I can not say enough about this school! My little one started there when he was 2 years old. He was…read morein Ms. Kristine's class and loved her. He ended up having very severe asthma and needed treatments multiple times a day. Unfortunately it was not possible for me to quit my job and stay with him. The owners, Hollie and Jason (who, in my opinion, always seem to go above and beyond to make the children and families feel comfortable), had every teacher in the ENTIRE school learn about his type of atypical asthma and how to properly administer his medication throughout the day. They never acted like my daily call to check in on him was a problem or an inconvenience. My boys are now 8 and attend camp at primrose for the last year (they're ready for a big kid camp next year). They have a great time. The teachers are fun and treat them well (my children love their main teacher Ms. Tori). I never worry about my boys when they are there. I know they are being very well cared for. How huge is that for a parent?! Ms. Kristine is now the Parent Relations Director and you couldn't ask for a better person to interact with the parents. She is funny, friendly, competent and knows your child and his/her own unique personality. People have told me that they did not take their children to Primrose because they thought it was too expensive. It does cost a little more than other daycares in the area but it is much more than a daycare. It IS worth every dime you spend. As I read through my gushing review just now I want to make it clear that I have no affliation to Primrose or the employees there other than my children attend the school. Another words, Im not getting compensated in any way to leave this 5 star review. ;) I'm just a parent that wanted to leave an honest recommendation because I know how hard it is to find a reputable place to take care of your children when you can't. I highly recommend it... obviously. ;)

My children have been in daycare most of their lives. We spent three years at one school and three…read moreat another. We only changed because our old daycare couldn't accommodate new school hours. BCLC was a disaster from the start. My older child recognized one woman from his school and expressed his dislike for her. He's always cheerful and likes pretty much everyone, but was frustrated because he had not liked her as a substitute. I could soon see why. She always seemed frantic and hectic with a frenzied voice. It was easy to see she was impatient and stressed--not good characteristics for being around children. No wonder my extroverted child had noticed something wrong. My introverted child who doesn't like crowds hated the school from the start, and I couldn't figure out why, but I was soon getting calls from the frantic/stressed woman several days a week because she couldn't deal with him. Apparently, her high strung behavior was not a good match. I'd never gotten a call from a daycare to pick up my child before, but suddenly she was throwing fits several times a week. The tone of voice in the voice mails she left was hysterical. My child reported to me that when she got frustrated, she grabbed and pinched his arms really hard and that it hurt. I took photos of the red marks around his wrist. She can't contain herself and can't keep herself from arguing with a six year old who is small for his age...which is NOT okay in a business where one works with kids. Even when she wasn't fighting with my child, every time I saw her or had to interact with her, it was obvious she was rushed and not handling stress well. I am very concerned about a daycare where the frantic/stressed adult fights and argues and cannot be patient with children. The adult should be in charge, and clearly this woman was not. The woman we met when we first started was only there a brief time before suddenly I heard a different director name. I have no idea what is going on there, but they have management issues, and apparently hired a frantic person who didn't work out as a substitute teacher elsewhere. I need to be able to go to work--not take daily calls from a teacher who can't deal with small children. We hadn't had problems with childcare before, and I suspect we won't again. The frantic woman needs to see a therapist to help her de-stress.

Beavercreek Christian Learning Center (BCLC) located in the Beavercreek Church of the Nazarene is a wonderful, well-kept school located in Beavercreek, Ohio, redundant, no? Both my daughters attended preschool here and I fervently wished I kept my eldest daughter in BCLC for Kindergarten instead of letting her go to public school in the Mad River School District. 1) BCLC teachers are well-educated and have their degrees or are working towards higher degrees. Many teachers have been established for many, many years. 2) The facilities are clean, peanut-free, and video-monitored. 3) Impressive organization of facility, activities, etc; no confusion. Newsletters are distributed monthly. 4) There is curriculum! Many children are reading (it seemed like all the students in my eldest daughter's class read) by the time kindergarten rolls around. 5) In-house field "trips" for preschoolers; actual field trips for kindergarteners. 6) Parent involvement encouraged. 7) Chapel on Wednesday mornings; really enjoyed by kids. 8) Christmas Bell performance given by kids is enjoyed by parents and kids alike! 9) Tuition is comparable to all other great schools, lunch is included; preschool time from 8:30-12:30. Extended before and after care provided. 10) VERY IMPORTANT: Never closes unless Wright Patterson Air Force Base closes or for a religious holiday. In this area, all other schools close all the time. Take this into account if you work; especially on supposed "snow days."

We have been at Creative World of Montessori since 2019 (my child's preschool, kindergarten, first,…read moreand second grade). We loved the school and felt our child was in a supportive, nurturing, yet balanced environment. Then this current school year came. Our child's lead teacher abruptly quit. We still haven't been notified by the administration as to why this change, only complaints from the current teacher and no answers from the principal when I talked on the phone and email and in person to both the teacher and principal. We only left these conversations feeling more confused (no answers or solutions, only projection and gaslighting). My child's classroom has not been a pleasant one and we have been unable to effectively communicate or resolve issues with the current teacher.  Then, the principal quit. We have made the difficult yet necessary decison to take our child out of this school mid-year. I do not recommend this school for your child. Too many secrets and not enough clear communication. When there is not clear and transparent communication, push back when I ask questions about my child's learning, and an obvious disconnect from teachers and administration, I do NOT trust the people who are in charge of my child's safety and learning for an entire day. We hate this school so much we are willing to leave money on the table for the sake of our family's mental well-being. We are so disappointed in you, CWCC inc. They tried to nickel and dime me when taking the kids out. In addition, the cost is very expensive. While at first thought it was great, there's low level of continuation. While picking up kids no one really talks to you. Often they couldn't absent any questions I may have about the child's notes etc. having to bring their food everyday was also difficult but what was frustrating is that they throw away thing the child didn't eat. Even if it was unopened and non perishable. For example a granola bar or chips. That gets very expensive. I understand a half eaten yogurt. But hard to know what exactly to put in a lunch when you know things will just be thrown away because that's their rules. So overall DO NOT recommend this facility. Was not impressed.

So '18/'19 school year I enrolled my sons in 4th and 7th grade at Immaculate Conception school. I…read morewent there as a child. I was belated to have my children going to a private Catholic school. Benonced to my knowledge the nightmare we would endure. My 7th grader was physically touched by a junior high teacher, Mrs. Snur. My son called me after school and asked me to come to the school immediately. When I arrived the principal and several junior high kids were all standing around outside. I was told the teacher grabbed my son up by his book bag and violently shook him. I talked with the principal, Mr. Stringer and told him I didn't want the teacher around my son again and it was unacceptable, at which he agreed!!!!! The incident happened on a Friday and by Sunday night I was mortified somehow this had been changed around to my son's fault. A week after the incident I returned my son to school and he was treated like he had done something wrong. The stress from the experience made my son suicidal. The principal informed me because of my sons unstable mental well being they needed documents for him to come back to school. Prior to the incident my son had never had a psychiatrist. I had no way to produce the paper he was requiring. Finally, I got him into counseling and got the documents. At this point Mr. Stringer was threatening me with truancy (knowing the anguish my son and our family was going through at the hands of this private Catholic school). Then he said I didn't get the correct documentation. In between all of this my 4th grader became problematic at I.C.S. (before the incident with my other son had never had a problem at school). Mr Stringer tried to brush this under the rug as if it never happened. The reason I'm writing this is if just one person listens and doesn't have to go through what we did at the hands of this school, I made a difference. My poor son is still suffering behind actions of this school that says it prides itself on being God like if this isn't further from the truth. We can't count our blessings enough we are away from Immaculate Conception. I just hope one day my son will heal from this experience
