If you want current, of-the-moment fashionable clothing and don't want to spend the big bucks, H&M is where to shop. The quality is not the best, but I'm ok with that as typically there is a "look" I'm seeking and I know I'll only be wearing the item for one or two seasons. For example, super wide flowy pants or sweaters with a bell sleeve. Prices are very affordable but are even better when items go on sale. And they always go on sale! I've picked up chunky sweaters to wear with leggings for $10. Tanks and t-shirts for under $5. In my book, that's basically free since I pay that much for a Mocha! This store is clean and neat, something that can't be said for all locations. Unless you are there when the store is packed with teens. Yes, this store is geared to teenagers but there are definitely wardrobe staples and on trend items for people of every age. The dressing room situation isn't the best, in non Covid times there is often a long wait. I usually try on clothes right in the aisle! They have fun accessories - scarves, hair scrunches, inexpensive handbags - so make sure to peruse this section. H & M sells clothing under their own label for women, men and kids. The store sells "fast fashion" which means current up to date styles. They carry trendy fashion pieces, wardrobe essentials and unique designer collaborations. In addition to clothing, they carry some accessory items. The quality of merchandise is good and the prices are very reasonable. The store has a very pleasant atmosphere with good lighting and nice merchandise displays. The store is well stocked and neat. It is very pleasant shopping here. The employees at check out are friendly. When visiting the fitting rooms it is common courtesy for customers to hang the clothes back on the hangers. You should never expect the attendant to do this for you unless you have no manners. While the regular prices at H & M are very reasonable, their sale prices are unbelievable. On my most recent visit I found ladies tops priced at 2-4 dollars! It's easy to see why H & M has been in business for so long. I enjoy shopping here and recommend the store. read more

We came here tonight and what a great experience. I had a horrible experience in Seattle ( UW Village) where the employee did not allow me to help my daughter ( we are people of color) help her in the dressing room but allowed the mother and daughter behind me enter( non- people of color.) When we all came here tonight I was allowed to help my daughter because she is still young. I bought clothes, my daughter bought more clothes even my husband. I bought a pair of pants a few weeks ago and when I got home, I realized that they were sold to me with a hole in the crotch. My family member accidentally threw out the receipt so I go into the store today to see if they will still accept the return without the receipt. The lady at the front told me that they can't refund me without the receipt but I can exchange them for something else of the same price. I was okay with that! I spend the next 40 minutes shopping around the store for a price match and I finally found some clothes I liked. I then walk out of the fitting room and two of the women who work there are talking about me and point to me. A different lady from the beginning proceeds to follow me and asks if she can see the pants. She looks at the pants and tells me "well... we can't accept these because they are damaged." I told her that they were sold to me that way but she did not care and proceeded to tell me that even if they were, it would have been final sale because they are damaged. Not only did I waste almost an hour because of what a different employee told me, but you'd think they would accept their mistake and let me exchange clothes given that the people who make their clothes are children and get paid a cent a day. Extremely disappointing and a prime example of why I never support fast fashion unless I am in a pinch. read more

They told me to try 7 things at a time and they would hold the rest of my stuff. I came back to switch out the clothes, and some other employee put it all back. Literally wasted an hour of my time. The employee told me to go and find all the items again and bring it back?? Wtf?? I am never shopping here again, the management should really learn how to run a business, and teach their employees to find solution to problems that they created for the customers. read more

If I could give this Store 0 stars I would but there is no option for that! I went shopping for an upcoming trip, the store closed at 8pm and I went into the fitting rooms at 7:20pm, I was told by an employee that they were closing the fitting rooms soon, and I didn't think much of it since I wasn't planning to go out to get more clothes to try, I was told I could only bring in with me 7 items and hang the rest on the rack since I clearly had more than 7, when I went to get the rest of the clothes to try I was told I couldn't try the rest, the employee that was at the fitting room felt very bad and embarrassed for having to tell me that and said they were closing the fitting rooms early because they had to clean since corporate was coming in next morning, keep in mind by this time it was about 7:35pm and the store closed at 8pm, when I went up to the cashier I asked if I could speak to the manager and explained why, by the time the manager came to the front desk, she didn't even make eye contact with me but rather looked at the cashier and asked what was wrong, when the cashier explained the manager Olivia said there is no telephone number for corporate but here is the number for costumer service and threw the receipt at me, turned around and walked away. I could tell the cashier felt very embarrassed by the managers reaction and apologize, but in reality it should've been the manager who should've apologize. I won't be going there again, and I am pretty sure corporate would be more interested in knowing their costumers are being treated good then a clean store, they probably should be training there staff better too. read more

I'm always impressed by the service and cleanliness of this H & M. Came in the other day for a sweater I saw online. It was easy to locate and I was able to use a coupon given to me at the store. This location is always much cleaner than others. Usually I enter an H & M expecting the jeans to be a mess or there to be piles of clearance clothing on the floor. Not here! Good selection and not generally crowded. They also are participating in a company-wide clothing drive where you can bring a bag of unwanted clothes and receive 15% off an item of your choice. read more

I had the best experience in this store today. I was on an emergency run for a dress for pictures tomorrow after not receiving one I ordered in time. I was frazzled, short for time and had been in 4 other stores finding nothing that matched this specific scheme being followed. I was giving up here too until a woman named Kari walked up (auspicious already- same name! lol) and asked if she could help me, I initially told her no but she gently won me over a few minutes later and thankfully so because I gave her quick rundown of my dilemma and she had me in a dress, fitted, approved and at the cashier within 10 minutes. Just popped in here for a few minutes to purchase a gift card. I'm wanting to go back and look around as there seemed to be a nice selection of clothing and the prices are really reasonable. When asked if this was something new they had started as I had never faced this before, I was told this was done to keep the line moving. Well, this place is kind of hit or miss... I get some clothes for my kids here and they're usually a good deal. As far as clothes for myself, I think I'll pass. Most of them are tuned for the teenage crowd, and there's little for someone who doesn't have a man bun and wears skinny jeans. Great job on the little kid's clothes though! read more

I bought my kid a package of underwear YESTERDAY. Came in today because I got the wrong size. I was told that they cannot return or exchange underwear, period, the end. Somebody "should have told me" when I bought it that it can never be returned, even though it was clearly unopened or unused, and bought YESTERDAY. This rule is not printed on the receipt anywhere. They lost a customer for life today, it's a shame they can't use their brains and make an exception. read more

Would give zero if it was possible. Went in for first time on a Wednesday and was impressed with prices and clothes. Bought my kids a couple things and myself a couple sweaters. However their staff is unbelievable. They followed me around as is I was going to steal something assuming because I'm extremely thin and such from chemo so prob look like a druggie! So they literally stayed within 30ft of me the entire time rolling their eyes whenever I looked at stuff. Very uncomfortable!! Anyways, the sweaters I bought didn't fit right or look as good as I thought they would so I came back that Friday two days later. The clerk was a total bitch from the start. She asked for my receipt and I started looking in my purse for it and then she said oh you took the tags off I said no actually the clerk when I bought it brole them off I've got them right here. So then huffs and puffs and says no I can't except these because you smoke cigarettes and you smell of smoke so I'm sure these were around smoke (which I had just put a cig out outside but don't smoke inside or in car I've got children) I said um are you serious she said yes I said can I speak to a manager she then says I am the manager. I said everyone's got a boss so can I speak to yours!! She then writes down an 800 number I was astonished I said please put your name on there also (no name tag) so I can make sure that they know who sucks at their job. She said oh good luck they won't do anything to me go enjoy dying from your gross cigarettes!!! I've only been to a few H&Ms but this one seems to be a bit larger than the others. They have very well marked sections and a clutter free environment, so it seems like you'd be able find whatever your looking for quite easily. The staff is friendly and the moderately priced clothing seems to be of decent quality, so this is not a bad place to shop by any means. I don't know if this is a new development in all H&Ms but this particular shop sells cosmetics and the self branded selection is not half bad either. I don't really use make up myself but I spend enough time around it to appreciate variety and quality. By itself this location would be a solid 3 stars, but considering it livens up an otherwise dull shopping center, I'm going to bump it up one more. read more

This review is in particular for this location after visiting the Washington Square and Lloyd center locations. This location is nice-bright, good music, great energy and most important GREAT deals. Employees at this location are much peppy and courteous than the other two locations. The store is always clean and organized well and almost every time I ve shopped here, was approached by an associate greeting and/or letting me know about the awesome deals the store has. Overall my fav H&M location along with the Pioneer place location. read more

Stopped by on a Sunday morning to exchange two pairs of pants purchased the day before from Washington Square store that were the wrong size. Bad sign #1: they were suppose to open at 11am but kept the doors locked until 11:10 while a crowd formed outside in the cold. Bad sign #2: found a pair of the same pants on rack but still wrong size so went to counter to just return them. Manager "helped" me and proceeded go into a lecture about how they don't take returns for items not carried at their store (despite finding one on the rack there) and will make this one time exception. Kind of a chaotic store, although that may have been my internal reaction to the 2 dozen teenagers milling around (all of them talking or texting on their phones while shopping, so definitely not watching where they were walking).
