The store's hours are reduced due to the pandemic. This was my first time visiting a Maurices store and I was the first customer in the store today. The lady working here greeted me as soon as I walked in. She was friendly and helpful answering my questions about the store. The store was neat and well stocked with merchandise. Everything was nicely displayed. However, after I had spent about 15 minutes browsing the entire store, I could tell that their styles just weren't suited to my taste. My overall impression of the store is that they cater to women who favor a matronly style. If this is your choice of style then Maurices is a great store to check out.

This usually leaves my options pretty slim since I usually shop at discount stores. Today I didn't see any New Balance or Asics that caught my eye. I would have gotten a pair of those new Sketchers "step in" shoes, but I didn't see any on display. Guess I will need to search harder....or open my wallet up a little wider lol

In a loud, rude and sarcastic manner. I apologized to her for not hearing her, and of course she ignored that. What rude behavior not only to myself but to the customers who she was checking out at the check stand. I won't be back. Managers: maybe give your workers more training in customer service and stop training them to shout down everyone who walks in and out of the store.
