Don't think that booking online will save you money, it will only give you a headache if your computer freezes or you inadvertently push the "wrong button" and cannot "undo". Good luck trying to reach a real person and modify your booking. I recently purchased a trip for my mom from and back to Italy and Anna was able to to seat us together, matching my existing Lufthansa mileage flight which was from and to LA.
