Beautiful open kitchen

Dinner last night was one of my top 5 ever dining experiences. This is a new restaurant, open about two months. Emphasizes grilled foods with lots of smoke. Lots of steaks, but offered chicken in mole, and some nice seafood. We had a filet and sea bass, but most offerings, from appetizers to dessert, are larger and intended to be shared. The grilled artichoke with aoli appetizer, laced with sAlt, coarse pepper and smoke, was savory. My filet had a char to die for, cooked perfect medium. I'm not a sea bass fan but my wife was very happy. The sauce was a sweet corn and tomato compote that held its texture very well. Service was impeccable. Price is at the top end for juarez. A large shared appetizer , two individual entrees , a shared dessert and one after dinner drink, along with a $50 bottle of a Mexican Syrah, with generous tip, was $145.

Probably the best shrimp and steak that I have ever taste... not to mention the tres-leches pistachio dessert it's superb! Service, atmosphere, location and design are EXCELLENT!

This was probably the best restaurant I tried while in Juarez. It was a gourmet restaurant so we experienced a high-end take on the local cuisine. As soon as we arrived we were given mole bread and tortilla chips. What was really cool though is that the waiter came over and prepared the salsa for the chips right before our eyes using a mortar and pestle. They can adjust the spice to your liking and we got a variety of salsas because we were a group. I found that the spicy ones weren't so spicy at all though I do have a reasonable spice tolerance. From there I ordered an avocado soup served in a bread bowl with cheese melted on top. It was rich, creamy and very hearty. That was followed by a hangar steak which was cooked to perfection. I couldn't believe how tender it was and it was bursting with flavour. The side of chilaquiles was also super tasty. You can't go to Mexico and not finish off your meal with a tequila. Here they have a wide variety of them available for your liking. In my opinion the best way to drink it is "bandera Mexicana" style where you are given lime and pomegranate juice to drink with your tequila. We truly saved the best for last when we came here because out of all the restaurants I tried in Juarez this one was my favourite. It is an excellent option to discover the local cuisine.

Pastore tacos are probably the best I've ever had and so full of meat I was very impressed. I…read moreweighed 300 pounds and I was full after eating four.
