Car wash review: The machine is out dated and in poor condition which results in a ineffective car wash. The most irritating thing with this car wash was when the drying cycle was going one of the water nozzles was faulty sprinkling water on the car when it was supposed to be off. My car was just as dirty as when I brought it. Wasted $8 If you just need a quick spray down and on the go this may be ok for you. If you're looking for an actual wash you'll have to hit up another place.. read more

Got gas here. Bathroom is not the cleaniest at all. Staff is OK and not as friendly. Some of the pumps are out of service so if you are in a rush to get gas you will have to wait or drive around to find a pump that works. The window washing liquid is never clean and always dirty. It is like putting dirty water on your windshield and you have no idea what's in that water. Gas prices are going up so I just get my gas quickly and leave. read more

I am going to have to agree with many who left the review for this place... Arco has always been my go to gas station needs. I feel that Arco has the most competitive and best quality gas compared to other companies. I started coming to this specific location when I moved to Arcadia. The location is fairly large and can take up many cars compared to the smaller Arco locations nearby. This Arco has upgraded the payment method at the pump where you can now tap using your phone or your cards. When it comes to customer service, there is a problem. I feel that every single time I go I am always given attitude by the female employees. I have notice that they ID certain people where others they don't. It is kind of disturbing due to the fact that it seems as if they are profiling a certain group of individuals. I have had my fair share of being ID to pay with my credit card depending on how I dress for the day. I believe that everyone should be ID'd if this is a standard procedure. The guy that works there is cool. Overall, I have steered away from going inside of the store. I feel that with a little bit of customer service training and kindness this Arco will have a much higher rating. Overall 2/5. read more

Service has gotten a lot worse since I originally came here. They used to be so nice the hispanic lady over the counter would always smile and ask me about my day. She was great to make transactions with. Recently the past few times I went there the gentlemen at the counter have been rude and careless. They don't even make eye contact when asking what I want. Crappiest brushless wash EVER. I don't usually use automated washes on my car but if I do - it's brushless and I detail my car myself after. Being a cloudy lazy day I decided to wash my car and detail after - with low expectations. This wash did not meet my lowest expectations. I've used these exact types before and must say there is something about this one that one that makes it the lamest ever. Lots of rinse, vet very little soap. The water is hard and you better hand dry your car after or you'll get water spots baked in by the California sun. I should have just used my garden hose. read more

FRAUD ALERT!!!! On May 30, 2020 at 9:28:04PM I went to get gas at this station. I went inside to pay with my debit card. There were a female and a male. The male did my payment transaction for $20 worth of gas. Then at 9:34:00PM, I received an email from my bank account for a FRAUD ALERT that someone requested a withdraw from my debit for $100.35 in ARCO at IRWINDALE ($100 is the requested amount and $0.35 is for the debit card fee). I live 45 minutes away that's why my bank alerted me. The management team there need to rewind the camera to confirm that their team member is committing a fraud. The male cashier needs to be fired and reported to the police. I will be reporting this incident. Consumers, please be very careful when using their business there!!! read more

Not the best gas prices in downtown but it is the most convenient place in South Park, Downtown Los Angeles. If you need to air don't feed the machine 4 quarters. Just ask the attendant and they'll usually give you free tokens, especially if they recognize you. read more

This is the Arco by my house that I frequent. It's not too crowded, and it's generally cheaper than the others around Arcadia and Monrovia. One time as I way going in to pay for gas, this guy runs in and screams that someone took off with his truck. *wow* But I've never had a problem personally here, but take note of the area just in case. read more

Tried out their car wash...and it was not that good. I feel like I totally wasted my money, unfortunately, but I will not be using this service ever again. It left globs of wax (I think) all over my car. When I got home I did my best to remove them, but they had already dried fairly well...if I had to go somewhere important it would of been impossible to take care of the situation. read more

A lot of people in line-busy Sunday with people getting a car wash. Went in after gas up to use the rest room and to get a drink. Cashier clerk stopped what she was doing closed her register and followed me around so obviously as I got a drink, put condiments on my hotdog and got some zingers. When I went to check out-she came up opened her register and took the people who were waiting in line before me. Ran into an incompetent cashier tonight. Gave him $40 for gas then $5 for car wash, asking him about my $1 car wash discount. He told me to pump my gas 1st he needs receipt to give me discount. After I pumped my gas he had to type a receipt to give my $1 back. I told him I want a deluxe wash not basic. He said once he typed the receipt I can't upgrade. So he handed me $1 back. Specifically speaking for the mini-mart, there's a huge selection of drinks and junk food to choose from. HOT COFFEE ISN'T ONE OF THEM. Your average Arco gas station. Prices are generally good compared to other gas station chains, however this one seems to be a few cents more than other area Arco stations. Every time I come here, because it's nearby to the 605 freeway and it is cheap, there's something wrong. Either the pay machine is not accepting cash or a credit card or both, the nozzle is broken, they don't have paper for the machine to give you a receipt, you name it, is has been a problem. On top of the low functioning and low quality machines, you get terrible service inside. I've gotten the wrong change, I've been double charged, and the worst is this one woman who is not only incompetent but rude. read more

I've been a good and loyal customer for 30 plus years,and have only once before noticed the gas sales # change by a few cents. But today ON 10/10/16 AT 7:30 Ish, I bought 35.57 worth of gas. I hung up the pump. but couldn't find my gas cap. By the time I got done putting the gas cap on. the price changed to 40.00 and some change.
