendly. My wax was pretty painful but maybe because I hadn't had one since the Summer and forgot how bad and awkward they can be. However, the lady offered to give me a complimentary touch up a week after, which I thought was nice. Clients were coming in back to back for waxing in the couple of hours that I was there, so this must be the place to go! They also have a location in S River which is much closer to where I live, so I wouldn't mind trying them out the next time I muster up enough courage to get another wax!
