    READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE BUYING; I stumbled on Arhaus online as I was searching for an art piece to hang in living room. I saw a piece I loved so I called the store and placed an order over the phone. The designer, Boris, over the phone was super nice and gave me work cell if I had any other questions on other design decor. He emailed my receipt for my order. Here where it starts to go wrong: 1) My emailed receipt had the wrong address for the shipping of my order. I own two properties, in Southern Cal, and the other in San Francisco. I immediately called Boris , and was told he will type in the order to ship to the SF address. This was an $1100 art piece so naturally I was concerned. I was told not to worry it was taken care of. 2) I had to wait 5 weeks for my Art Piece since it was a custom order. At around the 5th week, I received an email from their ship to department that I should be receiving my order soon. They sent a ship to confirmation TO THE WRONG ADDRESS. I immediately called and the gal over the phone said she updated the order, and was taken care of. 3) At this point I fly to San Francisco because I want to be there when it arrives. My RING Doorbell alerts me on my phone that there is someone at my door. UPS left the big ART PIECE box in front of my door at my LOS ANGELES HOME!! Ugh!!! 4) I'm am extremely irritated at this point. I called the Arhaus in Burlingame and they promised me that it will be taken care of. I didn't want the art piece to be stolen, so I fly back to Los Angeles to put it back in my house and wait until they tell me when UPS will pick it up. At this point, Im already out of pocket by $250 for flying last minute back to Los Angeles to avoid it doesn't get stolen, since it was a huge box in front of my door. 5) Melissa at Arhaus in Burlingame calls me and apologies for the shipping errors. She will make sure it comes to my home in San Francisco. I fly back to San Francisco to await for my picture frame. I get an email confirmation that my order has reshipped to the WRONG ADDRESS AGAIN. They put my Los Angeles street address, and for the City they put San Francisco. How in the world can this be F'd up Again!!! I'm trying to maintain my composure. The gal Melissa is trying to help me, and I don't want to take out my anger on the wrong person. 6) Melissa was kind enough of to get a 5% credit back to me for this fiasco and inconvenience this has caused me. It wasn't much but I appreciate her effort. Melissa tried once again to fix the problem; UPS is called to redirect the picture art to the correct address. I was given the tracking number on when it was coming. Now, I see light at the end of the tunnel. 7) UPS delivers my frame ! Yay!! I'm so excited. I look at the box and all the air whooshed out of me when I saw the box. It was wripped and I prayed it wasn't damaged. I open the box, pull out the frame, and sure enough , the frame was broken and the canvas was ripped. It was not salvageable. ( See picture) 8) I GIVE Up!! I emailed Melissa and Boris, and they agreed to refund me. For 2 nearly weeks I had to keep following up on my refund . On top of that , they took back the measly credit they gave me for all the hassle I endured. That was distasteful. I strongly discourage anyone from buying from this store. The sales associate, Boris and Melissa, were very cooperative in helping to rectify this disaster but overall this Merchant has SERIOUS PROBLEMS with shipping. Your order might end up in Alaska!

Despite the late notice, Winnie was incredibly understanding and immediately helped us reschedule for the following Tuesday without any hassle. When the furniture arrived, we realized the couch delivered was not the color we had selected. I contacted Winnie, and she responded right away with professionalism and care. She confirmed the mistake and promptly arranged for the delivery team to return the sofa and organize a replacement in the correct color within just a few days. Then, after giving it some thought overnight, we realized the sofa we originally chose was actually too large for our space. Once again, Winnie went above and beyond. She patiently listened to our concerns, sent us photos of alternative options, and encouraged us to visit the showroom to try them in person before making a decision. That extra step made all the difference--we ended up finding a sofa we loved even more, and it fit our condo perfectly. Throughout the entire process, Winnie was gracious, responsive, and genuinely committed to making sure we were happy. Her level of care, patience, and attention to detail is truly rare these days. She didn't just help us purchase furniture--she made sure we found the *right* furniture for our home, and she stood by us every step of the way. This is, without a doubt, one of the best customer service experiences we've ever had. Winnie turned what could have been a stressful situation into something seamless and even enjoyable.     I wish we would have checked the reviews before buying from here…read more I went with my sister in law to buy all new furniture for her new apartment. She bought several pieces, thousands worth, including a $750 matress. What the salesperson FAILED to tell us was that the floor model was SIGNIFICANTLY softer that the new one she would recieve because hundreds, if not thousands of people have broken it down. The matress was delivered and immediately we realized that it was hard, like rock hard. Like sleeping on a cement slab. She called and got their standard auto reply of "you just need to break it in" and their "sorry, youre outta luck - too bad for you" attitude. The time it would take to break this matress in to even half of what the floor model felt like would take years. Its completely unrealistic, shes just 1 person! Whats worse is she isnt able to get comfortable and is having lingering effects from loss of sleep and physical pain. She had to buy an expensive mattess topper which slightly helps but still.... NOT THE POINT and not 100% remedied. We tried emailing Living Spaces customer help, customer service and even a corporate email we found and they all bounced back. Its clear they have no intention of helping us. Fortunately there are consumer laws but its a shame we have to even go in that direction. It would have been nice and more importantly it would have been fair for them to not only advise of the difference in feel but remedy the situation by allowing for a courtesy exchange. Jeez, even the ability to correspond would be nice instead of having to resort to alternative recourses. Literally any other mattress chain allowes for at least a 30 day exchange. Living Spaces, you have earned your 2 star reviews.

I don't think that's ever happened to us before. Sales process was easy, they asked for 50% down & let us know about when the furniture would be ready for delivery. Here's where it gets even better. About 3 weeks after our visit to Giorgi Brothers, we stopped into a furniture store in San Bruno to look at tables. We saw the same sofa we had just purchased at Giorgi, but it was almost $300 less & they offered free shipping. Now what? Too late to cancel, but quite a price disparity. I got a written price quote from store #2, submitted it with a gently worded email to Giorgi Brothers, asking if they might consider matching the price and they said YES. I was floored. I want to give big props to everyone at Giorgi Brothers for their above & beyond excellent service and standing by their policy of price-matching. They now have us as customers for life & we are spreading the word to everyone we know who's in the market for beautiful furniture & quality customer service

The most important feature of Laurel Crown's furniture products is the quality of the material - solid Indonesian mahogany, as observable from the depth of the grain seen in full light. Unlike this, the mahogany veneered furniture has no depth of grain. Laurel Crown does not use veneer technology; they cut and carve into solid mahogany. Most recently we ordered a large custom bookcase that was required to be strong enough to support a Britannica set, with a shelf for a 48" LCD TV set above it and shelves for all kinds of audio/video equipment and media from LP to video disks below, all blended in harmony with the book on the shelves around. We could not find such a piece on the market in one year of research. Here is how we interacted with the provider, which we recommend to all people interested in having a quality custom bookcase or other custom piece in their homes: 1. We designed the bookshelf using the free Google Sketchup software for 3-D graphical rendering. Following the initial design, we improved it, based on the constructive criticism and suggestions for practical implementation from Mr. Peter Lok, the owner of the business. 2. When we got to a basic agreement on the specification [a 3.50 m (W) x 2.50 m (H) x 0.45 m (D) 3-piece assembly] and price, Mr. Lok himself created the professional drawings with dimensions of all components and details, for execution. Moreover, decorative features proposed by us (rosettes, window patterns, etc.), from our own inspiration of from company's catalog were all specified for execution. 3. The execution took place in Indonesia and the product was brought first in the store, for acceptance, and then delivered and installed in our house. In this process, we even asked several additional pieces, not included into the original specification, which were executed offshore and delivered with the first ship transportation. The installed and loaded bookshelf looks beyond expectations, with dimensions of the final product within 1 mm from the documented specification.

Laurence Lok could envision what was in my mind (something my husband cannot do!) and transfer that image to a concept drawing and then to the actual piece. I had ordered a French provincial style settee, a French Bergere chair, a coffee table similar to Laurel Crown's own nut table, and two end tables. The pieces are beautiful and the workmanship is exquisite! The selected hazelnut color finish blends perfectly with my French style dining room!! Laurence Lok is a most patient, kind, diplomatic and in my case long suffering person! I cannot say enough kind things about him!! It was a pleasure dealing with him throughout the entire process. I highly recommend this company if you desire exquisitely made custom furniture.
