Immediately following my posting of the above paragraph in a Google review, in a classic example of 'blame the customer', the store falsely alleged "online harassment", and "attacks on retail workers", in its reply. Serious, false allegations like these are libelous.
The lesson here, for the business, is that friendliness goes a long way towards customer retention, whereas attacking your customers only serves to further inflame their dissatisfaction. It's a dishonest, unwise practice that deters potential new customers, and puts the business at risk of legal action. read more
