The perfect place for kids birthday parties!! Very easy to work with and a lot of fun for everyone!! Highly recommended!!

Enjoyed the birthday party celebration. The location was nostalgic and fun place...highly recommend.

This is a great space to rent out for a couple hours to throw a party! Although it says "kids' activities" on the home page, we rented the space for the hubby's bday party. (We even heard someone was doing a wedding reception which is the best idea everrrrrr.) Reservation: reserving the place was not complicated. They take reservations for rental online, so pick your date and time. You make a deposit on the website. It's about $550 for 2 hours and $450 for the next 2 hours. The booking is for 50 people (and additional persons are extra). Communication: for the most part, before the event, we couldn't reach the venue by phone. But when we contacted them on the "contact" page of their website, they responded super quickly. We were able to talk about the additional amenities (they have extras like taco guy, popcorn machine, etc.). We prefer email anyways. Lol! Venue: it's a 2 story arcade. The top floor has several arcade machines (like 4?) and a couple of console gaming stations. You can also broadcast tv up there too. No food or drinks upstairs. The first floor is the main area where they have a couple of tables and benches. We were able to use the raised bar space to put our water, sodas, and adult beverages. (I think people asked if alcohol was sold here and the answer is no, but it's also bring your own food/drinks, so bringing your own alcohol as long as the staff doesn't serve it is fine!) They also bring out a side table w a black table cloth for our desserts. The bottom area has 3 pinball machines, a super fine Jurassic Park game, and several arcades. 1 bathroom. 1 storage space w large fridges to put away things or keep your stuff (drinks, cakes, etc) cold. We booked from 7-11pm. They opened the space for us at 6pm so we could set up. They put up a Happy Birthday balloon sign and a sandwich board saying HBD, let us pick our music for the evening... and then let us do whatever we wanted to decorate and get food ready. Super chill environment! We also hired our own taco guy and it was pretty awesome to grab tacos outside (there's a little sidewalk nook area perfect for grilling tacos), and then eat them indoors and play games. Super convenient location and there's ample free parking in the parking lot of this little strip mall area, as well as free street parking. read more

such a cute venue for my sons bday party. The kids had a great time. The owner was very helpful during the party and did a great job with the decor. Everything was very clean as well ! I love that they allow outside vendors to come in as well. read more

I recently did my son's birthday party here and it was awesome! I would highly recommend this place. It's literally great for all ages, even for older kids! Very clean and professional. We love love love the Arcave Room. I was able to host my sons 8 and 9 birthday here and no regrets at all. My son is already planning his tenth birthday there lol. Unlimited games, and awesome hosts . As soon as you walk in the worker immediately begins helping you with whatever you need . Literally everything . She helped me stuff my goody bags and set up the tables . Last year was a different person and she was also super great . This year we booked four hours and did not want to leave when our time was coming to an end so we asked to buy an extra hour and they accepted with no hesitation at all. We had a total of 54 guests and the space was perfect. Not crowded at all. Thank you Arcave Room for the awesome memories. read more

Had sooo much fun throwing my nieces 10th birthday party here!! We reserved it for 10 people and it was perfect! Dina, the owner, is super nice and was very helpful. All the games were fun! We had food delivered via door dash and we took our own drinks. We also decorated ourselves which took a little longer than I hoped for so if you could, just buy the decoration package from Arcave room. The games are for both adults and kids! My niece was soooo happy and kept telling everyone she had a private party just for her which was true haha I will definitely be having more parties here!! read more

Perfect Couples Wedding Shower Venue! Needed a non-traditional, fun, private place that would keep millennials, kids and "more mature" adults entertained. Arcave Room to the rescue. Communicating with Dina was easy... she was very responsive, flexible and accommodating. I arrived an hour before the event with a van load of decorations. Dina and her manager, Matt, helped with the set up. Ample party support, clean & spacious restroom, 3 freezers to use, visually appealing, and parking was sufficient. Thank you! read more

Attended a bday party here, their AC "broke" and all the manager/owner could say was "Is out of my hands". I would recommend renting this place for any event, your guest will not be thrilled. Besides the AC issue, place is kind of small, about 2-4 games on each side of the wall and 4 screens at the second floor (unbearable because of the heat). Check your contract if you plan something here. read more

This review is long overdue! We LOVE this location for our children's birthday parties (boys AND girls). We have hosted here as well as been as here as guests. It is a unique and creative space that has a list of very many reliable and delicious vendors. It makes hosting a bday incredibly seamless, and I can actually enjoy my child's birthday. More importantly, this is a family owned business with a creative mom at the helm. She uses this as one of her creative outlets and takes great pride in her work. We can't wait to be back again for more events! read more

This place is really good for private events. I like the privacy of it and it makes you feel comfortable. I was there for a friends sons party and it was good set up and space.the parking is good since it's a small plaza. Enough arcades to keep kids busy of course. For the older crowd some games will take down memory lane. I didn't get pics which I should've. They have an upstairs with a giant tv. I would definitely go back if another event came up. read more

Just hosted my son's 4th birthday and was the best experience! The staff was amazing they! They helped with balloons and setup and just made our party the best event ever! The venue was responsive and I had a response to every call and email within minutes! From the oldest to the youngest of part guests everyone had a blast! I would use this venue again in a heartbeat! read more

Absolutely LOVED this place! Dina and her staff provided best in class customer service from the reservation/booking process throughout the clean up and beyond for my son's party. In addition to the amazing and courteous service, the game selection was great and the nostalgia that we the parents got to enjoy was an added bonus (Street Fighter!!!) - everyone had a good time. His 6th birthday party was the talk of his class - highly recommend!!! read more

Can't wait to throw my 80s prom birthday here! They have everything I need to have a great party...Dina was so friendly and answered all my questions. So accommodating too! read more

Nostalgia the moment I entered. They have all the games that you can think of, including the classics like MsPacman, Galaxy, and Street Fighter. I felt like a kid all over again. It's really a great place to have private parties. read more

This is a brief review as I was only a guest at a birthday party for my son's first grader classmate. My son and I were both very satisfied with the experience at this facility. The restrooms are very clean and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and attentive (we pointed out some technical issues with one of the games). I was amazed with the variety of modern and classic arcade games that this place stocked. Games ranged from hundreds of classic games on the NES console like Double Dragon, Super Mario Brothers to modern ultra-realistic shooter games like Jurassic Park. My son had his first experience with pinball machines, which he positively loved. read more

We had such a great experience at the Arcave Room. First of all, such a different and unique place. It's truly not only fun for the kids, but let me tell you, the parents will have just as fun lol Dina was a true gem and brought my daughter's Wednesday Addams birthday to life! Her mouth dropped to the floor! The girls helping out during our party were so sweet and so attentive. As soon as I walked in, they asked what I needed helped with. If you're looking for a fun, different, cool, and great service place, this is it! Take a look at their Instagram and see all the fun parties they had and how many celebrities are a fan of the place as well. read more

I was really pleased with this place! It was clean and organized. The shop is two stories of fun. There is a big restroom downstairs. The bar is really cool in design. The staff is helpful. Unfortunately - we were informed the projector broke upstairs and we couldn't use it. The kids had a blast. read more

We celebrated our son's 10th bday party here and it was a hit! All our guests were raving about how cool the venue was. Dina, the owner, went above and beyond making sure our party was amazing and care-free. Her team (Kaitlyn: pre-book tour guide; Hannah: day-of party coordinator and event host) is accommodating, friendly and super helpful. The venue's flexibility with letting us bring in our own food and entertainment vendors was a huge factor in having us decide to have it here. They accommodated all our vendors seamlessly. We had a taco team, a dragons breath vendor, boba vendor airbrush vendor and a magician! Arcave room was super accommodating to all our vendors needs. Our guests loved the nostalgic aspect to the space and theme. And the kiddos enjoyed ALL the games it had to offer. I highly recommend this party venue! read more

The business owner has her stuff down!! Looking to make your party an unforgettable one?!? This is the place to do it. If I could rate more than 5 stars I would!!! Don't go anywhere else if you want your kid's year to be made! read more

We had my son's 10th bday at the Arcave Room and it was a huge hit! We were able to go right after school and the kids went straight to all the games. The staff (McLean/Maclean? and Matthew) were very helpful in getting the games set up and helping us set up for the party. They also did all the clean up. They were super helpful, polite, and friendly. The space was very clean and it was nice to be able to drop some things off the day before so that we didn't have to worry about rushing everything in on the day of. I'm so glad we came here and we're hoping to go back in the future to hang out there again sometime. Some of the adults had a lot of fun with the pinball games, Street Fighter and Puzzle Fighter! I also love that the space is contained for the party so it was easy to keep an eye on the kids. read more

Arcave Room has a lot of promising features. They have a nicely laid out array of classic arcade games on both the upper and the lower levels of the arcade. Coupled with the excellent 8 bit design aesthetic, one definitely can have an excellent time if they need to kill an hour. There are a couple suggestions I have and are meant to be constructive in their issuance. 1. Correct the pricing model. $10 for one hour is a bit steep to be playing games that cost around $5 to continuously play for an hour. This doesn't factor in the time it takes to switch games on the software running the game ROMS and does not account for the technical hang ups of not having all Xboxes signed in and synced with the same games. Since this is a destination for games, a third and fourth demographic should be assessed and pricing for a more broad consumer base should be set. 2. Get PlayStation. Better players, better console and everything except Halo is there. A fact I can live with. Make the upstairs a more competitive space and this is a winner. read more

When it's too hot or too rainy to go outside and play with the kids, find a fun, affordable way to pass some time together. We have six little children and came here as a family. Although there isn't much food available and the arcade options could be a little more varied, Arcave Room is a nice choice if all you're after is something entertaining and well-kept. Wear white or neon colors to maximize the sense of humor since it glows in the dark. Up until then! read more

5 stars not enough for this amazing spot! The customer service was amazing and we felt like kids inside this playground for kids and big kids! A lot of color, very detail oriented and felt like coming back to childhood! Magical place for any event, would highly recommend for anyone planning a party for kids! read more

This place is awesome! It's new so everything is all shine and nice. On the first floor: There's three pinball machines. A Jurassic park video game and three more video game machines. Tables to sit at. You can play $10 for an hour or $25 for the whole day. Upstairs there's one large screen video game. And four other video games with over hundreds of games loaded on it. There's couches and one large connect four game. We came when there wasn't too many ppl so it was great. I think there may need to be more connect four game or board games. The decor is so cute! Owners are super nice! I'd definitely come back! read more

I was there, as a guest, celebrating a birthday last weekend. Not a fun experience due to the AC. I understand things happen and they didn't mean for the AC to stop working on a really hot day ...but I do think they should've been prepared for that type of situation. I recently had my sons 10th here because well... he's a 10 year old boy who LOVES gaming. We checked the place out and loved it. Our host Kaitlin was AWESOME!! She needs a raise! I'm not just saying they because she was so great at my party I'm saying that because was positive and a problem solver she also kept all the other employees on task. The venue is great! Upstairs has gaming consoles such as Xbox. But also individual games such as you'd find at a Dave and busters. They offer themes and I got the fortnite package and it all came together amazingly. Here's where the problem comes in. I went into the business and booked my party face to face. I paid my deposit and received and emailed receipt. Two weeks before my party I receive a generic text from The owner saying something to the effect of we would love to host you party along with the price list. I immediately found this alarming and contacted her, where she told me she had no knowledge of my scheduled booking although I sent her a screen shot of receipt but she assured me the time I wanted was still available and all would not be lost. I show up an hour before my party which she said was perfectly fine to find frantic employees because the venue was DOUBLE BOOKED! I Stood and watched Kaitlin call the owner repeatedly in panic and to no avail the owner did not offer must assistance. We were only charged half of the venue fee which was compensation but it was the principle of the matter. That you didn't have my reservation to begin with you then told me the time was still available then you double book. We are human we make mistakes but that a lot of mistakes with little assistance to aide the situation. Kaitlin and I worked together and the party went off without a hitch! I was pretty disappointed in the professionalism of Dina the owner. I received a text at the end of my 3 and a half hour party with her apologies which had little value because..... the party was over. It would have been more appreciated if she would have shown up and given the apology in person and not leaving this kids who couldn't be any older than 19/20 to handle such a chaotic matter, especially because the second party were demanding and rude to the staff threatening not to pay just giving these kids an unnecessarily hard time. I believe if someone of authority such as the owner was there to defuse the situation things might have gone smoother. Again I say, Kaitlin killed it. That young lady has great qualities that will take her far. I wish her much success as well as ALL the other kids there. Thank you !! read more

This place brought me back to one of my first loves, video games! There's a lot of neon and cool decor here too! The arcade games were filled with hundreds of games like classic street fighter to games I never knew existed! They have large screens to play on. One can definitely get lost here and just game out. Fun place! read more

I don't know where to begin. I was a little scared booking my sons birthday because I've never heard of this place before and none of my friends or family has been here before. But I trusted their IG pictures along with Yelp Reviews and let me tell you..... best decision ever! My guests and I had such an amazing time. It's a cozy and safe place for any party! There is a counter top that's nice and long for buffet style food. They have a fridge you can store extra food in. There is a cooler for you to use for your drinks! There were a good amount of games for all the kids and adults to enjoy. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. A lot of other places charge sooooo much money for half the price and half the time. I booked my sons party for 4 hrs and it was a good amount to help clean up the place! It's a safe environment with a lot of parking in the shopping center. Starbucks is down the streets and Amicis is across the street. Definitely will recommend for other to book here at this place! read more

It's Arcave's first day of business and I'm speechless at the amount of detail here. This place is definitely a much needed gem in La Crescenta! My kids are trilled! Finally a fun hangout for kids AND adults read more

I am so amazed with Arcave Room! The entire concept is so great and I love the fact that it's family owned. As soon as I walked in, my jaw literally dropped to the floor.
