This is the kind of toy store kids and parents dream of. High quality, well researched kid toys, in an environment that is clean, friendly and calls out for kids to play! The toy selection is very broad, but not overwhelming. I don't recall seeing any electronic toys?! There were tons of 'hands on' toys, not just crafts but active and building toys. As I went around, I heard the owners (I know one of them) say a lot of "oh my kids LOVE that one", which made me feel like I was more like someone's playroom than a store! I feel like I could pick out anything and not worry about whether it would hold up, or whether kids would like it because someone else checked that out for me. And, the prices are weirdly affordable? I'm not sure how that works but this is my new go-to kid store! read more

What a great find! They have a great selection of toys and keep great stock of their items. Everything seems to be very well chosen. They even have a little play table in the backroom where my toddler loves to play and I can get some peaceful shopping time! Love this store! read more

Our business specializing in bringing fun to kids of all ages and needs. Our boutique toy shop is stocked with high-quality, wooden, Montessori, family style toys that do not require batteries (for the most part). Each toy is hand selected based on age, needs, interested and entertainment. We also have a dedicated section to special needs and sensory focused toys.

History

Established in 2021.

We are Amber, Maddy, and Teresa, the founders of Argyle Toys. As Babylon Village moms, we built Argyle Toys from the idea that a toy store brings a special kind of magic to the town. With unique backgrounds and children ranging in age and needs, it was paramount that we created a space that features affordable, high quality toys that teach, stimulate and entertain as well as provide access to specialty toys that will grow as our children grow. During the Pandemic, it became clear that parents, friends and family needed a safe space where they are guaranteed to find something magical for their children. At Argyle Toys, you will be able to find toys based on age range, interest and affordability. We are dedicated to doing the research into finding the best of the best for your little ones. Launching online in March of 2021, we were so happy to open our doors in Babylon Village in June of that year.
