Ridiculous!! Mr David Ross wanted the company to deliver to a different address even though he has not provided any credible evidence that he is a genuine owner of the card he used to create the order. As a business we frequently get orders from scammers in possession of valid credit card details. Please observe the response our managing director sent to Mr Ross which he failed to respond to. Unfortunately; we do not go as far as checking things like MPRN meter point number on gas/electric bills and IBHAN numbers on bank statement We believe Mr Ross's transaction would have been rejected by any company employing basic security measures on card orders. I've been buying from Aria now for years, and if I've ever had a problem it's always been resolved quickly with out any hassle. A few days ago I placed an order for a MSI P67A GD 65 motherboard which comes with a Coolermaster hiper 212+ CPU cooler for FREE. Now if you look at that its a great bargain, the cooler is one of the best you can get in the £20 range, I also purchased a Intel Core I5 2500K, both items were the cheapest at Aria compared to their competitors. The Order process was excellent, I phoned up around 1pm and within 30 seconds sales picked up the phone, It took about 5minutes to place the order. Within 50minutes I received a dispatch email, I was kind of shocked to receive that so quickly. The order arrived next day on time and in excellent condition. As I'm a active forum member I got free delivery on that order, it would normally cost around £9, that's a nice saving. Free delivery isn't the only benefit of being a active forum member, on Wednesday's/Fridays Aria have a 500+/1000+(respectively) a Loyal members deals, so on Wednesday if you have a total of 500 posts or more you can enter and have a chance to get the product on offer, same goes for Friday's deals, I myself have saved quite a bit because of these loyal members deals. The card arrived next day in excellent condition and very well protected. I used to consider Aria to be a good stockists for computer goods and have directed friends and family members to them in the past. My most recent experience however has me regretting this decision. Their prices might be good, cheaper than other retailers and you might even be able to get free shipping, but when things go wrong it is a fight to get any response from Aria. I bought a graphics card from them for £365 in October 2011, by October 2012, I had noticed a the cooler fan bearing making a rattling sound. So I thought it would be a simple case of an RMA to Aria and I'll get a replacement. Unfortunately, I was very wrong. My initial call ended with me being directed to the manufacturer as Aria said they would sort me out. I contact the manufacturer and they tell me Aria should be dealing with the issue. So back I went to Aria and they agreed they would handle the RMA. I send my card to Aria in the first week of November 2012 for an RMA which should take up to 28 working days. There was no indication from Aria they had received the card or tested the card, and what followed was four weeks of constant chasing to see if the card had been received, tested and sent to the manufacturer. On the 14th of December 2012, I was sent an email telling me my card had been replaced but the replacement card was damaged and so I was offered an alternative product. A product which wasn't a like for like replacement, one that was of lesser quality. I declined this offer and asked about a refund, even a partial one to indicate usage of the card during the year I had it all this despite the fact that the manufacturer offers a 3 year warranty! They initially offered me store credit, but I told them that I didn't want store credit, I explained they should offer a refund in the form by which I originally paid for the product, and I explained how after 5 weeks of chasing them with regards to the status of my RMA, I was fed up, and just wanted to end things as cleanly as possible so I can get on with buying a replacement part. They had agreed on the 17th of December to offer me a refund to my card and it would be with me in 3-5 working days. As of the 4th of January 2013, I am still without my refund. I've had numerous additional calls to the team, and each time it is a long ordeal of waiting on hold while the issue is checked between colleagues, who are trying to find out what is going on. Each time I am promised call backs which are never received and in general it is a fight each and every time followed by broken promise after broken promise. I am currently 8 weeks into this RMA, they were very efficient at taking my £365, and I am left with no card and all forms of communication with Aria end with a promise which is never delivered upon. They are in clear breach of their contract, they have admitted themselves the card itself was faulty and now when it comes to getting my money back, their lack of customer care is showing. I've come to realise why the company can have such cheap prices. I would never buy from this trader again and I hope anyone who reads this thinks things through very carefully! read more

Well after my last review of Aria I have once again experienced exceptional service. I purchased a number of different items such as two 140mm case fans, a Ethernet hub/splitter and some Cat5 cable. I placed the order at 11am and by 12.30pm I had received the dispatch notification email telling me of my items despatch. 9.30am the next morning my items had been delivered. As with all of my Aria bought products, these came well packaged, in this case they came in a regular brown box packed to the brim with bubble wrap and air pocket pads. The individual items were then wrapped in two layers of bubble wrap which when packed in with the other protection; there was no way that they were going to get damaged. This was not my only delivery from Aria this week either, I also had the great pleasure and surprise to find I had won a set of Corsair dominator triple channel RAM which god only knows the price of. This again was delivered well packaged and bubble wrap covered. Over the past few weeks I have seen Aria begin to evolve. The options available on their online store just keep on coming, with tens of new products being stocked each week. Aria now stock more brands than ever before, and the variety on offer is top notch. The best part about Aria though is their willingness to get you what you want, by simply requesting on their online forum where the user base is also increasing daily. You can put a request in to have that item that your after that you might have seen elsewhere. But you can guaranty that when Aria get it in for you the price will be lower than any of their major competitors. Not only do Aria give their customers what they want at low prices, they then go and slap super special deals on us three times a week. So that massive savings on already amazingly priced items three times a week. Super specials are online exclusive and are restricted to one of each item on offer. These deals are not all they offer though. Forum users then get an extra two more offers a week with heavily discounted select items being put up on offer to the users with respect to their post count, 500+ and 1000+ with the added benefits of free delivery. Something I have never really noticed before, despite shopping with Aria on numerous occasions was the Aria Bytes feature which can be found under My Aria on the web site. This neat little feature is Aria's equivalent to a reward system. With every item you buy you are given a number of points or 'Bytes' with some items offering bonus bytes. These bytes can then be cashed in to buy products from a list of items each with their own byte requirement amount. This is a nice way of rewarding some of the more frequent users of the online shop. My only problem with this is the selection of items to choose from is quite small, and only some of the higher required items would interest me at this time. However it's a great feature none the less. If you have never bought from Aria then I recommend that the next time you want to buy something computer related, you check with Aria Technology as your first port of call. read more

She say that they have no record of the dated email , so how did they know that 5 days has passed? Your explanation over the phone lacks truthfullness. If you say that you do not have the email with the date on , how are you able to know that it is 5 days when I first notify you of the missing items. It appears that when you calculated the 5 days you forgot that delivery was after the Easter bank holiday.If I don't get satisfaction soon I will take action in the small claims court for legal advice, costs of several premium phone calls, waste of time and compensation for all the stress. Recently spec'd a new PC for a friend, great prices always adjusting to remain competitive, current items stocked means you get to pick from the latest tech and releases. Didn't have the time to build the PC and install everything for my friend, so i selected all the components with the help of members of their forum, created a wish list and then contacted their sales team by phone, always good to be able to speak to a person immediately rather than having to email and wait or wade through automated answer services. For the small fee involved, the build quality was very good, and performed competently with time and care taken to tidy the cables functionally out of the way. All relevant accessories/paperwork/Discs etc were placed neatly in the motherboard box for safe keeping/storage (the boxes were binned, although i was asked during the call if that was ok, excellent service) The OS was installed and updated, as was the Graphics card software (ATI's CCC) and the relevant software for add-on cards i specified, and the drive partitioning was carried out as i requested, resulting in a very simple plug in and switch on system being delivered, jsut what i needed :) I am fortunate enough to have earned free shipping, so during the call the total post fluctuated as the sales chap sorted out the best price for me, and he maintained the free shipping, this resulted in me being able to select a couple of slightly better components with the small amount saved, especially important as i was on a very tight budget and managed to build a very well spec'd base unit for less than £580 :) The only small things that dealing via the phone does change is that there is no backup of your invoice electronically stored in your shop account, like there would be with a pure web based order, and obviously the rewards scheme is aimed at web purchases, so no aria bytes earned for this purchase because i opted to call and speak with a sales person the deal was done over the phone. however, both very minor points, and outweighed by the fact he managed to save me some money in component selection and pricing Normally i would buy parts and build myself, but, Aria has a top notch build service for a very good price and is exceptional value for money and i would happily recommend friends pay this small fee to save them the time and hassle in self building. read more

As a loyal Aria forum member, I recently got the opportunity to purchase an XFX HD4890 for just under £80, seemingly a real bargain for the price. Aria very helpfully called me up the next day to confirm my order, asked if there was anything else I'd like to order that day, and managed to organise delivery to my an address different to my payment one, which saved a lot of hassle! An excellent sales experience. Citylink delivered the card next day in excellent condition, with the typical excessive Aria packaging ensuring the card got to me undamaged. I unpacked the card, installed it and fired it up. After some time however, it became clear that unfortunately there was an issue with the performance of the card - it was performing around 20% slower than my 4870 1GB, which clearly wasn't right. After posting a thread in the forums and multiple useful suggestions, I felt confident that I had a dud card. I opened a support ticket with XFX UK to confirm there wasn't a BIOS upgrade or any other solutions, and they confirmed my suspicions that it seems as though I have a duff card, and suggested I open an RMA up with Aria. Although the card technically functions, I explained my situation in the "Customer Care" forum, and stated how I was slightly disappointed with the performance. Shortly after this, CS offered to accept the card as an RMA return, even though it still functions. It's this level of care and willingness to investigate an arguably small order that sets Aria's customer service firmly apart from the competition. With past experiences, the care I have had thus far and knowledge of how Aria treats its forum members, I am absolutely confident that I will get a satisfactory resolution to this purchase. I shall continue to recommend Aria to friends and family, and use them myself for a long time to come. Ive been buying from Aria for around 5 maybe 6 years and ive only recently joined the forum community when I was seeking advise on how to overclock some of the components I bought. I've never done anything like this before and ive never been apart of a PC community before, I was a bit hesitant about joining as I didnt consider myself very knowledgeable about hardware but im eager to learn so i gave it a go. Having been a member of the forums since march, we are often are informed of products on offer and members often contribute to product reviews with an aim to help others make a decision on what to buy as the market is often flooded with choices. One forum member asked about an LG LED monitor, which noone had previously bought as it was fairly new stock to Aria at the time so I took the opportunity to buy one as I had been looking for an upgrade myself from my 17" LCD. I've used the website many times before and its as easy as breathing to navigate to the product you wish to buy and a very simple registration process will remember most of your details for the next time you want to shop there, so the whole process takes less than a minute!. I ordered the monitor around 3pm on a tuesday and i was unsure whether it would arrive the next day as some companies are a bit iffy when it comes to delivery cut off times reliability - Not Aria, they stepped upto the challenge and delivered it by 10.05 the next day! The monitor itself was in perfect condition, and as a thanks from the Aria staff for being a loyal customer, they even threw in a 2GB USB drive - which was a big suprise to me as such a gesture goes a long way when it comes to customer experience. compulsory that is why i gave 1 star hello all and thanks for reading and help i made a review last time for the new graphic card they confiscated, they never refund me or see the product again, i said it may be my fault, so as i bought whole system from cost £810.42 2 month ago i updated bios to latest stable version to U1a(UEFI BIOS), since then cpu fan stopped working and lead to failure cpu. i contacted gigabyte they did not reply, i contacted ariapc they replied about 2 weeks later after emails exchange i told them i do not want you confiscate this board as you did to my gpu, they assured me its fine and they sent me RAM. i spoke with Patrick he is nice guy but i believe it is company's policy that do not give a damn about after sale so this negative feed back is not related to him in any way he was supportive. so i sent the board back and i have got email confirmation that they received the board and later date they sent it back for replacement. now it is more than amonth since then but they never reply to my emails while they stated in their website after 28 days customer entitled to refund or replacement. now i have proof for all i said and still have emails on my account. please can somebody advice me how to sue this company i based in ireland, because of that they think they can get away this time but i will try my best to get my right back. thanks in advance and please stay away from this company, you can try different company in uk or if you want great price here is great site in germany and remember euro is weak now so shop from this site instead http://lb.hardwareversand.de/home.jsp thanks for any advice read more

While you may think you getting a good deal, this company is a case of buyer beware . Postage is hiked up to make products cheaper , and products on offer you can NOT call and collect , as they want to hit you with £8 postage ! and some purchases require dispatch from 2 location , so you get hit with double postage charge ! Customer service appalling , attitude appalling , after having to result to VISA to get refund off aria twice now , i googled to see what others were saying , aria is a shop to be avoided . Also they offer to view TFT screens for defects aka missing pixels before dispatch for a FEE of coarse , so who do you think gets the cheap screens with missing PIXELS , clearly the people who don't pay the viewing checking fee and THINK they getting a cheap deal , what you get is others rejects that paid the viewing testing FEE better to go to a reputable seller and get a grade A screen in first place . Also some items were advertised as retail and were in fact OEM , i also reported aria to trading standards that held up the complaint , Aria , as bad as buying on Ebay !.If you look at small print next to images on aria now they may show you a nice retail genuine say Nvidia graphic card and state a cheap price , but in tiny print next to image it will say for illustration purposes only , and you will get a very cheap made in china OEM product that most probably will be off different shape and form , and /or no cooling FAN , like the one they sent me ! . I ordered a Gladiator Fury Warbird, very nice system. Also ordered a monitor, keyboard and speakers. Regretfully, the only decent bit of kit from that list was the speakers. Anyway, this came to just under £1000, not a bad price for the hardware. The computer did not work when I received it and the monitor had a broken pixel. I contacted Aria, who picked up the computer for repairs, but said that they could do nothing with the monitor, not even replace it, as it was only 1 broken pixel.. Received the computer back about a week later, without being informed as to what was wrong with it or how it was repaired, which I should have been, as stated in an email I received from them when they picked it up. After a few hours of use, just updating windows etc, it developed the same fault. Needless to say i was not pleased. After some brief and not very helpful correspondence with Aria, I applied for another RMA. I did not hear back from them for another week. I had had enough by this point, and tried to contact them several times to get a full refund for the entire order. At no point in any of the correspondence after that did they agree to refund me. I have now had to go to my credit card company to apply for the refund, under section 75 of the consumer credit act. Even after informing Aria of this, they still have not contacted me. I am now left with a dead system and a less than perfect monitor. I just hope i can get my money back from my credit card company. I will never deal with this company agian! read more

Usually I order from Ebuyer, but was looking around for better deals and found Aria. From what I could find they offered the cheapest prices in the UK and have an active helpful forum, allong with free delivery for active forum members. So I decided to move over to Aria as it was a win win situation. First order I got an i5 2500 with Z68 board. The process to order was very simple and quick via the aria site. My parts took one day from processing to be delivered. They came at 9:05am and the packing was fine. My next order was a HDD, 8Gb Muskin Blackine Ram (On offer very cheap) and a cheap arianet case around 2 weeks later. Items where delivered next day at 5:20pm. A little later then I was especting but it was still next day delivery so no complaints. So very fast process from payment to delivery. I tested all the parts yesterday and everything is working perfectly fine. The only downside to Aria is getting a response from them sometimes, which can often lead to getting no response back from them if you pm via the forum or email regarding price matches or other questions, but as the prices are so cheap and the process smooth thit is something not to be bothered about. Aria was recommended to me by a friend who has used them quite a few times for pc components etc. I have always been a little bit wary about buying pc parts over the internet as you don't always know what kind of service your going to get. I ordered all the parts for a home build pc (case, psu, mboard, ram, graphic card, monitor etc) at 9pm on Sunday night and the items arrived (Northern Ireland) by Tuesday afternoon, everything very well packaged and in perfect working order. The range of components Aria offer are fantastic, not only in quality but also in price, ordering is so easy via their website and they have a very helpful attitude toward the customer. A nice feature of the site is the " question and review" section that's listed under every component, really useful when you might not be sure if parts are compatible with each other etc, all answered by Aria staff (Great work!) and the reviews by other customers give you a true account of a particular product. All in all its been a really good experience for me and I've since placed and received another order from them. I have been an Aria customer for several years but have only just got around to reviewing the company i choose to spend my money with. Over the years i have had need to purchase components for 5/6 seperate self-build machines plus other upgrades and peripherals. There are numerous eTailer tech sites to choose from, some cheaper than others but at no time when i have required several parts at once have i been able to match Aria prices elsewhere. Delivery is almost always next day for me. Any problems i have had with faulty goods, as is common wherever you buy tech from, has been dealth with swiftly and without hassle, tech-support for configuration issues is excellent too. I am now an active forum member and this entitles me to free postage on most items i buy, i also benefit from member deals, one of which was a Samsung F3 1TB hard drive i recently purchased for £31 delivered, thats a full £12 cheaper than anywhere else can offer. I have recommended Aria to all my family and friends who are interested in parts and full builds, as i see no better option in the marketplace for those with PC technology requirements. Ordered some parts to make the WHS 2011 Server I have been planning for a while late Wednesday 27th July afternoon. Asked the friendly salesman Steve at Aria to include a deal on 8GB Blackline RAM that was coming into stock Thursday. Not even any Citylink caused any woes and my delivery arrived Friday as expected (nice and early too). Rang the order through as a couple of parts of it were special deals for forum members. Glad I did as he did a couple of other prices a little lower for me over the phone to get nearer to a competitor's deal. Note that not every item was the absolute cheapest you can find, but you won't get that anywhere. In general here the prices are at the cheaper end on most stuff so would always rather pass the business to one firm rather than split it for £1-£5. All was well packed in a compact box and everything worked fine on connection. Only problem I have is a cut thumb from trying to stop the retail Intel HSF to see if it was the component making all the noise (won't do that again). read more

I had a dreadful experience with this company, from my experience my advice would be not to order anything if you need something delivered to another address. e.g gift etc. I ordered a netbook, they took payment and because I wanted it delivered to another address they asked for a security check which is fair enough. (but they take full payment before asking for the security check!) I provided them with what they asked for in terms of copies of document which are a pain to have to scan and did not hear anything. had to phone up again to be told that I had not passed the security check and "They now had no stock anyway" It was a present for someone so you can guess how I felt which I had only 2 days to source from somewhere else. AND I still don't have my money back which I will probably have to spend time chasing I emailed their customer services manager to complain and he did not even have the decency to respond. I have been buying off Aria off for a fairly long time their forum which is one of the best communities on the net helpful and friendly bunch of members and staff and I have joined a few over the years. If you get stuck and need help a second opinion before you buy something or even just a chat and joke its the place to be. I now buy 98% of my computer equipment, components and peripherals from them as I also now get free delivery with them under their forum 50 post a month scheme, which I must say can't be faulted. Aria's service is second to none in my opinion, delivery and product range is excellent they will get items that they don't stock if they can, they will even do there best to price match a product for you. Their Products are really well packaged for delivery and personally have never had an item damaged.
