Update: ive recently changed dentists seeing as though they cannot seem to get my billing right. I even verified my own benefits and wrote down what i was eligible for but that didnt seem to help. I had a very disappointing experience at this dental office. First, they strongly pushed me to have a deep cleaning, even after I explained that I could only afford what my insurance would cover. I declined, but they continued to insist that I needed it. Eventually, they performed the basic cleaning, which was extremely painful--by far the most painful dental cleaning I have ever experienced. After my appointment, I received a $120 bill for additional X-rays that I was told the dentist required. However, no one mentioned these additional X-rays or that I would be charged for them during my visit. I contacted the office to question the charge, and they ultimately waived the $120 bill. The entire experience left me feeling uncomfortable and pressured, and I did not feel that the costs and procedures were communicated clearly. I will not be returning. read more

I moved 9 months after I started Invisalign with Dr. Rushing. He knew I was moving and still made me pay the full 5,500$ for my treatment plan. Even though he knew I would never see him again and have to start with a new ortho very far away in another state. That is so crappy. He should have cut me a break since he only saw me for less then 12 months. I wouldn't recommend someone shiesty like that to anyone. read more

If you go here, ask for someone other than Veronica as your hygienist. She is very aggressive while cleaning and will lay her arms on your face and shove your face into her stomach. They take forever just to call you back, and even then you still have to wait 30 minutes for the dentist to come in, than another for the hygienist to come in. Do not recommend this place took my daughter yesterday for a toothache ,we sat in the waiting room for over an hour me, my daughter and another older guy watching all the other people come in after us be called in before us and some had to fill out the same paper work as we did and ours was turned in first because we arrived first and they still were called in before us went to window and asked a lady that said that she had to enter it into the system and that "you guys" would be next but what got me is no one else had to wait for their paper work to be entered soon as they turned it in they were called to the back in less then 10 minutes but anyways after being called back the lady said rinse your mouth out and ill be in room 5 mind we have never been here before so please where is room 5 after figuring it out on my own where room 5 was we then had to wait almost 30 minutes to be seen by a NOT KID FREINDLY DENTIST he walks in ask 1 question and then says well we are not specialist if she didnt let the other dentist then she is not going to let us look he then grabbed a tool told my daughter in a not kid friendly way to Open her mouth she grunted like she scared he put the tool down and said see i told you then after being rude wanted to ask questions i just grabbed my daughter hand and walked out because i felt rage that i wasted time and insurance money on a dentist that i will Never go to again for either of my kids ill drive over an hour to houston to take them to a decent dentist if i have to because all the ones around are racist and full of bs read more

Thorough dentist's office with knowledgeable doctors and staff. I had a cleaning lately and Dr. Allen and his hygenist were patient, professional, answered all of my questions, and did a great job with the cleaning itself. The hygenist was extremely thorough and didn't make my gums bleed by poking and prodding too much. Service was fast and efficient and I didn't have to wait too long. read more

Do not go here!!! My wife went here recently and they charged her at least $200 and probably more for a regular cleaning. My wife has the highest premium plan that her employer offers so she shouldn't have had to hardly pay anything at all. I have the second highest premium plan that the same employer offers and I only had to pay $33 for a routine cleaning/office visit. Then, they tell her she had infected gums. No she doesn't. Also tried to tell her she needed all this stuff done and that she had horrible teeth. No she doesn't. Not long before that, I took my kids there for a routine cleaning. They told me my daughter had 16 cavities and that she needed all this work done that was going to cost a butt load of money. Needless to say, we won't be going back there. read more

Stay away if you have choices. I first got doubts this place when the dentist said that my 6 year old needed 4 fillings. My children always had their cleanings and checkups on time at another dentist. We moved last year and I chose Element dental due to location. My daughter was terrified and so we took her to a pediatric dentist. The new dentist did not detect any cavities. We waited the six months and took her back. After a full panoramic x-ray we were told that she did not have any cavities and has great dental health. I have been receiving a text from Element dental that I have an unpaid bill. I decided to call them and was told I owe $17.00 from the visit in December. I was certain that I paid the fee for fluoride treatment but to confirm I searched my bank. Low and behold I found the check written out to Element Dental for $17.00 on December 23rd. This place is all about making money and does not care about providing fair honest treatment. read more

First of all I want to say I went to the Element Dental in Bryan, Texas by the Krogers. I dont want this review to affect the lady dentist there because she was wonderful she has great bedside manner and she explains everything clearly before she goes to work on your teeth so I give her 5 stars. My problem was with the person that checks you in i guess that would be the front desk clerk I believe her name was Lisa, this witch gets not even a half star from me, I only put a star because that's as low as it goes. I walked in the door for my 3:30 appointment and I proceeded to sign the sign in sheet and this witch Lisa says to me DO YOU HAVE A NAME? I looked around and back at her and told her my name. What happened to May I help you or just waiting until i sign my name on the sign in log. I was saying to myself calm down because I wanted to ask her B**** do you have a name. To me this clown was just rude. I asked for her supervisor and she came in the room to talk to me and as I was telling her what happened she had a funky smirk on her face so I knew then that this is how they treat people when they walk in the door and then they sit and laugh about it. I also reported this to the Dentist and she apologized. They should have made that 300 pound witch and her supervisor who was 400 pounds come and apologize. Like I said I bet them witches do this all the time and get a good laugh off on it. I will be looking for a more professional office to go too but something tells me this is the norm. They hire these young kids and don't train them well at all and then the supervisors befriend them and can't write them up. So beware folks for Lisa at the front desk as soon as you walk in the door she is ready with her smart rude mouth. read more

This is one of the strangest medical/dental offices I've been in. First, there are no reading materials anywhere. Seriously, not one magazine or book in sight. With a focus on pediatric dentistry, this is an unforgivable oversight. Second, and worse, the wait is interminable, both when my wife and I have brought our two kids. We spent over an hour in the exam room waiting for a cleaning which ended up lasting all of 45 seconds. The staff apparently didn't see this as a problem at all: no apologies were offered. The staff weren't particularly warm with the kids either. Most kids don't enjoy the dentist and some are downright terrified. There was no acknowledgement of possible fears by the staff. Apparently, this clinic is going to stop taking our insurance as well. You know what? I'm totally fine finding a new dentist. read more

A surprising disappointment. I've put more time and effort into every dog patient I've scaled and polished. I was early for my appointment, but sat waiting for 25 min after my appointment time. The x-ray tech stood next to me while shooting rads (not good x-ray exposure prevention), and was sniffling the whole time. At cleaning I received a cursory hand-scaling (I can do that at home!), followed by the shortest polish I have ever witnessed. Polishing is a very important step, which smooths any groves left by scaling - these groves are the first place that tarter is going to sit in and start building up. So smoothing the groves is essential for you leaving the office with healthy, build-up resistant teeth. Rather than polish each surface of each individual tooth, the hygienist ran the polisher from the back teeth to the front teeth in one rapid motion. I observed the notes which were automatically inserted into every patient file, indicating what they had educated me on. It claimed brushing times and amounts per day were discussed, along with many other facets that never were, in fact, brought up with me... Fluoride treatment (is that even a thing in adults) was as fast as the polish, and now I have white chunky teeth that I'm not supposed to brush till tomorrow :( I also was told I had a cavity and hadn't seen the reviews about their ability to spot cavities that may not exist, so I let them fill it. Ended up with a sharp nook/point in the filing that the hygenist tried to just chip away, while explaining that teeth have natural 'points' to them, and it would wear down over time... Beware. Speedy/minimalist work, inaccurate copy & paste patient records, and certainly not where you should be going for something as important as dental hygiene. read more

This place is AWFUL. The staff are so incredibly clueless. The front desk lady didn't know how to answer questions about medical content on their own paper work. The X-ray lady didn't know how to do X-rays and kept asking someone else how to do her job. This took forever since other staff members were busy with other patients. It' took 30 minutes to do X-rays!!!! When I was asked what my medications were, she laughed at me. I asked her if she knew her medications and she said no. Why would a place hire someone who doesn't know common medications or how to take simple X-rays? The staff also asked me to sign for something and when I asked what it was for, they again said, I don't know. How am I a supposed to sign for something if they can't tell me what it's for? read more

This place runs patients through their office like cattle. My last experience : Appointment at 9AM - see the dentist at 9:35. Procedure will take an hour. Dentist did not have time to do it then. Made another appointment for 11AM that same day. (I was assured all would be ready to go then) I came back at 11 and walked out at 11:50 after waiting to see a dentist the entire time. They wasted an entire morning of my time with nothing to show for it. There are much better dentist offices to patronize. Avoid Elemental Dental. read more

I was going there because they were part of my HMO. It's safe to say I will not be going there again. They made me wait over an hour even though I had made an appointment. Afterwards, the doctor told me that I needed a filling. The process was ok with minor discomfort but now that side of my teeth is useless for eating. I cannot chew any thing hard. And when I say hard I mean chips. Unbelievable. Very disappointed and pissed. They did more harm than good. Hopeless. read more

First visit with my two kids (6 and 3) was good. Really nice dentist, explained everything, had me sign consent, very happy. My husband went a couple weeks later, to get a couple cavities and a root canal done. Had initial consult and agreed to do just root canal and come back to do cavities, for financial reasons. They hook him up to nitrous oxide and then the office manager comes back in and says, well actually the dentist wants to do everything now and we'll work out payment plan. He's loopy and really doesn't understands and agrees. So when he goes to check out they ask for like a $300 payment. While they're doing the work, his tongue keeps getting in the way and the dentist keeps making rude comments to the hygentist and telling her to crank up the nitrous. Today took my kids back for 6 month check up, new dentist, other one gone, and they have the kids in separate rooms, which is difficult. They checked out my son while I'm down the hal with my daughter getting x rays. The dentists comes to tell me he has 3 cavities that need to be filled. I say ok and then take my daughter to get checked up. Says she needs silver caps on 2 of hers and that we'll have to come back a different day, just cleaning today. He leaves so we go back to wait with my son. Office manager comes to explain billing to me, his cavities won't be covered because I've reached my spending limit for year, so we're gonna wait until july when benefits start over to do them. I sign payment agreement for both and wait. We waited over 30 min for a cleaning! We've been here about hour total. They start cleaning (i didn't sign consent, nothing) and then start doing the cavities! I asked wait, is this part of the cleaning because we're waiting for cavities. He said, oh sorry, We can do payment plan. I explain to him I can't afford that and wanted to wait. So he stopped (luckily they didn't charge us for the one already done) next they clean my daughter's teeth (sign consent this time) and she's kind of squirming (she's 3) and the dentist is shaking his head and huffing the whole time. He says, she's gonna have to be referred out for the silver caps she won't sit still and leaves. I was just really appalled, they advertised pediatric dentists, if you don't want to work with kids, don't! She wasn't that bad, I've heard a lot worse there. Do not go here. My wife and I went and the dentist found 4 'cavities' for me and 5 for my wife. Neither of us had ever had a cavity and we generally take good care of our teeth, so we opted to wait to have them filled and get a second opinion. We went to Johnson Dentistry which is a MUCH nicer place and you can tell they are much more skilled, which is one thing, but they didn't find any cavities for me nor for my wife. I am relieved and thankful we chose (actually, my wife was more adamant about it) to wait and get a second opinion and I am appalled that Element would have such a poor practice and obvious carelessness about their patients. I cannot 'un'-recommend this place enough...don't go here unless you want to pay hundreds to dollars for someone to drill into your teeth when you don't need that done. read more

We came in for an emergency appointment after my daughter needed her front tooth re-filed after her filling came out. It was late Friday and our "regular" dental office was closed. We called their emergency line and they recommended a few places open on Fridays. We called all and only Element Dental was helpful enough to get us in the next morning. I spoke to a woman named, Annette, who was very helpful and kind enough to help us. She called me back and guided me to what options we had with our insurance and times of availability. She was awesome! We came in and were seen by Dr.Kim who was really polite and great with my daughter. I really like how he explained everything as he was doing the procedure. He took his time fixing her tooth filling and it looks really great. This is our third time having her tooth fixed (twice at our regular dental office). She was really happy with the experience at Element Dental and how her tooth looks. She has been very self-conscious about chipping her tooth and her old fillings she felt, never looked quite good. Dr.Kim really made her tooth look great that it is hard to tell which tooth was chipped. Overall, wonderful experience. Wonderful, friendly staff who greeted us with warm smiles. At first they seemed great. It kind of bugged me that unlike a lot of places they don't do a discount for cash paying customers and they don't do a payment plan but I figured the service would be worth it. I was REALLY wrong. I had 11 fillings done in one appt (which I did ask for). Afterwards I hurt really bad. They said to give it a couple of days and then call back if I still felt that bad. So I did and they told me to come in that same day. They took xrays and said the fillings looked good and it was just soreness. A week later the doc said he'd write me a script for pain medicine but I had to come pick it up. They couldn't call it into the pharmacy. I live an hour away. Very inconvenient. 2 weeks later he wanted me to talk to the oral surgeon for a consultation. The doctor literally stuck his hand in my mouth and felt around for 5 seconds. Asked what my pain level was on a scale from 1 to 10 and then talked down to me when I told him my answer. Prescribed me a muscle relaxer (which i'm not comfortable taking due to a previous bad reaction) and a non-steroid anti inflammatory (which I can't take because of my kidneys and didn't care when I told him so). Told me to go on a liquid diet and to see him in a month! Another week went by and I called the dentist again and he pretty much just blew me off. Wanted me to see another specialist but never actually said who he wanted me to see. After that 2nd appt he never did do any other tests to see if it could something else could of been wrong. After a month I decided to go to another dentist. He did a full exam and had me fitted for a custom fit night guard. and said that I need a root canal. Seems like Element could of figured that out before I had to endure 2 months of pain. Will never go back to them!! read more
