I was a bit hesitant to go into the restaurant, as it looked very Spartan. You order at a counter, and I quickly found out that few people speak English here, but we communicated well enough to get our order across to the cashier. We got 2 of each of the following: Coronas; steak, chicken and pork tacos; plantains and a pupusa. First taco I ate was the pork taco... Tasty, some crispy edges, avocado sauce and some hot sauce in a double corn tortilla. Fantastic! The chicken and steak tacos were outfitted similarly, and though not as tasty as the pork, still very good. The pupusa had cheese, refried beans and pork. Yum! The totalcost of this meal for 2 was $37...I would have paid twice that for that quality and taste. Best of all, my wife said, "hey, this is a keeper! We're coming back!" BTW, though we didn't try any of the baked goods, they have what appears to be a pretty good bakery with Salvadoran cookies and sweets, plus full sized cakes. We'll try something from the bakery next time!
