This is one of the cutest tea spots on Long Island! Absolutely one of my favorite places in Babylon Village! Everything in this shop is just as cute as the next. The theme is bright pinks and greens that serve a tropical, insta, Wicked feel. The staff members and owner are the sweetest, most helpful people. I did not know which drink or scone to choose and boy did they help me choose the best combo. I went a few weeks ago and am still thinking about both! It's also attached to Hitch which in itself is a great establishment with knick knacks and beautiful second hand items. I also love that they offer events and even picnic packages. I seriously do not think I have ever seen a store with so much variety. I am so happy this store exists in the heart of Babylon. Came across this stand while visiting the Babylon Farmer's Market and the staff was as kind as can be. Even for a stand: they had a surprising variety of drinks including flavored matchas, flavored lattes, and teas. I opted for an iced lavender matcha and it was served in this cute heart shaped cup with a heart shaped straw, truly unique! But when I took it a sip, it was an utter letdown. You get a hint of matcha but this vari-tea somehow tasted like a gatorade? Watery, sweet, but no discernible lavender flavor. It's a shame, because i think this place is such a gift to the community, with its monthly events and dynamic seating. I do hope you visit, as I will again soon! I met with my bestie and we headed to Bestea LOL. As corny as that sounds it's true! My best friend and I decided to try this place and it exceeded our expectations! The place is beyond cute and aesthetic. Definitely IG worthy! The staff were super friendly and warm. I tried the hibiscus tea and a scone and loved both! From the moment we walked in ,it was pure vibes. The team at BesTea were very welcoming ,and made great suggestions as it was our first time there. I got the chocolate tea ,and blueberry scone. Bestie got a floral tea that came in the cutest cup, and a funfetti scone. We both enjoyed everything,and agreed we will be returning. We checked out their store full of cutest items. We found out they do monthly events as well. They even have a book club on Mondays. I got the vanilla chai tea and it was so tasty! I think it needed to be steeped a little longer because it did taste a bit watery. I liked the taste so much that I'd get it again though. Tasted more like vanilla. Didn't taste any spiciness which I actually liked. Service was great. The guy was helpful and told us about all of the different teas before ordering. From the moment you walk in, you feel like you're transported into a spot from a movie. Everything is very pink and stylish, artsy and cozy. They're design work in setting this place up was pretty incredible. The staff is so welcoming and kind, offering up suggestions and expertly crafting some delicious teas. I ordered the Chamomile Mint which is a combo I've made myself several times but haven't seen anyone else offer it. Really hit the spot for an afternoon of relaxing and getting some work done. The prices were all really reasonable too! There's plenty of seating, from a small table outside, a huge window nook, some stools at the counter, and another section of chairs and couches with an umbrella inside the back of the shop. It's all super cozy and inviting. I also checked out the shop next door which is connected through and run by the same owner. Beautiful! This tea shop is decorated so gorgeously, with attention to detail at every angle. Chris helped us explain the menu and their offerings, offering many suggestions and our options. All teas can be enjoyed hot or iced, and there are options for some of the flavors to have mixed with lemonade. Ive been wanting to finally try this spot out for a while. So glad I did. The women working was so friendly and helpful. I tried the cotton candy tea which was very sweet but very good. It came in an adorable heart cup with a heart straw and stopper. The inside is decorated so cute And cozy. A huge bench in the front of the store, a long bar area with stools and a table towards the back. They have a bathroom inside and it is attached to a store that you can browse before or after. The inside is so beautiful and a tea place I would always dream of. I love the trendy things and the Valentine decor. The teas were delicious. I got hot vanilla chia and my husband got lavender tea. We both loved our choices and the girls who served us were very kind and helpful. My only recommendation to the owner is to move the menu. It is currently behind a few bar stools and in an awkward location. It would look much better in your standard middle of the bar where some of the teas are. Cute, cute, cute, I wanna live here. The ambiance was completely my aesthetic: pink, velvet, marble, and TEA. So many flavors of tea; black, green, oolong, herbal; hot or iced. I tried the iced green peach and it was bursting with bright flavor. Next time, I want to try the matcha-mazing or ginger pineapple express. I came here one Saturday afternoon to get some work done and have some tea. They have a wide selection of teas and the employees are very knowledgeable about their tea. As an FYI, there is no coffee served. Inside it looks cute and trendy with many photo opportunities.
