I've stayed at this hotel twice now as I went back the second time as loved it so much the first time around! We usually stay in Montmartre when we visit Paris but fancied checking out a more central/different area recently and found a deal for this hotel on Secret Escapes. Ok, so the area isn't a culture hub like Montmartre...no quirky bars here but what you do get is peace and quiet, traditional bars/bistros, good food and in walking distance of a couple of beautiful parks. The rooms are comfy and some have cute balconies which I recommend getting. There's a DVD player and TV in the room in case you are not out and about exploring Paris and a fairly basic but good breakfast in the mornings of breads, cheese, meats, boiled eggs, juices etc. The lobby area looks like a very cute library in someone's house and the staff are friendly and extremely helpful. I look forward to staying here again very soon! read more
