There's a service center here that is full service, but I came for an oil change since I saw good reviews online. It was a bit uncommon to go to a gas center service center, but I'm glad I did. The service here was too notch and prices very reasonable. They let me bring my own oil and filter which some shops won't do (I get oil changes aren't big on profit, but if people trust you they will come back for major repairs). They've suffered a bit in business due to the recent wildfires so happy to support a good local business. Will bring both vehicles here. read more

Long overdue review. I've been coming to this gas station for years not so much for the gas but for the mechanic! Avo and his team are extremely efficient, fair, and kind. Every time I've needed something done they get it done so quickly, are extremely communicative, and charge fairly. Today I had a low pressure tire signal and was concerned about my tires and they took a look immediately at no cost. If I have to ever pick up the car after hours they leave the keys with the gas station attendant. My in laws have come here for years and so glad we started coming too. We didn't stop by to purchase gas but to wipe my dirty windshield. Thank goodness they have a windshield wiper and paper towels so I could see much better while I was driving. Since I made the pit stop I went in to buy a Lottery Scratcher ticket. read more

I have a good mechanic, and I don't get smog checks enough to really care... So with that in mind, I'm specifically looking at the gas station aspects of this gas station. As far as I'm concerned, gasoline as a state and federally regulated product doesn't have enough variation in it for me to worry about different additives, marketing campaigns, or other schtick... Particularly if you're purchasing gasoline at a major company. All that to say, price is absolute king. It is actually pretty incredible how much the price of gasoline can vary from corner to corner, even within a city. Somehow, Chevron and Mobil stations sent their prices $.25-$.40 higher than Arco in Pasadena. If you're purchasing a single gallon of gasoline, it probably doesn't matter where you go. However, if you are like most of us and wait until you absolutely have to fill up your tank to get the job done, Arco gas station is probably your best bet. They only take cash or debit card, and with the latter, charged a $.35 convenience fee. If you purchase north of 20 gallons like I do for my truck, this breaks down to a per gallon cost of like 2 cents. Do the math, and you'll see that this is the best deal, considering competitor stations are that $.25-$.40 higher per gallon! This particular article has a very small convenience store and checkout counter, as well as some garage and smog check facilities. It is sort of off the beaten path, and a more or less residential neighborhood. But, if you're leaving the Eaton Canyon area or just a local going to pretty way to Hastings Ranch, give them a try. read more

Gas pump is filling but not running properly as $ 75 for for 1/2 tank gas compact. Cheating obviously. Go somewhere else.

Some of the cheapest prices for brand name gas in the Pasadena area. The 35 cent debit card charge comes to only about 2 cents a gallon. The self serve air compressor for tires is usually 75 cents, but it's free with gas purchase. It's rarely busy. Usually I can pull up to a tank and start pumping right away. read more

My truck had broken down and I managed to roll it over to the gas station, it had trouble starting. I had the mechanic take a look at it and it was a very simple easy fix, he grabbed a zip tie and tied two loose wires together and fixed the issue within 2 minutes. I basically needed new spark plugs and an old wire replaced. He didn't charge me for it at all, which was extremely gracious, most mechanics would never do that. Support these guys! read more

Start with change the side mirror the next thing I have Avo he is the Manager changing all 4 new tires did alignment and change 2rear brakes. I payed cash inside the cashier her name is Destiny was busy talking to a friend or a colleague. I had to interrompre their conversation to get her attention. When I tried to put gas there was a leek I went back to let her know She was very rude about it she yelled that she is busy with a customer very rudely I told her im a customer too she kept me waiting I had to tell her that that's the worst customer service ever!!!! This review only reflects on the young Armenian gentleman at the cashier. He seems to have an attitude with every customer that comes in and it only gets worse with each subsequent customer. His manner is a blunt and rude, somebody ought to tell him to chill out. read more

This is a good gas station. It sucks that Arco doesn't take credit cards though. I think they have a little mechanic shop behind/attached to this place. Never been there. I mostly like this place because there are never any lines.They sell a few drinks and random snacks inside but it is a very small place. Not a full AM/PM or 7/11. No ice or booze. :( read more

This gas station is awesome! We have brought our cars here when we have flat tires or low air in tires and they have checked them quickly and efficiently. They have cheap gas, but that's all. They don't take credit cards and you get screwed if you use your debit card, I did it twice and each time I got double billed. If you use your card, check your bank account, just to be on the safe side. Go there if you have enough cash, otherwise go somewhere else and pay a little bit more, it's not worth the hassle read more

Drove in with no appt and was greeted by friendly and attentive mechanics. They diagnosed the problem on the spot and replaced my brakes and routers in 1 hour. They had a line of cars waiting to be serviced, yet they were able to accommodate me as they are organized and well staffed. They were honest and fair with pricing.
