Scam. I am currently suing them in the court. I paid them the deposit to build a pergola and they never come back or answer my calls/emails.

Mike communicated with me frequently and was readily available when I had questions. Top notch in customer service, quality, and pricing for a fantastic patio cover installation. It turned out exactly the way I wanted. I had the patio pad extended by 4 feet and wanted a seamless look from the roof to the cover. Must haves were ceiling fans, lights and an additional outlet installed. RezComm did a great job, thanks guys!

DELAYS, FALSE REPRENSENTATIONON, AND POOR COMMUNICATION!!!! NOT RECOMMENDATED!!! In July 2025, we…read moreadvertised a construction job on Yelp to enclose our existing back porch with two walls of windows from floor to ceiling and an eight' sliding glass door. In essence, we wanted it to turn it into a modern-looking sunroom. They were confident they could build it, so we contracted with them to do it as soon as we had HOA approval and obtained a city building permit. They required 50% payment upfront so they could special-order the custom windows and door. After we obtained HOA approval, Mike Davis came to our house and said they can't build it per the contract drawing and tried to persuade us to accept something that had almost as much solid walls as windows, no transom windows, and no more floor to ceiling windows, but with material you could buy from almost any home improvement store. His reasoning was the transom windows would not fit even though he put them on the contract diagram we had all approved. Also, the proposed windows would be narrower and would not be floor to ceiling saying the city building code wouldn't allow it. He also said they could not get the color window frames we wanted, and the frames would be vinyl instead of aluminum as promised. Most of his excuses were found to be incorrect. It was not what we contracted for them to do. This upset us very much and we told his business partner this was probably breach of contract and we wanted our money back so we could hire a different contractor. After we rejected his cheap imitation of what we wanted, we found out his business applied for a building permit with his new drawing, not the contract drawing, and not what the HOA had approved and without our approval. Afterwards, and months of negotiations, they hired a SUBcontractor to do the job. A design with floor to ceiling windows with a large eight' sliding glass door. After many delays, in mid November 2025, the subcontractor installed the sliding glass door and windows. Everything was acceptable except for the screen doors that didn't fit well and had a hole rubbed in the screen. The SUBcontractor said he would have the manufacturer replace the screen doors and would return and install them within 2 weeks. Razcomm was paid in full the following day. In the meantime, it rained and water flooded into the house under the window frame. This was reported to Jason, the business partner, to relay to the subcontractor to fix. The subcontractor never returned to do anything. According to Jason, the subcontractor would not respond to his texts. Finally, after months of requesting every other week for someone to fix the leak and the screens, Mike came and put caulk under the frame to stop it from leaking. He said he would fix the hole in the screen but never returned. He and Jason were blaming everything on subcontractor, but our contract is with Razcomm--not the subcontractor. As of today, their website on google could not be reached and neither Mike nor his business partner answer texts or email from us.

Pros: The remodel is finally over. Tile demolition began on…read more4/8/26 and the project was not completed until 5/28/26--nearly two months later. David originally quoted a three-week timeline. Cons: DFW Pool Experts subcontracts every phase of the project, leaving the owner with little control over the crews. Workers frequently took long breaks, urinated in our yard, and left tools and equipment scattered around our property, including over weekends. Communication was extremely poor. David only contacted us when requesting payment or after we raised concerns about delays and workmanship. Most payments were required before completion, leaving little leverage when issues arose. The crew repeatedly tripped our breakers while using damaged extension cords. Rather than addressing the problem, David blamed our home's electrical system. Workers damaged our pool and spa lights, grouted over our smart water-fill spigot, and damaged the autofill system. It took two weeks to schedule a repair. After an eight-hour visit, the lights still did not work and the entire pool system was left inoperable for more than 48 hours. A second electrician eventually fixed the issue. David later attempted to charge us $350 for repairs caused by his own contractor wiring the system incorrectly. We had to remind David that replacing the mastic was included in our contract. He initially tried to charge us an additional $600-$700 until we provided a copy of the signed agreement. When the work was finally completed, the quality was poor and sand was left in the pool. There was no final walkthrough or inspection. On 6/4/26, after several days of no communication, David called only to request the final payment of $500 and asked us to mail the check. The finished product was disappointing. The pool now has two large white streaks running from the autofill to the deep end drain because a rock was placed on the autofill instead of turning it off. Visible trowel marks and imperfections remain throughout the pool surface. Our Polaris cleaner was left disassembled beside the pool, and demolition debris remained in the pool after cleanup. Overall, this was the worst remodeling experience we have ever had. Between the delays, poor communication, property damage, attempts to charge us for contractor mistakes, and disappointing workmanship, we DO NOT recommend DFW Pool Experts. Zero stars.

Update: After posting my initial review, the company said they would reach out to resolve the…read moreissues described below, but no resolution occurred. Instead, I was contacted about the impact of my review on their rating. When I followed up via text and email asking how the workmanship issues could be addressed, I did not receive further responses. I hired this company to build a concrete patio and walkway. Based on my experience, the work was not done in a way I was satisfied with, and I regret this decision. Within about a month of completion, I began seeing cracks in the concrete, and it has not yet been three months since the patio was built. Before the project began, I informed them that I had an in-ground sprinkler system and asked whether lines would need to be rerouted or removed. I was told they would cap the lines and ensure no water flowed beneath the concrete. After the pour, I observed that active sprinkler pipes remained under the slab, with valve boxes left embedded in the concrete that I cannot access. This meant I had no way to shut off water beneath the concrete. Based on my understanding and subsequent consultations, I was concerned that leaving pressurized water lines under the slab could lead to soil washout, settling, cracking, and difficult repairs requiring the concrete to be broken. I ultimately hired an irrigation company to shut off the water supply under the concrete and install drainage piping so rainwater could flow away from the slab. I also experienced drainage and grading issues. After rain, water puddles on the concrete and accumulates around it. Professionals I consulted advised that correcting the slope properly may require removing and re-pouring the slab. So, I hired some other people to fix that as well. Aesthetically, the results were also disappointing. I was told the new concrete would match the existing concrete, but it does not. The old slab was left in place, creating a visible and permanent mismatch, and the height between the old and new concrete near my AC unit was not aligned. Overall, based on my personal experience, important details were missed that I believe should have been addressed before any concrete was poured. I would not choose this company again.

If you don't have the time and are shopping around for professional and talented backyard living... GO WITH THIS BUSINESS. My experience: I was shopping around for some backyard living in the middle of November with no luck as it's almost Christmas. I got in touch with Matt and he personally came out to give me an estimate since one of his crew members was in an accident. He was kind, honest and genuine. We then scheduled our future patio. In a few weeks, I was unable to get a hold of Matt which was concerning as he was always so reliable and quick to respond. Turns out, he had a personal emergency that he had to take care of. He *still* took the time to email me, apologize for the delay, and get me rescheduled. He was incredibly kind and extremely reliable. Even throughout his personal emergency, he made me feel like a VIP client. I respected him as a professional, but I began respecting him as an individual. I got my beautiful stamped, stained patio in 2 days right in time for Christmas. They offer law enforcement discounts, and many financing options available. We were even able to split up the payments with no issues. His contract was clear with no surprise fees. There was even a communication issues between him and the crew and they needed to add an additional 3 feet. Matt told me personally that this will not change the price as we already have a contract. Being married to a law enforcement officer, I am use to seeing the sad and ugly of people and often believe companies are only profit based, not client based. However, I would personally work for this company and happily promote it to anyone I come in contact with! Every person I encountered was kind and respectful - especially as I was home alone a lot. As a teacher myself, I do not have a lot of disposable income. I believe that my money should support good people with good businesses. If you believe the same, and want high quality work done with unlimited customizable options, this is your company. This company will be the only company I go through for any outdoor work. Seriously, amazing. Thank you for all you've done, Matt and crew. I am beyond grateful to know you!
