We had a cash offer to close in a week and needed to address a few issues prior to closing. I reached out to Marvis on a short notice and he was able to accommodate all the fix and installation needed to sell the property. He installed for us a new furnace and also addressed multiple pipe leaks for us. His plumber actually missed a few leaks but what I really appreciate from Marvis was he took responsibility for this and sent the plumber out to address this without additional charges. After several estimates on the cost, we chose Kret Kitchen and Bath, on Eureka off of Fort St in Wyandotte. We were very impressed with their showroom and just walking into it gave me great inspiration and choices that helped me put it all together. We live in a two story Colonial which is decorated in the country theme. I wanted that same look as well for the new bathroom. Mike was a great help in making suggestions and bringing ideas to my attention. A pleasant surprise to me as I can surely be a normal female who thinks she has done all her homework on decorating! Mike was outstanding in his communication on the progress being done, any wait time on the choices we made, or just a simple check in to see how we were liking the choices we made, from the very beginning, right to the end of the job, we really appreciated that Mike! The area around the bathroom was prepped with a plastic wall to keep the dust from seeping into the bedrooms, plastic on the stairs and our front entrance foyer, was covered for protection with the outmost respect for our home. The crew lead by James and included Steve, Lyle and many other workers whose names I don't recall. These guys were just the best, polite, cheerful, always answered our questions with great knowledge, always on time, and if they were going to be late never failed to call us. All the choices I selected turned out to be winners and we couldn't be happier!! We highly recommend Kret, they are the real deal, the workers are a real asset, their products are excellent quality. It was an overall pleasant experience, except for the communication with the salesman promoting the company. Once we signed the contract, he never followed through on anything. We were impressed, however, with the promptness, speed and precision of the service crew that did the installation of our new roof. They did a great job, as did the owner of the company who immediately addressed our concerns. I recently contacted Hector, the owner of Jimmy Roofing and asked for a big on reroofing a duplex in Northville and a roof repair on a 5-unit building I own next door to the duplex. Hector connected me with his son Keven. who came out and inspected the two jobs. He emailed me the bids and we proceeded from there. I was totally pleased during on my second experience with Jimmy Roofing and can't say enough about the communication between the company and myself. The service people who did the jobs as contracted arrived on time, worked efficiently and did everything as promised to my total satisfaction. I have other properties and jobs that I will be contracting with Jimmy Roofing in the future as I have been impressed with their fair pricing and wonderful work ethic.

I have used several contractors in my many years and in several States that I have lived; Jay is undoubtedly the best contractor I have used for any project. I got several quotes for my job and Comet was significantly less expensive, but the quality of Jay's work was exceptional. I would highly recommend Jay; he is a contractor that is not in a rush to just get the job done and hurry to the next job.
