The food was great, but you'd think at noon on Saturday beside the turnpike there would be more than one register open. Shenanigans.

It always takes way too long to get your food at the drive up window. Then when I got home, found out the order was messed up. Grrr

My recent visit to Wendy's late at night left much to be desired. After ordering a simple chicken sandwich, I was instructed to pull up and wait for what was promised to be a brief 7 minutes. Little did I know, those 7 minutes would stretch into an excruciatingly long 37-minute wait. To their credit, the staff did attempt to compensate for the extended delay by offering me a complimentary large fries. However, no amount of fries could make up for the frustration of waiting nearly 40 minutes for a single sandwich. It's clear that Wendy's needs to improve their efficiency and preparation, ensuring that such lengthy delays are not a common occurrence. While the gesture of offering fries was appreciated, it's ultimately the timely service and quality of food that matter most. Hopefully, steps will be taken to prevent similar incidents from happening in the future.

I have become too dependent on it over the last year, as I think most of us have. It is convenient and all, but my waist line is telling a very different story here. I pulled up, was greeted by the employee manning the drive thru. I asked for a second to go over the menu so I knew what I wanted and would be car friendly for the drive home. I finally make a decision and order. Pull around, pay, and just wait for my food to be prepared. I have to say, even with the uptick of people using the drive thru, they are truly on top of the game. Very fast, had my order in under ten minutes, and the best part about it all, it was all correct, not a single mistake made. I am a huge fan of Wendy's All Natural Lemonade, could drink that by the gallon. Everything was hot and fresh, including the fries. I basically ate the whole meal while I was driving home. Hand food is sometimes the best food.

So, to see a restaurant still bearing his name was a surprised, especially since Roy was never known for food. Overall, however, I was rather delighted with it a fast food restaurant. My service was good and though it would seem their main offering is a roast beef sandwich. However, as I had one of their "Spicy Chicken" sandwiches at Pennsylvania's Blue Ridge Mountain Rest Stop and found it to be totally good, I order one here too. Advertised as a marinated, fried, all-white-meat chicken breast with Monterey Jack cheese and spicy "boom boom" sauce on a Kaiser roll it was really good and precisely the same as the one I previously had.

The cook served it. The staff packaged it in the container and bagged it And nobody thought it was unacceptable to do so. I tried calling the phone number because I thought these is this way to rectify. This was to have them cancel my purchase since I had just left. It would've been easy for the manager to just cancel the purchase and credit back my card. I called at least eight times letting it ring multiple times and nobody ever answered clearly they don't answer the phones there the next day at home I sent an email in and I am currently waiting for a response. I cannot in good conscience. Recommend eating at this location as I do not personally feel like the food is edible.

All I can tell you that this is brand new and it seems be a popular spot now that it is here. I pulled in and had to pull into a spot to take an order to take home. Once I got that all in order I ended up pulling around to the drive thru. Placed my order and pulled around. I was able to catch a mistake before my order was complete. They had the drink order messed up and attempted to give me the drink order for the vehicle behind me. Plus it was kind of hard to drive with three drinks in a drink carrier. I couldn't even get the drinks out of the carrier because they were stuck into two carriers. I had to pull over once I got out of the drive thru so I could handle the drink situation. The food was pretty basic. At least everything I ordered was in the bag. Not necessarily put together with the greatest of care. But it was all there at least.

However we ordered three crunchy tacos add black beans. They made three tacos with black beans instead of meat. And we ordered three orders of nachos w cheese. When I called the store to tell them what happened the manager said I could come back and get new items. But we were tired and had been outside all day - we didn't want to go back.

Great pit stop at Somerset when driving on the turnpike!…read more Ever feel like you are stuck eating Roy Rogers or Auntie Anne's when on the turnpike... don't be afraid to jump off at an exit and grab something better! Right off the Somerset exit, this Chipotle is a little oasis for the wary traveler. Well maintained and clearly newer establishment, this Chipotle is awesome. We walked in and were greeted by the employees and... even better... there was no wait at all. All of the toppings and selections were well stocked and looked perfectly fresh. I've actually never seen orange peppers in the fajita veggies... I hope this is a new trend for Chipotle... something sweeter than the bitter green peppers. They gave us extra meat for free and were very friendly in accommodating exactly what we requested. We've been kinda writing off Chipotles recently, but if all franchises had the quality of food like here... they'd be top of the list again. The high ceilings and large windows make this place feel more elegant than just your every day Chipotle. Nice decor too! OHHHHH... and this Chipotle has a DRIVE THRU!! They have a completely separate setup of ingredients for the drive thru worker to make meals as you order too. HOW COOL!! I'll keep this store in mind from now on when traveling across PA

Cumberland Fail…read more (I'm being nice) We were in the restaurant from just before 6:00 PM until 6:45 PM, waiting to get through the line. A 45-minute wait should never happen at a restaurant designed around speed and consistency. During that time, the drive-thru line wrapped around the building and advanced perhaps three cars total. Inside, the operation felt completely unmanaged. One employee on the assembly line appeared visibly irritated -- not just with customers, but with his own coworkers. In the back, two employees were dancing (the blonde one we originally thought might be the manager) to "Royals" by Lorde while making chips and rice, which might be fine in another context, but not while customers and delivery drivers are waiting indefinitely. The employee cooking the meat looked utterly disengaged, and there was no visible management presence or sense of urgency anywhere. Employees seemed to be taking breaks at random while the line barely moved. The restaurant itself was disorganized and messy, reinforcing the sense that no one was in charge. Perhaps most concerning: Three DoorDash drivers were stuck waiting for an extended period. As someone who has done delivery work, I know firsthand how delays like this directly reduce their earnings. Poor in-store management doesn't just inconvenience customers -- it actively costs other workers money. The only redeeming factors were that the food was reasonably good, and one employee a sweetheart with straight dark hair and glasses took initiative and began moving the line along. Her effort made it clear that this situation was fixable and simply wasn't being managed. This location is a case study in how a straightforward, assembly-line concept can break down entirely without leadership. A 45-minute wait during peak dinner hours is not a demand problem -- it's an execution problem.
