I've been here twice in less than a week and wow this place is damn good, the market is full of delights and this a shining star, excellent flavors, warm inviting service even right before close(sorry :( I get off late and have to ride my bike here) but oh my lord is it worth it, big portions and BIG TASTES, get the spicy !!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you so much the vibe was excellent

Arepas House is fantastic Venezuelan comfort food spot. I ordered the patacón with two perfectly fried plantains. It was crispy, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying. Definitely a must try, and I will be back for more.

I love this place! I've been to a few of the Arepa's places in Denver and am no expert, but Arepa's House is so good every time.

I've been on a bit of an arepa journey this year, and while I won't claim to be an expert, I can say with full confidence: Arepas House is my favorite so far. Located inside Edgewater Public Market, this spot brings bold, comforting Venezuelan flavors that feel both homey and exciting. What I tried: * Spicy Chicken Arepa - Shredded chicken, fried plantains, cheddar, and guasacaca. Absolute flavor bomb. * Pabellón Arepa - Shredded beef, black beans, plantains, cheese, avocado. Hearty, sweet-savory, and so satisfying. * Taqueños - Fried cheese sticks in pastry dough. Gooey, salty, crispy perfection. * Plantains + Cheese - Simple and delicious. * Cachapa - A buttery corn pancake topped with melty Paisa cheese. My new favorite comfort food. * Petacón - A loaded plantain sandwich with meats, slaw, sauces, and serious crunch. Favorites: The cachapa is a must-try--sweet corn and cheese in perfect harmony. The taqueños are dangerously good, and the spicy chicken arepa had the perfect balance of heat, texture, and that tangy guasacaca sauce that ties it all together. The food is full of heart and flavor, and the team is friendly and welcoming. It's casual but vibrant, with generous portions that leave you full and happy. If you're craving authentic Latin food with serious flavor, Arepas House should be on your list. No doubt I'll be back.

Terrific arepas. Fast, friendly service. Decent value for the money. The papelon con limon was slightly disappointing. Would go back again on my next visit to Edgewater Public Market.

Ugh I love these. They really load everything up and my only wish is that they give me a bigger arepa so it doesn't create such a mess. The one at Lakewood is always fast and if I'm near one, I usually like to get one

Located in a marketplace food court, the Arepa House was a great choice if you're looking to try something packed with flavour and meat. The service is very efficient. Everything is done through a computer to phone system to order and pickup when ready. There is tons of seating and lots to look at in the area. The domino Arepa was a new item for me and I was pleasantly surprised how much I liked it. I thought the breading could've been a bit less gummy but other than that, everything was great.

I had a little bit of trouble finding this restaurant as I didn't know it was in a food garage/hall type set up. Once I figured that out I went in. The "Public Hall" was busy! The large parking lot was pretty full, around 12:00 on a Saturday, so that's not surprising. I ended up choosing the Patacon - instead of Arena Pan Arepa sandwich outer pieces - the sandwich outsides are made with fried plantains. I'd never tried one (anywhere) like that. I ended up having to put it in the refrigerator and ate it a day later warmed up. So, fresh is best but the sandwich still tasted good.

Went for lunch with coworkers at Edgewater Public Market, decided to try these 2 from Arepa House - Venezuelan cuisine. Loves it, had it for the first time and didnt disappoint. Food tasted good, fresh and serves with level of spicy as well. Service was quick, you ordered on tablet, everything is self explanatory and makes your decision easy. This food court has casual ambience. Definitely a must try ,

I had the vegetarian arepas and my husband had the chicken salad arepas. I wasn't sure what to expect from his but it was surprisingly tasty. My vegetarian arepas was fantastic- huge portion and bursting with fresh flavors. We started with their patacones- (I hunk mozzarella sticks but better) very yummy. My toddler couldn't get enough of the dipping sauce they came with. The only interaction I had was with a touch scree that I placed my order with and paid through. It was easy to navigate and I got a text when our order was ready. They have a nice rooftop patio with a bar truck, but as pets are only allowed downstairs we moved to the downstairs patio.

Besides Hugo Chavez and the crazy socialists of Venezuela ( like eating zoo animals proves you have a great economy???) I love Venezuelan food and it's people. Arepas House is just bomb ass....the vegetarian Areapas is perfect even for a carnawhore like me. Sure the shredded beef one is insanely good but for a vegetarian treat the mixture of black beans, sauce, and that warm cornmeal bread is delicous. Loved the tequenos with the thousand island like dipping sauce. Least favorite ( I was probably stuffed by that time ) were the yucca fries...they were so chunky it was not a wonderful thing to eat. If you are feeling crazy try one of their drinks: The malted soft drink is really weird but refreshing and the bubble gum soft drink ( forgot the name) is also something you have never tried before. Def try these guys for something new and unique

This was my first time ever trying Valenzuelan food and omg it is so good!! The beans in the Domino arepa were so flavorful. I love that they have the computer you order on, the staff member asked if we were good. The cheese arepa was good but definitely not as good as Domino. 10/10 would come back!

Last Sunday (on the day many were getting ready for their Super Bowl gatherings), I was busy running some errands in Sunnyside neighborhood. All of a sudden, the thought of eating to entertain my 70% empty stomach hit me, I searched for the word "empanada" as I wanted some finger food and this restaurant came up in my search. Upon finding out that it was about 5-10 minutes away from where I was, it was a no brainer to me. This is a Venezuelan restaurant with almost 5-star review. Not knowing much about Venezuelan cuisine, my first thought was that they might have similar dishes as the surrounding South American countries like Columbia do. But most of all, I was so eager to try their empanadas. I've had Argentinian, El Salvadorian, Columbian and Nicaraguan versions of empanadas in the past. I wondered how different Venezuelan ones would be... I was warmly greeted by a young lady upfront upon arrival. This is a small/family style restaurant. The number of tables is very limited but you can sit outside as long as the weather permits. There was a large table of 7-9 people having a birthday party. I think I hit the place during the peak lunch time. Their empanadas are priced at $8 range. This was a bit pricey to me at the first glance but since I didn't know what kind of portion size they'd be made in, I thought I'd give them a try. I got me Reina Pediada, Sweet Domino and Fish. The total came to $27 with some change. Yup, you usually don't pay this much for a few to several empanadas but hey, like I said, I decided not to judge at that point. The young lady who took my order impressed me with some careful attention to detail. I placed my sunglasses at the ordering counter where the space was very limited. She had to move them just a little when she placed the credit card receipt for me to sign it. "I worked in the optics before." is what she said when she gently placed my sunglasses a little to the side in a very careful way. What a kind/considerate gesture that was! This kind of minor and yet incredible care didn't escape my notice. Thank you!!! When my food was ready, the same young lady handed me my bag. It was quite heavy. As soon as I got to my car, I opened it and there they were; my beautiful empanadas were large and dense/heavy!! They appeared to be all deep-fried so I wonder if Venezuelan style empanadas are all that way? Not sure. Anyway, I was on my way to a job duty so I had to eat quickly. I started to take a bite out of each one and ohhh yes, they were dense with a lot of fillings inside. Although I must frankly say that I like the flaky baked kind of empanadas more, these Venezuelan ones were equally impressive. Yes, this was a surprise find. I will definitely stop by here when I'm in the neighborhood for sure.

I absolutely love arepas and the second I saw this place in the Avanti food court I knew I had to get it because I've been craving good Venezuelan arepas rellenas for so long. I'm vegetarian which they had multiple options for and I decided on the 'La Original' arepa with black beans, plantains, and avocado, and I requested for cheese on it as well which they added free of charge. The arepa was everything I could've ever wanted and it didn't fall apart while eating it even though it was super full which was good because that does happen often with poorly made arepas. I also got the sweet fried plantains which had cheese and their special sauce and were so so good. The employees were kind and attentive and the food came out in about 5 minutes because there was pretty much no line. I loved this place and wish I lived in Boulder so I could get it more often. Si te hace falta una buena arepa venezolana, te juro que este lugar no te decepcionará, ni en su calidad, servicio al cliente, ni su autenticidad.
