When I pulled up to the pumps, I noticed that everything was sparkling clean. When I went in to pay for the gas, I used the restroom, and it was so clean I could not believe it. ARCO - Gas Stations Near Me - Centralia, Washington

I work late and sometimes I don't get the chance to grocery shop so ill go to the gas station to get something small to eat for the night since every grocery store is closed by then. Every single time I have come in during 1am - 3am there is a worker there that is a complete ass. The other week i went in there and he stared the whole time at me and when I went to pay for my things he says "finally you're done" all rude and stared even as i was leaving the store acting like i was stealing. I come in tonight and right as I came up to the door he says "you have ten minutes till the day is over" all rude as if i know what the fuck that means like just say you are closing. Then proceeds to unlock the door and repeat himself even louder and treat me like Im stupid. If you are closed thats fine ill take myself elsewhere, I am not an entitled customer let alone a thief who will throw a fit if I don't get what I want. Im now pissed because I have felt I have done nothing to be treated as such. read more

Stop by to get gas. Went inside to grab some quick bite and saw bbq rib sandwich sign 2 for 2.22. i wasnt that hungry so grabbed one only. Cashier said $2.42... So i asked if i grabbed two is it 2.22? He said yes.. but he already rang it up so it was too late. I asked can i just grab one more if it is the same price? And he said no it was too late. Cheap gas, cash only, relatively clean bathroom. There's not much to say about an Arco, other than that I usually don't patronize them for the inconvenience of not taking credit cards. However when I was in Centralia and in need of gas, this was the most convenient station (nearby the last Burgerville on the way to Seattle). The fact that it's cheaper is also nice too. I'd definitely stop here in the future, but the annoying debit-surcharge might drive me away. read more

Convenient spot to grab gas on the drive between Seattle and Portland. It's only a couple of exits away from a rest stop, so hold off on using the restroom here and just go to the rest stop instead (it's a much cleaner situation). Other than that, the gas prices here are quite cheap, and it's literally right off the highway, so it doesn't get easier than this to satisfy your gas-guzzling vehicle. read more

If you just need a cheap fill-up this ARCO maybe okay, but owner does not provide windshield cleaning equipment and does not fix or maintain restrooms. As a proud Centralian, I was unhappy to see out-of-state folks sent off with no advise on where to find a restroom. Several pumps are often out-of-order which makes getting in line or weaving in and out for a working pump which can be dangerous if folks aren't patient. Looks like some up grading is in the works. If traveling any distant your stop may be more comfortable if you pay a few cents more for gas and go to a full service station. read more

Prices weren't bad and they're right off the highway so it's convenient. Unfortunately the bathrooms were atrocious and when I needed a receipt for my gas the printer wasn't working. Being in the senior citizen catagory, I remember the Atlantic/Richfield stations of yesteryear. They had "service" stations where the employees actually did some service for the customer. The newest form of the stations is ARCO. I used to go to ARCO most of the time because they were all over the place and priced the gas a few cents under almost everybody else's. With the advent of the "convience" fee for the use of your debit card, the gas is no longer among the least expensive. On a 10 gallon fill up, this fee adds 4.5cents per gallon on the fee of 45 cents per use. Now, we are not talking about stopping world hunger, but in my humble opinion, what a cheesy way to raise the price of thier gas.Given the number of stations across America, this amounts to a very big jump in revenue for them. Too bad they couldn't just be honest and just say sorry folks, we have to bump up the prrice to stay competitive. Not that it matters to them, they lost me as a customer. Maybe I was,t a customer, but a part time unpaid employee who had to pump my own gas, check my own oil and clean my own windows. I haven't talked to an ARCO employee since I started using my debit card. read more
