Came by this location the other day for a fill up and it was a decent experience. Pay at the pump is available to help save time and is convenient. Paper towels and squeegees were also available. However, paper inside pay-at-the-pump was out...resulting in a visit to the attendant for a receipt... Gas pump appeared to be in good working condition and staff was friendly in uniform and name tag. ...almost all pumps seemed to have been in use due to this station being a good 45-50 cents cheaper than nearby stations! I was at the pump and I kept clicking on gas 89 but the pump automatically went to the higher gas 91 and I told the people there three times and it kept doing the same exact thing. All the employees said was it's better for your engine. In the end I paid a little over $10 extra it's not a lot of money but it's the principle. The only problem with that is the huge crowds that seem to flock to this gas station. This location isn't the cleanest around. It can be quite grungy outside with big sticky puddles from people dropping drinks. A nice power washing would really help this place. Keep your eyes open for the wandering homeless guys. There's a few wandering around from time to time, but I've never been approached. The workers inside have always been friendly. The lines can move pretty slowly though. Especially in the morning before work. Be on the look out for energy drink sales form time to time. If that's your thing. They sometimes have great deals on red bulls. Be forewarned, if you go here you need to be on your toes and aware of other cars trying to score a spot at the gas pump...it can and will get ugly. The only other gas that's cheape r is G&M off Brookhurst and Broadway, but I think that gas jinxed my car. I tried G&M one weekend and the following Monday my gas pump went out. This has got to be one of the worst gas stations that has issues with coupons. They do not have coupons EVER stored in the register. They have the Marlboro mobile coupons advertisements everywhere but when you go to use it, again you get "it's not programmed" so you lose one of your coupons for the week. Thank goodness the staff is nice but really OWNER/MANAGER let's get with it. Coupon companies reimburse you anyways why does it matter to take them. read more
