Two minutes is a perfectly reasonable amount of time to make a purchase. I've dealt with this employee before, and he is consistently rude and unfriendly. There are plenty of other places to go where customers are actually treated with basic respect.

Talked to the attendant and she asked if I had the membership QR code on my phone and if it was registered, which I did and it was. She showed me the QR scanner next to the swipe card reader. A few moments later I'm fueled up and on to the next errand. Have the local membership desk help if you get stuck. Downloading the Costco app to your phone is just the first step to leveling up. You also need the digital membership card synched with your online Costco profile. Once updated, your'll have another digital tool at your disposal. Gas prices are hot garbage in the big 2026, especially in this part of California which is a dollar plus over the national average. I showed my statement but since it said pending, they would not give me a wash. They wanted me to purchase another wash and if I was charged for the first one in the next three days, then they will give me a refund. But I'm not from the area so that will be useless. I'm disappointed with the loss of my $11 and no car wash.
