I called both mobile RV repair places that advertised in the KOA map. Joe, from ESH Mobile RV returned my call. He was able to schedule us for working on it. He found that the sealant had failed. He was able to pull it off by hand. Also, manufacturer had used self tapping screws, which he was able to pull out by hand. He replaced the loose screws with better ones, cleaned joint properly, and resealed it for us with dicor. Our next door neighbor had a water heater that didn't always work on electric power. He asked Joe to look at it for him. Joe logically tracked it down to a loose neutral in the outlet that the water heater plugged into, plus a burnt connector going to the on off switch. He quickly and efficiently fixed the water heater for my neighbor as well.
