I'm a contractor and I frequently visit AMPMs because my company has a fleet account with Arco. The employee by the name of Rebecca was extremely rude to both my coworker and myself. I asked her "I'm sorry am I bothering you?". Her response was yes. She proceeded to say that what pisses her off is "dealing with customers like you". All the while using profanity towards me in front of customers. I asked ro speak to her manager. She said "I am the manager". I asked who is above her and she said "nobody, god". I highly advise whoever is in charge of this ampm to rethink who you have representing your establishment. This ARCO does SUCK! I experienced some of the things, some of these NEGATIVE reviews, point out about this place: The PUMPS are difficult! The employees are difficult! I needed the receipt for my gas and had to go inside since they never fill the paper at the pump. I had my two babies in the car and the cashier was unhelpful and a jerk. Instead of trying to upsell car wash maybe they should stock the paper outside at the pump which I'm sure is part of their job. read more

Customer service is the worst ever! After getting gas, I got a car wash. The car wash did not activate so I had to go around go in and get a new code and go again. The one I think guy at the register told me it was my fault. I didn't know what I was doing. The manager lady came out that has way too much makeup on and told me that I need to pay attention and do things as I'm told. Customer service is not their big concern here. read more

They have horrible customer service! The cashier took money from my teenager. I sent her in the store with a five dollar bill and the cashier tried to say she gave her a dollar. I just came in to use restroom before I pump gas a get snacks but to my surprise "Natalie" wouldn't let me use bathroom because she said she would have to mop again! Well Isn't that what she is getting paid for? After she said She'll has a restroom. My reply was ok great then She'll will get my business from now on and not you. This gas station is clean. There's lots of room and all the pumps were in working condition. They offer diesel fuel which is a plus. There's also a convenience store and a car wash. I had a good experience here, no complaints! read more

***This review is for restroom use only*** On my way to work, my tummy was giving me trouble. I had to make a quick stop to use the restroom. Ladies room was very clean. Always appreciate well maintained restrooms. Thanks! As I have said in the past, I normally like to return the favor for the provided facilities. Hence, I bought one of my favorite candy bars, Whatchamacallit, "The deliciously crispy Whatchamacallit Candy Bar has a flavor and a name that are impossible to forget." Love my candy bar! =) I wish my #1 favorite candy bar, Mars Candy Bar, would come back to us one day. Just a little background... I don't normally pump Arco gas because many blue moons ago my old Toyota Camry (I don't have this car anymore) wasn't performing well after pumping Arco gas so I stopped using Arco and I haven't gone back to them. I guess it all depends on the car and if it will consume the gas well or not... just like our bodies, we eat certain foods and if they don't sit well, then it's probably not for us... same analogy! Car or human body... it's a vehicle that needs the right nutrients LOL. Anyway, Arco, you came to the rescue when I needed you most even if it was for a restroom stop. Thank you Arco! I ran over here for a quick gas stop. The pumps were all in good repair. It was well lit. I felt safe here. I went to use their restrooms and it was very clean and in good repair as well. Yay. This was a successful stop and I'm so glad things went so smoothly. read more

I tried five different pumps. Only one of accepted the card that I put in, and then that specific pump was jammed, so it wouldn't let any fuel in my car. This gas station looks nice, but is the total opposite of nice. I have no complaints about the inside of the AMPM, just the actual pumps. read more

Not much to say here but the obvious: this is a huge gas station. Located right off the 210 and across an Inn-N-Out (almost stopped for a double double lol) this Arco is easily accessible. There 16 pumps here so you aren't likely to wait to pump gas. Inside, the am/pm was very clean and well stocked and I appreciate how well lit the entire place was. read more

They charge $2 to access the air for tires if you don't purchase gas at the same time. I've filled up here several times, but today, all I needed was air and they refused. I thought there was a law that they had to provide air free of charge? Guess I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

Getting there: This Arco is located right off the 210 fwy, so if you're close to E and you need somewhere to stop quick (which was my case), this will do. Experience: It's really crowded, but I was also there at peak time. The gas prices were a little high as well. Not sure if that was because its Upland or that's just how gas prices are right now. Don't ever get your car wash here! The night manager is horrible!!! I paid for the ten dollars the works cars wash and I noticed that the "rainbow" wash did NOT come on. I walked in and explained to the manager what happened and he claims that the wash is the same, but the color of the "rainbow conditioning bath" doesn't matter; it's still the same soap. My point to him was that I've used their services in the past and each and every time the "rainbow conditioning bath" color soap comes on and that's why I pay for the extra and if the color doesn't matter why specifically call it "rainbow conditioning bath"?!! They have lost my business over a stupid soap. All I wanted was a couple of dollars back since the rainbow conditioning bath was not working. The manager was rude and disrespectful. read more

After paying for the "Special" wash @ $12, I drive to the wash & notice that the roof roller brush didn't even touch the hood of my truck or windshield. It was spinning intermittently & just drug over my roof. When I went in to complain, the manager just said, "Yes, it seems to do that with large raised trucks. I'll call to get it adjusted". Huh? Went to a pump, didn't work. Had to move to another pump. No credit cards, debit only. Charge 35 cents to use debit card. Chased out of store by two very rude employees because it was "shift change" and they had to close up and shut down all of the pumps. WHAT? I've never heard of that before and I drive all over the country. I got gas yesterday at $6.09 gallon. Less than 24 hrs it is now $6.29! You won't play me for a fool... just because you're at the freeway does not mean I have to pay your high pricing. Horrible customer service. Hopefully, it was just that 1 coworker and everyone else talks to their customers with respect and kindness. Lovely(sarcasm) Jolene was the worker who took my call. She was so helpful and made me feel appreciated since we consumers help her have a job. I used their drive-thru car wash like I always do since moving to Alta Loma. Unfortunately, human error I backed up a little bit because my front end of my vehicle wasn't getting hit by the dryer...according to lovely Jolene it's self explanatory ( with a giggle like I'm stupid) it will turn off. I asked if there was a sign that states that. Her response was " there's rules and states to drive forward thru the dryer" well that's obvious. But, doesn't state " backing up will turn dryer off". I guess miss Jolene thinks I got my Bachelors in the mechanics of car washing. Because, I don't think she actually thinks we consumers know how their system work. I use other drive-thru car washing services and have backed up a bit and the dryer has never turned off on me. I understand it was my fault. I wasn't rude when I called and even told the truth ( could have lied and made them have to look into their system but as considerate person I didn't). Jolene was very rude and was talking to me like I was stupid! Again, I wasn't rude and didn't appreciate miss Jolene talking to me as if I'm stupid. Like, I always say, you don't like your job theirs plenty of other jobs that may make you happy. I can afford another wash at another place but frustrating that I have to go out of my way with 3 kids (1 being a fussy infant) because of the lack of customer service. Even, my 5 year old said " she wasn't nice mommy! She didn't talk to you nicely" so thank you for the teaching moment. I had just put $45 worth of gas and went into the store to get a cup full of ice for my water jug. The rude cashier insisted that they charged 54 cents for ice. Was not paying attention and ran out of gas literally 100 yards from this gas station. Walk in asked if they had a gas can I could borrow for a couple minutes. They said they had one but I couldn't borrow it and that came from the manager. I offered to leave my wallet with all my credit cards, bank card and drivers license. She said I could buy a gas can. They were only one gallon and cost 16 dollars. I walked out and called AAA. Me and my family have been regular customers since it opened. Frequent here for the "AMPM" morning snack runs prior to the long trip to DTLA. The fact that it's Arco sucks when pumping gas as I cannot reap the credit-card points, rather its debit + a debt fee. Good thing about this location is that it's secluded, yet they're always busy and its one of the only stations near the 210 for distance within the city(s). Absolute garbage car wash. Garbage night shift manager. The car wash left soap all over my car and they gave me another car wash just so it could do it all over again. I stood outside and had an argument with the night shift manager and he didn't care that he was yelling at me and telling me not to come for the car wash if I wanted something spectacular. What an idiot, that's not the point! I am never ever ever coming back here for gas or anything else and I will make sure to tell everybody I know on all of my social media about this HORRIBLE gas station with a rude night shift manager. I purchased our car wash and the car wash machine did not work properly. I followed the instructions and while in the process of my car being washed, the soap and water only sprayed on the back half of my car Then completely stopped in the middle of the wash. I saw the manager come out through my rearview mirror to get the car wash going again. The car wash started up again still doing the same thing only washing the back half of my car. I proceeded through the drying process and then parked my car to go inside of the gas station to report the issue. As I approach the line, the manager waved me over to where he was standing behind a register and proceeded to yell at me waving his finger at my face accusing me of taking the car wash of the customer behind me. He kept yelling he had it on video so I asked to see the video. As he was queuing up the video, he continued to yell at me for taking another customers car wash. All of this happened in front of other employees and customers so another employee had to intervene. I tried to show them the video of the front of end of my car that was still dirty and the video showing that the machine was only washing the back half of my car. The manager refused to listen and continued yelling at me. He would not acknowledge that the machine was not working properly and would not honor a refund or another credit for a car wash. This was horrible customer service. The manager needs more customer training so this does not happen to another patron of the gas station. read more
