After a diligent online search we found a company called Forever Studios with excellent reviews on Yelp and Google. We called them directly to obtain information on their product, process and pricing. The customer service was helpful and we brought our twenty VHS and CAM video tapes to their Boca Raton office the next day. The business was located right off Clint Moore Rd in a warehouse business complex with plenty of up front parking. There were customers inside the small showroom but only waited about five minutes and met with the sales person, Gaby. She easily explained the process to transfer my twenty videos to a USB which would permit me with versatile use of my old family videos. The only upsell was the basic Standard definition to High definition. Also, there was a four to six week time frame for a finished product or pay an extra $75.00 for an "Order Rush" for a guarantee completion within seven days, both were worth the price. They also offer custom framing for acrylic and canvas photos. Gaby took us on a tour of their production room where an entire wall of active VHS machines were in the process of transferring memories and other videos to USB. Loved the old film projectors in the back of the store, which brought back memories of the old days. Basically, it was a big room of video nostalgia. The finished product was ready to pick up in four days and paid $370.00 for 20 videos including the upgrades. We brought home the USB popped it into our computer and watched our 20 - 30 year old family videos for several hours. The definition was exactly what was expected and easily transferred the videos to our desktop and drop box and transferred them to other family members. Highly recommend this business and will be back soon to transfer more.

I like that it is local, so I can drop my tapes off and not worry about them getting lost in the mail. I spoke to William on the phone, and he was very helpful. So we're the rest of the employees. They do a lot of other things as well. I highly recommend Forever Studios.

While their service was fairly fast for sending the finished product from Florida to California, I was disappointed to find that they hadn't copied the entire tape (which I later had redone somewhere else), and my chosen title "I Love The 90s (And My Poodle Perm)" came back as "I Love 90s (And My Podle Perm)." 6th grade English fail. I found this business online, while searching for someone to scan some old photo negatives onto disks, so I could have them put on canvas. I only had 6 negatives that I needed to have done. We finally found the little shop and then weren't sure, because the name above was different. There are two related businesses under the same roof, making it somewhat confusing if you're driving around, trying to find it. I thought this was going to be a fast process, not more than a few days at most. No such luck. The standard turn-around here was 2 weeks. That was an issue, since I had to have them off to the canvas company in 16 days, and I don't like to do things at the last minute, in case there are any problems. Since there were only 6, they said they would do them faster and not charge me the customary rush fee. I thought this was a very nice offer, and left quite happy. 10 days later, I hadn't heard anything, so I called. They had just finished them. So, I went and picked up the disk and the negatives. First glitch - they had not written down which of the several dozen pics that I wanted, so they did them all. That was okay. Although, when I looked at the disk, I wasn't altogether happy with the quality of the scan. In fact, there was a good size white spot on one of the photos that wasn't there on the original. I went to look at the negative to see if I could find anything on it. Uh-oh! That whole strip of negatives had not been returned. Not good. I called them and almost never got anyone to answer the phone. The guy told me I could call them back on Mon. (this was late Fri.) and they would redo the scan. That wouldn't work, I had to submit them on Sun. So he told me to call the next morning at 9:00. When I did, there was no one there, but they did show up about 30 min. later. It took them quite a while to find the missing negatives, which had been put in the bin of another customer! I got the new scan in my email, very late on Sat. afternoon. The color still wasn't right. I called them immediately, but no one answered. So, I was stuck, I had to send it in. I also had to pay the canvas company an additional fee to clean up the scan. They eventually offered to refund that fee to me. I called them on Monday to see if they could at least return my missing negatives by mail, so we wouldn't have to make the 30 min. trek back up to Boca to pick them up. They said they should be there the next day, maybe two. About 6 days later, I called them back. They told me they would check the tracking. "Hmm...it's not moving." I was told. So she said that I should receive them the next day. Nope. Called back again. She told me that the tracking said that they were due for delivery the next morning and she would send me the tracking info. I never got it. I had the feeling I knew why. I finally did get them the next day. I checked the date that they had been sent, and found that it was the day before. So, the two times she told me that they were on their way and she was checking the tracking, the negatives were still in the studio. I understand glitches, we all have them, one or maybe even two. But telling me you've shipped something you haven't is over the line for me. I'll be needing more scans, but I won't be going back.

Aside from being the friendliest and most responsive of the several firms I found online, his prices were extremely competitive. They also seem to have an endless supply of connections for what may be required, such as when, after almost a year in, it was decided to produce a new edition of the movie with two booklets enclosed in the DVD case, Green Solutions had the cost-effective solution. They also came through with flying colors for a specialty cap that is Made in the USA. For another client, where I needed proper formatting for both a print book and an eBook, Green Solutions had the right answer, and great prices for printing the book in both hardcover and trade paperback editions. After working together for three years, I can also say that Andrew and the company are among the most honest and service-oriented businesses I have ever come across in my lengthy time in the workforce. They are customer- and solution-minded. I do not hesitate to recommend them.
