Once in the store, I was able to receive service. After scheduling an appointment we received a quote to replace the tile in our master bath. We were ready to move forward until we read the contract. The terms of the Good Guys Flooring contract were unreasonable. Per the contract, an upfront payment of 75% is required. Cancellation would result in the loss of up to 50% of the deposit. We requested that a start date and date of completion be added to the contract before we would sign. Without a date, the company could delay our project indefinitely and keep our money after we got tired of waiting. The store representative stated that he needed to speak to the manager regarding our concerns. We never heard from him again. Eventually, the DocuSign contract was canceled. I guess there is such a thing as having more business than you can handle.

Others were somewhat similar in pricing, but we felt Bruce was our best bet after meeting him and listening to him explain what they needed to do. They came out a few months back and supposedly fixed the roof but the exact same leak is occurring. The company claims to guarantee labor for 10 years; however, we have been struggling to get the company to come back and fix the roof. They repeatedly lie about their intention to come and then don't show up and don't even bother to call to let us know they are not coming. Update: Top Roofing Solutions indicated that our problem was so severe that we would need to redo the entire roof and would be better off with another company. I filed a complaint with the BBB and they ruled in my favor (feel free to look it up.) Also, I obviously still had the leaky roof so I tried a couple of other roofing companies in Irving and they both gave the same diagnosis. We paid one of the companies less than half of what Top Roofing originally charged us and, after a few intense Texas thunder storms, I can confidently say that the other company was able to solve the problem--no more leaks! Unfortunately, Top Roofing has been an exemplary case of incompetence and dishonesty.
