All said and done seems the shirt was finally sent and is being delivered since my query and no recognition of the additional discount but no problems with a $15 delivery fee and a false arrival date. The saleslady assisting us was very nice and patient. Adam must've tried on at least 2-3 different shirts and more than 5 ties. She was also nice enough to steam the shirt before wrapping it up. They have this cool policy in the store where you can try to put a hole in one mini golf style for $95 off a tie for $2 (and the money goes to charity!). Sadly, both Adam and I missed. But I enjoyed playing a lot! Mini put inside a store! I was surprised no one snubbed us as we did look very ordinary. I think once Adam specifically asked to try on a shirt, they loosened up and realized we were going to buy something. That's when they got friendlier and offered us drinks. But I really only liked the lady who helped us, the rest seemed unbothered and lazy.

The good news is that their prices are actually very reasonable for the most part. And I walked in right when they were having tons of deals! The sad part was, none of the clothes I wanted fit right or looked right on me. There were some interesting jackets but I wasn't in a "jacket buying" mood. Now onto the staff. When I first walked in, I couldn't find them. So I looked around and looked around some more and still couldn't find any. I shrugged, thought about how security seems pretty relaxed, then went over to the changing room to try on some of the clothes I would eventually find out didn't fit me right. I did then find staff, but they simply gave me a number and told me where I could go to try on the clothes. They weren't rude and had a pleasant sounding voice. But here is a list of what they didn't say or ask: 1. Can I help you with anything? 2. How did that one fit? 3. Could I get you another one in a different size? 4. How about orange as a color? I never found any staff who were at all interested in me as a customer. I looked around just to check and see if someone else was having better luck but no one was. When I walked by staff they were talking and coordinating with each other. But they simply acted as if there were no customer's in the store. H&M does have some nice products and even though the clothes didn't fit me perfectly, they will fit someone. So they deserve three stars for having a good variety of clothing and having deals from time to time. But two stars are missing because customer service was down right nonexistent aside from someone handing me a number and letting me know where I can get changed.

Even though the women's inventory probably triples what is available for guys, I found that the selection and style was much cooler than the girls. The dressier section of the women's clothes are a little to flashy for my taste, I did pick up a nice grey cardigan which I love because it's not a typical v-neck, and instead it buttons all the way up. Prices vary, some of the more casual clothes are pretty cheap, but the formal selection can be really pricey. This is still a fairly new store so I've found that their sales have been few and far between. Hot Hint: I found a really cool (and durable!) umbrella on sale here. One thing that bugs me is the whacky layout sometimes. Obviously they change the set-up of the store all the time, but during my latest visit, it was completely unclear where to line-up to get rung through as it was a maze of promo tables and bins.

When you first enter the store you'll find yourself faced with tables and tables of adorable nick nacks and homewares to browse though - so many cute mugs and beautiful candles! One day I dream that my home will be filled with them. They've also got journals, books, even a kids gift section. Further back you'll find clothing - men's is on the upper level and women's on the lower. They've also got a killer jewellery section (which is where I've found myself most often drooling over the rings and earrings). I never look closely at the clothing because I don't want to tempt myself (out of my price range), but just glancing at the racks I and tell there are a lot of cute things that I hear are really great quality. From the little bit of browsing I've done the sizes are all pretty small...whomp whomp. In the men's section you'll find wallets, shave kits and some really fun socks in addition to the standard clothing fare. Don't miss out on the back section behind the men's clothing where the sale stuff is! They've always got a good selection of sale things. I really love the idea of shopping at Biscuit General, but unless it's some of the smaller items I just don't have the budget for it. It can get very pricey very quickly. That being said if you have more room in your budget definitely give Biscuit General a shot - it's definitely a local gem!
