The store will only do a refund up to 60 days after purchase and will not allow me to return them through mail or send them any photos at all to even just have them refund my card. I have never in my life had such poor customer service and they will absolutely NEVER get our business ever again. The manager of the store even agreed its ridiculous and happens often. Living 3 hours away from the nearest store we are just out $100 dollars and a pair of shoes. Absolutely disgusted definitely do not recommend ever shopping there.

These shoes are the best I have worn in my entire life! I went on a trip to Paris 2 weeks later & wore them 12 hours a day sightseeing. My husband got blisters - my feet felt great at the end of the day. I was impressed because she could have easily sold me a much more expensive pair of shoes that I loved for the style. But she didn't - I love these shoes so much that when I could not get a 2nd pair I ordered an identical pair from the US with the help of the Akaisha US Rep.

Most of these so-called "orthotic" shoes cannot be repaired or rebuilt. Properly manufactured leather shoes with firm insoles yield nearly instant relief from ankle and arch pain--pain typically caused by flat feet (excessive pronating) and obesity. Pronating may be alleviated by light boots with ankle support--the benefit of the German brands is the all leather construction that conforms to your foot over time. In the end it is the responsibility of the buyer to communicate what they want and how a product feels.

First the store is wonderful to browse through, there were two gals working when I went in, one named Carrie and the other Kayla. Both very pleasant and professional. A nice hello to greet me and then let me have a look around. This shop is new and carries, purses, artwork, jewellery, speciality items, they pretty much have all the basis covered here. But as I said , these items are not your average. One of my favourite things that caught my eye were things fabulous creatures called Sweet & Sour Gargoyles, they are made in PEI, and are worth every penny. The average was about $100.00. The artists that make these have fantastic imaginations. I want one! This is a must have for me, it is on my list , a collapsible water bottle in lots of colours, made by Vapur. This is freezable, dishwasher safe (top rack),rolls up, stands up when full, has a place to write your name on it, this is such a great bottle, is any of my family is reading this, guess what, you are getting one as a gift. These are only $11.99, a great deal. They also have in the back of the store a nice selection of baby gifts. There is a great item there, they are bears that you insert the hot water battle or cold. This store has lots of options for you to choose from. Kayla told me that they try to support the Canadian artists as much as possible. Most of the products they seek out are Canadian made. This alone is a reason to go to the shop and support it. I want to thank Carrie and Kayla for allowing me to take a few pictures, they were great and know their product lines. :)

Unless you are an A or MAYBE a B cup, you will not find a bathing suit here to fit you. I will say that they had some nice shoes, but they were WAY over priced and it was all random brand names that I have never even heard of before. I was really, really unimpressed. It might have been better if the sales girl had of at least said "Hi!" but for the 15 minutes we were in there she just stood at the counter aimlessly looking around a pouting.

Not that I have anything against that look, some people can really pull it off. But it's not for me. The shoe pricing was still pretty expensive, even though there was a %50 off sale. I couldn't imagine seeing the actually cost of those shoes. I'm probably just jealous that I can't afford them though. I guess a lot of people can because the store was pretty full of women. In fact, there wasn't an open seat to try anything on because there were so many people in there. There was one really nice salesguy that I encountered. I was looking at some flats and he came over and told me that most of them had a built-in gel cushions or insoles. He took a moment to show me what he meant, then smiled and walked to someone else. I loved that he didn't stick around by my side and shop with me, much like some other salespeople might. It was just a nice experience that I thought I'd share with you.

We did some shopping here recently to check out some stores such as HMV, Old Navy, Eddie Bauer, Sony Style, and The Source At Circuit City. MicMac is a good size mall, but it was very crowded inside on a Saturday morning and we had to park way out in East Bumf--k. Anyways, we spent a good 90 minutes shopping here. I picked up a few things on sale at Old Navy and Winners and had a good cup of coffee at Perks. Next stop for us was, Downtown Halifax for an afternoon of chill time.

I was working in Halifax the next day, so I took them to the shopping centre to exchange (I was met with excellent customer service, by the way). There weren't any in my size at either location, so they put in an order. A day later I received a SoftMoc coupon in my email for 15% off Birkenstocks. It was a 72 hour coupon. I called the Mic Mac location and asked if my sandals were in because I had this coupon I wanted to apply. My sandals were not in yet. This was a Friday, and I asked the girl if they still shipped on Sundays, to which she replied "no". I asked if I could come in to apply the coupon before the 72 hours were up. She told me "If you come in and explain your situation once the sandals arrive, and how they were defected, we will honour the coupon". So I did not go in that day. I went in on the following Tuesday when my sandals arrived, and explained my situation and what I was told over the phone. The sales rep I spoke to had a wall up before I even began, and did not seem to want to be helpful. The manager came out only to repeat the same thing. I went OUT OF MY WAY due to a defective product, that wasn't noticed by any employees, only to be rejected for something that seems fairly straightforward. Poor customer service :(
