First time playing foot golf! I had a great experience and it was so much fun! I give this place 5-stars for even having this sport. The worker explained all the rules for us and the course (18-holes) is pretty easy to follow. It took me and three other people about 2 hours to finish the course. I only wish that the prices would be more reasonable. $15 per person for 18-holes and an additional $5 to rent a soccer ball. It was a good first time experience, although I am discouraged to come back only because of the price. I recommend having some sort of loyalty card/program where if you come a certain amount of times, you get a lower rate. Or a punch card where you pay a lower rate and get it punched for each visit so each visit is $10-12. read more

In no way am I an avid golfer, nor do I know much about the sport. In fact I have no feelings toward Golf. That being said, I found Par 3 to be one of the most unique and interesting places in Arcadia. The driveway leading into the parking lot is a bit tight, but the actual parking lot is huge. The Rio Hondo Bike path runs parallel to the parking lot, so before or after you can take a stroll and even though a lot of homeless people live near the lake, the walk is nice and offers a spectacular sunset view. Back to the golf course. If you go with a group of three or more people it isn't expensive at all. The view from the range is also spectacular. Again, I haven't been to many golf courses, but you can order pitchers of beer at this one. All around a fun time. read more

You can't ever go wrong with a Groupon deal and "An 18-Hole Round of Golf For Two, with Two Draft Beers, and Two Sleeves of Nike Golf Balls" for $22 is no exception. My boyfriend and I went golfing here and found it to be a fun little course for the price. There is plentiful parking and a nice driving range and putting green. We didn't utilize them because we use our first 9 holes as practice lol. Booking our tee time was very simple, no hassle. The staff is good about keeping up with tee times. We were given our sleeves of balls when we checked in, which could come in handy if you happen to lose your ball. Be prepared for a brisk walk through the course and watch out for those pesky footgolf players. Ugh, the only thing that would make life worse is if they added a disc golf course to regular golf courses! Whatever, I digress. My one real complaint about Arcadia Golf Course is their "tee boxes". They should have the option to tee off of the grass and not only off the mats. Other than that, the fairways and greens are in decent condition. Would be better if players follow golf etiquette and repaired divots and respected pace of play. Visiting the in laws out in Arcadia and decided to stop by to hit a few balls. I was vaping at the range like any golfer does at any driving range and/or while playing on any field. One of the workers comes out and said "you have to take that to the smoking area" and pointed me to the area. Dude... come on people at the driving range and golf course expects smoker to be there especially cigar smokers. I'm just saying people that play, that actually plays are expecting other people to smoke and drink on the field. I come here 3-4 nights a week. At 8pm they have $8 for 18 holes, I usually get 15 or 16 holes in. Kyle is great he remembers my name every night he's here the lights go off around 9:45 9:50 which is great so it's worth the money. The cat who worked tonight and has worked nights before turns the lights off just before 9:30, no warning when you're paying. Love the course for some quick practice but sucks when u don't get that extra 15 minutes thats 2-3 more holes. Can't really complain but customer service wise the lights should be on till 9:40 or warm the customers! Overall good little pitch and putt course. read more

Very friendly staff. Brian (an employee at the pro shop) was very helpful and helped me set up a tee time on a busy weekend when my online booking didn't go through for some reason. Great place to play and practice short game. Dont like the soccer golf aspect. If these soccer golf players are going to come to a GOLF course they should learn golf ettiquite. If your group is slow in getting from hole to hole let GOLFERS go ahead of you. I guess they dont understand that i have to wait for you to clear the greens before i can tee off. Which is normal on any GOLF course. But here is the thing that gets me. After i tee off they start with their kick off or whatever its called. That way they can speed the game up a little. Great 18 hole par-3 course for those beginning to pick up the game. The putting green and the driving range are nice and rarely gets overcrowded. The clubhouse is very small with a small shop and kitchen. The course itself is not too bad. Each tee has a mat to tee off of. Other than the 3rd hole, almost all of the holes on the course are around 90-120 yards, so unless you are going to hit up the anything lower than a 5 iron will not be needed. The best thing about this course is that they have lights which allow for night time golfing. Although the place closes at 10 PM., they turn off the lights at around 9:30-9:45. This is my go-to course to play when I need to refine my short iron game and to come back after a long layoff from the game. read more

It's a good, well-kept range and course. Various maintenance drives unexpectedly shut down the course on frustratingly short notice, and the early hours often translate into opening at 615 or later. It's hard to find good help these days, but overall a good spot. read more

This is where I started the game of golf. A game that I used to despise. It looks so boring, there's no action where as basketball you can pop a shot and bam!!! It's In Yo Face!!! The course is super tight, it's a par 3 so it's sort of expected. This is a beginner course so you'll find hacks, and dads who want their kids to be the next Tiger Wood, or Michelle Wie walking theme around. Golf ball may look harmless but when it's 400 yards up in the air, you can really injured yourself. And yes, if it hits you in the head you can die. So I wouldn't recommend parents taking their kids out on this course. It's super tight and with bunch of beginner swinging away like it's a baseball practice, it's not surprising to see balls flying into your area. It's a lot more quite during the day on weekdays. So if you have to take out your kids do it that time it's safer. It's like miniature golf course for adults so you can expect lots of yelling, "whooo yeah!!!" Yessss!!!!" "Wooooooooo!!!!!" "Suck on these ****!!!!" type of deal. Lots of blue collar who can't be without their beer walking around drinking, and a few times I smelled Kush. Yeah fine you want to relax with beer but please throw them in the trash don't leave them lying on the green. So you've been warned don't take it seriously when golfing here people here are loud and without golf etiquette, putting it lightly There's this one Hispanic dude that works there. This is like a walking distance place for me. Staffs here are super nice and attentive. It was me and the girlfriend's first time here and the staff had asked if it was our first time so that he could provide is the right kind of club. We spotted about 16-18 spaces for people to practice swinging their golf balls and a small putter as you enter the place. $7 for a bucket of 65 balls $10 for a bucket of 105 balls $3 for a rental club $2 tees rentals Note: If you have your own club, bring it! The have soccer golf at this golf course!! It can get weird when people are kicking a ball while you are golfing. We almost got hit by a golf ball when we were on the next hole. However, this is a inexpensive gold course. Great for beginners/intermediate players. There is plenty of parking. They have a small little office with a snack area and bathrooms. The dark skinned guy who manages the course is an asshole. He came over and hassled me to leave even though I was only there for 40 minutes and people that were there before me were still standing there playing. He did not approach them and instead rudely demanded for me to finish so that the next person could take my stall. He stated I was using my phone when in fact, I was just listening to music while playing. Regardless, I was still below the 1 hour maximum limit. He told me if I didn't like it then I should leave. I signed up to be a member here since it is nearby to home and I could enjoy my time here. As a member, I do not believe we should be talked to or treated this way. The owner of the golf course should educate their employees on improving their customer service as this seems to be a major issue at this location (see other reviews for reference.) read more

Took a class here with my bestie and we used to come to practice on the range a lot after work or on the weekends. I'm not going to pretend that I'm a golf pro, far from actually, but I would shoot somewhere between 90-100 the handful of times we went on the 18 hold par3 with some friends. It's a quick, fun and fast course, great for beginners or experienced golfers to brush up their skills. Only thing is that the place is HARD to find...especially at night. One would not have suspected there exist a range tucked in the middle of the street. Entrance is super discrete and the sign is not big so I suggest to drive slowly or rely on your GPS. This review is specifically for the driving range, now the golf course. Quick comment from someone I met on the range should sum up the current situation at Arcadia. He said "the guy in the pro shop tried to sell me their monthly membership and I told him 'what's the point of having all that range balls if I can't get a spot to hit?'". Arcadia range is part of the Player Club net work now. They have a $40/month membership where you will receive 2 large buckets of ball everyday, plus others benefits like free beginner group lessons, discount green fee, etc. It's definitely a great deal for someone who practices a lot. However, if you can only go at night, the range is often full and you'll need to wait for an open spot. Range balls used to be always clean and looked close to new. Now they are beat up, scuffed, and dirty. Just too many miles from all the members. You can hit off grass on Wednesday, but if you go there after ~4PM, the grass is pretty much hacked up. read more

Well maintained greens and lots of shade. With shade comes trees, and with trees comes obstacles... dont worry... it makes the game more interesting. Fees are a little pricey and this Par 3 doesn't provide much opportunity to use a driver, but it is great for working on your short game. I love the fact that I have a golf course in my backyard. Not literally, but with about a 5 minute walk I can hit the range or tee off on a solid Par-3 course. I can't complain. The staff is plenty friendly and the driving range is quite nice. Plenty of spaces open for you to make a complete fool of yourself while you warm up for tee time (ha). They stop teeing off at 7pm and stop selling range balls at 9pm (which I found out recently as I never usually go that late). They have a small pro shop and you can drink on the course - but don't abuse it. There is a "FootGolf" thing going on here, but I don't think it will be lasting long...at least I hope not, the place doesn't need more riffraff hanging around those parts...stick to golf, please. Other than that, fun course, inexpensive green fee (I think we got a twilight discount because it was $13) and a bucket of range balls is $10. I think. This is a nice 18-hole par 3 course that serves as my base for improving my game. Come here mainly for the driving range and putting green but will get on the course once in awhile. The driving range itself is nice and well lit at night. Usually it's not too busy but it can get packed during the summer when all the parents are out with their Tiger Woods- or Michelle Wie-hopeful kids. Poor kids. Anyway, a large bucket of balls will run you $10. The range has well marked flags to aim at and isn't unpleasant looking like Asuza Greens or uneven like Rancho Duarte ranges. This is a matted driving range but once in awhile, they'll open up to hit off the grass. The putting green is simple and mostly flat. They recently added in these mini holes you can putt into which is fun to really work on your precision. The course itself is unspectacular but is nicely maintained and a great place to work on your short iron game. Again, you'll be hitting of mats here but it's understandable with the hacks that you'll see out on the course. The course is lit at night too so you don't have to rush off if you get caught in a slow round or a late start. read more

Came here SuperBowl Sunday morning. Got here around 9:15AM and started playing at 10Am. Not too bad a wait, considering it was very crowded. There were quite a few foursomes ahead of my buddy and I. We were told that we would be paired up with another two and that was that. Luckily, both our pairs were easy going types. We had a good time, played with strangers, and as the day went along we ended cheering for each others' good shots. $15 for the full 18 Par 3 course. Right in the range I would expect to pay for Par 3 courses. The staff is helpful and patient. Our group didn't hear our names called, though. So, I think we were skipped at least once. They have a beverages cart that is driven by a pleasant lady who seems to come around 3-4 times in the course of an 18 hole game. Pretty good, I'd say. The following pertain to my experience, THAT day. Greens: FAST. Hole Location: Towards the edges of the greens. Fairways: More like just short rough. Tee Distances: The shortest - 90 yards (Approx.) The longest - 153 yards Driving Range has a decent amount of tees, as well. The best range IMHO is here. They have actual green, well kept grass in their range. Plenty of flags, berms, and yard markers. Last thing, golf carts. I don't use 'em. But, I understand if you need to. They do have golf carts here. $9 - $12 to rent, depending if it's for single or twosome. Almost forgot, there is a fair sized practice putting green on the walk towards the clubhouse. NO PITCHING! There is also a designated pitching area. I haven't used this yet. But, I think I remember the sign saying it was $7 to use...call them and clarify. Poorest run golf course I've ever been to. It's a shame because this Par 3 course itself is pretty good, minus the shop staff. I've gone to this course several times in the past few months and each time the shop staff is horrible. The cart situation is a joke and they don't tell you on their site that they do not reserve carts even if you have a tee time reserved. The carts are supposedly first come first serve... but somehow they don't seem to follow their own rules. The last time I visited, I showed up 1 hour early to try and ensure I get a cart. I walked up to pay and their were no carts. So I paid and as soon as I was walking to my car, I seen two carts coming back from hole 18. I got back in line with only 1 guy in front of me. The 2 guys in front of him were just done paying and walking out the exit, when they also saw the carts coming. They came back through the exit and asked for the carts that were pulling up and the girl said sure. Despite their being people in line and those had already finished their transaction and walked out. The guy in front of me was just doing the range. So I'm next and the other worker is like oh you want one cart right, he said don't worry I got you. Then starts talking to his coworker and confusingly said did you just sell those two carts? She said yeah and then he turned to me and said oh yeah my bad my coworker just sold those two carts. Now the line of guys behind me is also upset hearing the news. So now I had to leave the line since their were no carts and they supposedly don't sell them ahead of availability. I walk out and tell my golf partner that we didn't get a cart and we prepare to walk. By this time it's now 5 minutes until my tee time and there are two parties of 4 waiting at the first hole. By the time we were able to tee off, it was 30 min past our tee time. My golf partner sees more carts coming and gets back up the shop to get one. Turns out the shop girl sold three carts already without them being available and had given them keys. All they had to do is wait for them to come back. My golf partner was obviously pist because they told me and us they didn't do that. Then my golf partner complained about our tee time being way past and they said his system was broken so that's why there was a delay. However every single time I've gone, they somehow have groups waiting to tee off during my tee time. Absolutely frustrating as all hell. The whole cart nonsense has had me upset every single time I've gone. Please get rid of all the dumb staff at the shop... they clearly do not understand how tee times and playing the game works. They also do not have a moderator who is checking the rate of play. Somehow I seem to get stuck behind a group of dudes who can't play and need 20 min or more for a par 3 at every hole. read more

Course was in good shape but since new owners took over it sucks, lights off early 1st hole wasn't even lit. Lights turned off on us on the 16th at 9:30 guy said it's to hurry up pace (supposed to turn off at 10) then when we were at 17 at 9:40 all lights shut off not cool and kid working was a dueche won't be back didn't pay $16 for night golf to have such a crappy experience.
