I was new to the area, went because I had a cracked molar, I paid $800 to have a crown but then was…read moretortured. The temporary crown fit fine but for some reason the lab they use to create the real one couldn't get it right. I had to keep coming back and going through the painful process of getting my temp crown off and them exposing what was left of my tooth to something painful they put on it in order to make a mold and do another 3D scan of the tooth. They called me to come back in 3 times because the permanent crown wasn't fitting at all! By the 4th visit and the crown still didn't fit right the dentist was like we are going to make this fit he was gruff and rough. I ended up with a horrible red purple bruise in my mouth where I was painfully injected with Novocain. He ground down one of my teeth above the crown also while grinding down the crown. Needless to say it never fit right, has caused me nothing but pain and discomfort. Couldn't chew well on that side of my mouth and now about 3 years later it freaking fell off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I highly do not recommend going here. I have dental ptsd now and I have to find a new dentist to fix my painful missing crown tooth!

But at Scasta Family Dentistry the word "Family" has more to do with you being a part of their family than just who they serve. Dr. Scasta is scary smart, and makes sure he's always 110% on top of new procedures and innovations so he can bring them to his patients. Today I saw Ari for my cleaning. As always....super professional and capable, but it struck me how kind it was that she remembered how many sons I had and places I'd worked. She cared not only about my dental health, but about me. And that's just the norm. Keep in mind that Scasta is not a "plan dentist," even though they take insurance, so they might be a little more expensive than you're used to.
