Was it delicious? Yes. Was it overpriced? Also yes. I do recommend giving this place a try, but be warned it's not exactly affordable. The food was good. I appreciate the bacon was crispy as I requested. The potatoes look better than they taste. They appear to be well seasoned, but they lack a bit of flavor. Even just salt would have helped. I loved that it had roasted garlic too. Hard to describe how something that looks so well seasoned tastes a bit bland. The steak was good. Nice and tender. We ordered medium and got medium rare. It wasn't the end of the told. But the real star of the show was the sauce! It was *chefs kiss* We ordered drinks too but I forgot to take a photo. Just know if you order for there, you'll get your drinks in a glass cup. For 9/10 people that's not an issue. The thing is, I'm a bariatric patient so I can't mix my liquids and solids. So I just had to request mine in a to go cup. I still do recommend giving it a try. But bring your wallet. It was $70+ for two plates, two drinks, and tip.
First impression, super cute environment. Setup was great, separation from coffee counter and restaurant. Host staff were friendly and inviting. On a busy Sunday, we were sat in less the 10 minutes. Server was prompt, got our drinks and another was by shortly after to put our food order in. I tried the chai latte and French toast. Firs look, chai latte had cinnamon crumbles and it didn't appear to be on purpose. The drink itself was very subtle and tasted more like warm milk rather than chai tea. The French toast tasted way better than it looked, lemon ricotta was for sure the star. Bf had a cold brew and the breakfast sandwich. He said the coffee was eh but that the sandwich had finesse. He said the eggs were fluffy, bacon crispy and muffin was great. Overall, I'm not sure it'll make it into our rotation but if you're in the area it may hit the spot for you.
What a vibe in here. Spacious, running AC, and rustling and bustling. This place has such an open and inviting aura. I would love to study here. The drink mango sticky matcha was not too sweet which was good for me.
Great café and brunch spot in Riverside. We were on our way to Phoenix and stopped here for brunch. Excellent coffee and great food menu! This was such a great stop that hopefully I'll have a reason to go back at some point.
This is a solid, upscale coffee shop in Downtown Riverside. I've been to their other locations as well, but mostly visit Bakehouse and Downtown. As far as options go, I think there's a decent selection of more unique syrups for coffees. They do change it up throughout the year. The drinks here are definitely more of a premium price point, but I think they're generally good. On this particular trip, I wanted to try their new syrup flavor (it was some form of orange zest, or something similar?), but noticed my latte had no real flavor in it after a few sips. Upon looking at the receipt, the person who took my order just gave me a regular cafe latte and didn't add the syrup I requested. The coffee was fine, but I would have liked trying something new. I have gotten several of their food options before, and I think that some of them are well-priced for the portion and some can be more on the expensive side. I think the avocado toast was pretty robust and was a good value. The steak and eggs are somewhat hit or miss, and I have had it multiple times. The cut of the meat can be chewy at times, and then also more lean and tender other times. Sometimes it comes with large pieces of chewy fat, which isn't quite to my taste. The sandwich options generally are a good value. I do kind of wish they switched up their menu a bit more often, since this current menu is rather basic and they have had more interesting food options before. Overall, a decent choice for a more premium coffee, tea, and food for the Downtown/UCR area of Riverside. Service is okay, and I have had somewhat mixed experiences with that. The employees generally seem pleasant and they're nice, but I have gotten incorrect orders at least a couple of times. During this particular visit, in which the photos are from, I had to ask two different people to get extra napkins. Our actual server was the first to acknowledge, then possibly forgot and didn't come back.
If you like to play the games of caffeine then this is a coffee lovers dream. Dine in service and a chill playlist? Now that's what I mean. After having their coffee I was lit like a bullet and in charge like Steve McQueen. Located inside the downtown area this is one of those gems you can't afford to pass up if you're on a coffee hunt. I ordered an espresso shot to start off with and it definitely got me a little lit. My second drink was the cortado and it was a hit. My third drink was their Draft Latte and half way through I had to quit. I took the rest home because I was in the zone and who knew where I would roam. Overall I have to admit that their coffee is legit. The service is really good and the atmosphere is chili and eye pleasing. This is one of those shops you can actually loose yourself and time and that is totally fine. And that's my take on it, Peace.
The ambiance is very chic, relaxed, and contemporary. The service is friendly and fast, and the food is both tasty and healthy. The coffee has a great flavor, I ordered a latte, and it was really good! Overall, a wonderful place to enjoy a delicious meal and great coffee in a beautiful atmosphere. Highly recommended!
Fast service, and the food was good. It was a little more expensive than I expected, but it came out fast and tasted fresh. I felt the sandwich needed a little more sauce or salt, but it was still good. The drink was different not bad or good, just different. I'm not sure if I would order it again.
I've been here several times in the past and stopped in for a quick bite and some coffee. I had the egg scramble with bacon and potatoes. My son killed the potatoes, but I enjoyed my cup of coffee with eggs and bacon. I had their salsa, which was surprisingly flavorful at a coffee spot. Service was quick and polite. The decor in this place is modern vintage. Calm lighting with plants tucked away here and there. Love the vibe.
My husband and I were looking for a coffee shop that has in house made syrups for lattes and found this place. I recognized the name since I've gone to their other location in orange crest (Riverside). Service was excellent and we decided to dine in and order breakfast as well as hot lattes. For breakfast we ordered: the Turkish eggs and the soft scrambled toast, both were filling and tasted great! For the hot lattes we ordered: the honey lavender and vanilla, both were absolutely delicious! We enjoyed our breakfast and lattes! Definitely worth coming back!
What a lovely coffee shop! The line was out the door and place was bustling with business. L We were greeted by the hostess, who asked if we'd like to dine in. There was also a separate line for coffee to go orders. It took about 10 minutes for us to be seated. We ordered a Honey cinnamon latte and a draft latte. The draft latte was the right amount of sweetness. The honey cinnamon latte was also just right. Our food came out: we had ordered the huevos rancheros, the French toast, and the Yukon potato wedges. The huevos rancheros had a decent amount of food with a sunny side egg on top. The French toast was unique: it was made with persimmon butter, topped with matcha rice crisps. After our meal, the server let us move to the bar area so we can do some computer work. They didn't allow us to sit in the dining area to just work. We sat there until closing. It was a bit noisy but closer to closing, it was as quiet. There were outlets for our computers and free WiFi upon asking. Overall, it was a nice, social coffee bar with minimalistic decor. The coffee was good and the food was wonderful. The servers were bubbly and friendly. Absolutely a recommendation from us!
Sorry but overhyped. Also they gave this to me, said it was my party melt, and I said "are you sure?" "Yep!" Either the waiter didn't know what a patty melt looks like, or this was the weirdest, driest patty melt either (who adds lettuce and bacon?) even as a sandwich, it was pretty dry and unflavored.
10/10 jury duty detour. Imagine landing jury duty...and somehow scoring the PERFECT parking spot. Now imagine being excused after 30 minutes for THREE WHOLE HOURS...on a rainy day. There was absolutely no way I was giving up that parking spot...that's how I found myself walking to Arcade Downtown. Let me start here: I got aggressively caffeinated. Also had one of the best breakfast sandwiches-so good I ate before I taking a picture. Service was solid. This spot is perfect for sitting, thinking, reading and processing the fact civic duty comes around once a year. Thank goodness Arcade Downtown is a quick stroll away. I was hyped by the time I got back to the courtroom that I was almost disappointed they dismissed us same day. Low-key, I was looking forward to reclaiming that corner seat by the food counter. Great coffee/food/service. I'll def be back on non-civic-duty days.

I've been searching for the perfect coffee shop and thanks to a followed tiktok account that raved about the place, my wife and I ventured in. First off, before I review the food and coffee, let me just say that the service here is PHENOMENAL. We were greeted by staff who was genuinely welcoming and excited to walk us through the menu. She was so excited to talk to us about the various dishes and made us feel so at home. Now on to the food: can a coffee shop earn Michelin stars? I ordered the pork belly and grits. 10/10 highly recommend. Wifey had the French toast (amazing honeycomb crumble, yum). My maple latte was warming, sweet, and perfect for a cool morning. We shared the avocado toast. Now here is where I have to pause. Avocado toast is one of those dishes that is pretty trendy, and while avocados are good, I don't see how most can rave about avocado toast and something phenomenal...but reality check; this version of avocado toast is NEXT LEVEL. You really just need to try it to understand. Fast forward to my next visit. Greeted by the same staff at the front (I've learned her name is Stephanie) and she was just as welcoming as before (and actually remembered us). Met Shane as well as he walked around checking on guests...super friendly, great conversation, and excited to talk about their brand new dinner menu (wifey and I need to take a date night). I can see how this place is going to be super successful downtown with such amazing staff dedicated to the true customer experience. Amazing and worth every one of the 5 stars I've given. read more

Cute cafe style restaurant that had delicious homemade food. Bread was excellent. Love the avocado toast and all the baked goods. My sons steak and eggs were cooked to perfection. The coffee was strong and the staff was so attentive and nice, what more could you ask for?! We will definitely be back when we are in the area again. Highly recommend read more

I love Arcade Downtown for a fun casual but still delicious brunch! They have a great selection of menu items ranging from savory steak and eggs to french toast and everything in between! Their coffee is always spectacular with freshly roasted beans and a changing monthly syrup. Highly recommend! read more

I paid $36 for my brunch (corn bread crab Benedict and cold brew) with tip. That's almost $40 for a very mediocre meal and drink- no thank you. My cornbread was extremely burnt on the bottom. This isn't the first time I've gotten something burnt either- the last time my avocado toast was also very burnt on the bottom. If something is burned, you should throw it away and not serve it to your guests, especially if you're charging that much for it. read more

I'm so surprised this place doesn't have more reviews because it's such a gem. It really looks like your classic hipster style coffee shop but don't let the outside fool you because it could rival some high end bistros any day. This place does brunch and coffee as well as a selection of pastries for the to go crowd. I highly recommend the brunch menu while small packs a punch and the drinks are superior coffee blends. Finding a place that can do food and coffee equally well can be challenging but this place can do both. The food is served so beautifully and you can see that high end plating even in how they place the compote on to my French toast to the way they carefully drizzle maple syrup around the plate. They take their food seriously here and I was so impressed. I can see all the details that went into our food. Even our drinks were top notch. My draft latte was so good and sweet but not overpowering. My partner said the chai tea was perfect. How this place isn't bustling everyday is insane because it's really well done brunch. I expect that this place will only get busier as time goes on and more people catch on. I will say that it's small menu does mean if you have children or littles with you they may not find what works for them or the picky eater in your group might struggle. They also have a small cocktail menu that looks amazing with curated drinks that would pair well with any brunch item. I will definitely return back and while not the cheapest brunch it's actually very well priced for the style they are serving because something like this would cost double in LA or the OC area. Stop by you won't regret it and parking isn't to bad they have some street parking close by and a parking garage right next door. read more

This is my favorite coffee spot in Riverside. The coffee is the best hands down in my opinion. True coffee lovers will not be disappointed. The lunch/breakfast menu is unique and delicious. Veggie sandwich is amazing, the pork belly is surprisingly fresh and clean, the French toast is really sweet and flavorful. The vibes here are really great to work in groups or on your own. I come in with my computer and don't feel like it's too quite or too loud, it feels really clean and the lighting is great compared to other coffee shops that just feel dark and lonely. read more

This is such a cute coffee shop/restaurant. I wanted to take my parents somewhere new but cute and this fit the bill. It's a great place for brunch or a place to get some work done. Heard great reviews about this place, order a not a avocado toast and when I opened the box my toast was burnt. Not an issue paying $12 bucks for an avocado toast a little issue when it's burnt. Not worth the hype. read more

The location and design of this space are great for the aesthetic-seeking customer. However, the food was not it. Both food items were burnt. It seems they are still figuring out the kitchen part of the establishment. We had to look at a menu at the door and rushed to pick up our food items before being seated. You must also pay at the door and tip before enjoying your food. We were asked to sit at the high bar table by the window when four other tables were not being used (three of which sat two people each). I was told tables were for larger parties. This was a bit annoying as I prefer to use a table rather than a narrow bar table next to someone sipping coffee and working on their laptop. The flavor combination of the French toast was superb, but the bread itself was inedible as it was very burnt. The cornbread Benedict was very dry and very burnt. The bottom was a thick crust of charred bread. This was also served at warm/ almost room temperature. I spent about $55 on the items pictured. I was less than impressed. Maybe Sundays aren't a good day. Plenty of staff, yet our table was never frequented to see if we needed anything else. Bad vibes, figure out the burning of food situation and keep working on it; I have high hopes for you! Overall I recommend the coffee and pastries on the bar side. Probably not a good place for a meal. read more

Came on a Tuesday morning around 11. It is located in downtown riverside. Parking will probably be easiest parking in a nearby structure which usually have 2 hours free parking. When you arrive you order your coffee and food and take a seat. I had the eggnog cappuccino which was served very fast and tasty. The food on the other hand took awhile to be served which was a little disappointing. However both the veggie and pork belly sandwich were good. I would definitely come back for the pork belly sandwich and coffee. The interior of this coffee shop is very modern with lots of greenery. There were also a lot table and seating available so this is a good place to hang out and study. read more

Cute place downtown. Service was attentive and casual. The presentation is nice but flavor was lacking. The burnt toast didn't do it for me. The steak n eggs were fine but pricey ($25). Shrimp and grits with broccolini were good ( but not on the diet). Ambiance is noisy cafe style. The drinks looked like they would be good but we didn't try any. Overall it is a nice upscale cafe but nothing I would come back to try again. read more

Arcade very recently started offering dinner service on the weekends. I've got to say, as a very active local, this is by far the best dinner in Riverside. The service was impeccable and the food quality was supreme. Definitely go here soon, and definitely order one of the steaks. This is a great example neo-fine dining. read more

Hey! We take both reservations and walk-ins!
Where is the best place to park, closest to here?
There is a parking structure across the courtyard (adjacent to Fire up grill) and free 1 hour parking along the street (four spots and one handicap I believe).
