After reading Mac & Pc Centre's claims and their signs of being an Apple Authorised Service Provider I decided to take my iPhone 5s here to get the screen replaced after it had smashed, BIG MISTAKE.
A week and a half after my screen was replaced the home button on my phone stopped working. I then decided to take my phone to Apple to see what they could do. Unfortunately, when I arrived on inspection of my phone they drew to my attention to the new screen, suspecting it had not been done by an apple authorised provider. After explaining my screen had been replaced by an apparent Apple authorised service provider they then asked if I could bring my phone back the next day with the receipt for my new screen.
The next day Apple then inspected the receipt and took it away to run checks. They came back to tell me that the company, despite their claims, are not infect Apple authorised and therefore Apple are now unable to do anything further to fix my phone. They also took a photo copy of my receipt so they can contact the company about their false advertising.
I only used this service as I believed it was Apple authorised, otherwise I would have gona straight to the Apple store. I am also sceptical that the home button fault is a result of the store.
So, if you want a fake, poor quality screen resulting in a fully voided warrenty from Apple then yes use their service.
Otherwise go directly to Apple. read more
