Walked inside to pay, and the cashier by the name of Ira was the sweetest human being that I have met in a very long time. He was efficient, fast, helpful, kind and very HUMBLE! Hard to find people like him these days. Honestly, one of the best gas stations that I have been to and done a review on. We even had some small talk about different things. The tiny mini mart was very well maintained, clean, inside and outside of the gas station. Fully stocked. Had few snacks, beverages and a full load of drinks that had just come in. He apologized for the mess, when it wasn't even messy. I also needed to clean my windows and there was plenty of soap and water inside both buckets. Trash was empty, and the gas prices are a bit on the lower end. The pump I used was #9. All the pumps were working fine, and there were probably 10 pumps all together in the gas station. Usually around that time, trash and the station along with the mini mart is not clean. Well, this one was... Oh, they even have a bathroom that they allow everyone to use, unlike other places/gas stations... Next time I am in the area, this will definitely be my go-to gas station. The Denny's across the street is possible one of the least enjoyable in the area, so this intersection of businesses (mainly on the corners) leaves a lot to be desired. I take my scratcher and he can't even scan the barcode on the protein bar so I tell him to forget it all. I walk back in to see him helping the next person with a hand full of winning scratchers. Normally I don't get that kind of greeting at any Gas Station. He was curt, a bit dry. A man of 2 words. Didn't like that. My pump # was 4. and I don't understand why there should be a 0.35 cent fee. Nobody knows. Not even the employees. It's not the quarter plus the dime. It's the principal. Regardless whether you pay cash or card. Needed to clean my windshield and the rest of the windows, but there was barely any soap and water in their bucket. The gas station wasn't very clean, and the trash was half full. I normally pay it on my credit card and the station by my house right now let's me do that for $3.69 a gallon. Naturally, I've been driving around wondering why gas prices vary so much- when someone let me know about paying cash, I decided to try it out! I don't know why, but I was prepared for the worst at USA Gasoline. As a generation X kid, I don't know if I've ever had a human interaction getting gas- luckily for me that streak is ongoing (our world is socially doomed, I know.) They have prepay gas machines outside where you just pick your pump number and pay there, before going to pump your gas. It was super easy! I don't know how it would change things if you didn't need a full tank- obviously there's not much of a change system, but today I needed a full tank- and I got it for $30!! Seriously, I'm not one to be very stingy- but like I say, I pay $3.69 a gallon by my house and I payed $3.21 a gallon at USA Gasoline. I'd say it's definitely worth running your tank low and paying cash!
