Office Depot had a competitive, although not the very best, price. They were conveniently located, so I went to the store. I noticed that the price at the store was almost 12% higher than Office Depot's online price. When I asked the cashier why, he shrugged his shoulders and mumbled: "More overhead?" He then looked up the online price and sold me the ink at that price. I would have rated this experience as 1-star because it seems that Office Depot is penalizing local shoppers but since the cashier ultimately did the right thing in honoring the web price, I'm bestowing a second star on the rating. Attention Office Depot: This is not the way to run a business if you want loyal customers!

It's very easy to upload your documents through their email system, receive a retrieval code, and print your items at the self-service machines. You can choose between color or black and white depending on what you need. Staff has always been helpful whenever I've had questions or needed assistance. They even have a large-format printer capable of producing posters, blueprints, and architectural or construction documents, which is especially helpful for specialized projects. There are also computers, document scanners, and fax machines available for customer use, along with document shredding services. They offer free Wi-Fi and passport photo services as well.

Apparently I've been renaming my files in the past, but not that particular time! For a $3 or so fee on top of printing costs, she printed out the documents herself from behind the counter. I purchased a stamp and asked her to mail an envelope containing an invoice. The transaction went smoothly. About 15 minutes after leaving, she courteously called to inform me that I had left a copy of the invoice behind. I appreciated the call and asked if she could place the invoice in my mailbox for pickup the following Saturday, as I regularly check my mail then. She agreed, and we ended the conversation. The issue arose when I later followed up with the vendor to confirm payment. Unfortunately, I was informed that they had not received the invoice, which led to the cancellation of my account. Concerned, I contacted the location last Saturday to speak directly with the staff member who assisted me. I understand Saturdays can be busy, and the team may have been overwhelmed; however, I was very disappointed by the hostile and dismissive tone I received during the call. When I inquired about whether the envelope was mailed and if my invoice had been placed in the mailbox as requested, the employee responded angrily and could not provide a clear answer. Her tone indicated frustration, and when I asked to speak with a manager, she abruptly stated the manager was unavailable until Monday through Friday--then hung up on me. This occurred around 2:45 PM, even though the store remains open until 3:00 PM. The purpose of this message is to formally raise this concern in the hope that it will be addressed appropriately.
