My favorite part of it was looking at the old books that had beautiful bindings and leather covers. They have great prices for the books that you get and some of the titles there were relatively recent. Because they are used books I wouldn't expect any new releases to be there but you could find some great classics at a great price! The organization is a little bit confusing, but if you look up, there are a ton of signs everywhere directing you to each genre and certain authors. The service was super great as well, and we were welcome as soon as we walked in by multiple employees. Will definitely be bringing my cousin and boyfriend back eventually as it has some great items.

We were hit with an Aroma of freshly brewed coffee, and everything looked nice and organized. They had a section with toys and we looked through the toys and eventually moved to the back where the kids section was. It was immaculately out together and they had some really great books on display! My son was so intrigued by all the different options and grabbed a few books to read for a bit. I just loved the organization and the cute decorations. It was hard to leave when we finally did, but we'll def be back to this location!

I wasn't looking for a used bookstore but I was in the Central Avenue area…read more(lots of eclectic restaurants!) and just happened to drive around the strip mall that this used bookstore is in. I thought, well then, I can buy a used book or two to gift as a holiday gift. I always want to support the underdog, especially a used bookstore just before the holidays. Well, I didn't find any book that I wanted to give to anyone as a holiday gift but I found a used CD audiobook (Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson) for just eight bucks! I have a CD player in my car. So glad that I happened to find this place!

I think it's like 'Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory' for book readers. Just an amazing array of all kinds of books of literally every subject both old and rare to almost brand new. The owner Lee was lovely and introduced herself and we enjoyed a good chat about favorite books. Another thing that makes this space so special is the kitties who run the store... books and cats - I'm in heaven!

Besides a focus on mystery and thrillers, they really had most genres covered. Most of the books here ... and they claim tens of thousands of books ... are used, and are generally on consignment from somebody. So quality varies, and you might find two copies of something in very different conditions and at matching price points. That being said, the selection was exceptional and well worth investigating. The Book Rack had an especially large selection of kids books ... which was great for us. The only downside of some of these large holdings is that they aren't all classified and organized. Sometimes a certain genre will just be stacked in crates or boxes ... but don't let that dissuade you. There are treasures to be found here. If you like books and enjoy the hunt, this place is for you. Recommended.

I brought two books on house plants and planting in containers. I couldn't find any pies making or pound cakes baking books that were on my list but I emailed them to today to ask if any of these are available. They replied right away. Even though they didn't have the books I wanted. The customer service was great. They're willing to reserve these books if those come in. As another reviewer wrote, they seemed judgmental of those of us coming from Charlotte to visit as part of the Charlotte Book Crawl. The process was super easy. I went partly in hopes of finding a used copy of a novel my Book Club has been wanting to read, but isn't at the library. I had never been to this book store until the sale. It's small, but there's such a good selection of used books. The used books are also in really good shape. The team member on site the day we went was GREAT! He took the time to assist us in looking for books on our lists and giving us recommendations for other books to read. I purchased a brand new book for an Investment Planning course I took recently which was published…read moreby the American College. The book was approximately $160 for a brand new copy of the the textbook. On yesterday when I returned the book to recoup part of the cost, I was insulted when they told me that I would only receive $6 from their buy back program. This American College publication book was a problematic purchase at every level. It was not only hard to comprehend by most students in my class, but to then be told I would only receive about 4% of the cost of this required text just added to my personal insult. I have sold several books back to this store and have had to deal with the personnel there. Do not expect a high level of competency or professionalism from the personnel there. I will not be buying from them again. Use another resource please. Amazon can usually deliver in 2 days if you need a hard copy of a textbook​.
