Innovative Media Systems replaced the components for a decent price and got the speaker working again. However, after I got it home there were still problems with the speaker. It would occassionaly overheat and shutoff. At first, I was upset that I had paid to fix this speaker and was wishing I had just bought a new one. But, to their credit they repaired it again for free. The speaker has been working like new for over three months now.

Also they sometimes have selections of guitars and basses that others don't have so it's worth calling to ask if they have it in stock. The biggest selections is Fender and PRS. They also have a good selection of Yamaha, Ibanez, Alvarez, Taylor and Martin. Then some other brands sometimes make their way there. I was lucky to find a Sterling Sting Ray HH4. I am tempted to buy a few PRS core models from them.

A small selection of sheet music (Jonas Brothers and Hanna Montana -- teens still the focus), guitar strings, reeds and the like can be found. All-in-all, Pontones is an a-ok music shop. I was disappointed to find that the store actually only sells saxophones and other woodwind instruments. As I understand it, though, the shop deals mostly in vintage saxophones. That makes this place hard to beat if you're into that sort of thing. The owner told me that folks like me stop in all of the time -- people looking for stringed instruments. So just for us guitar geeks, Junkdude carries a small selection of guitar strings. No guitars, just strings. I felt embarrassed and bought some.
