Every once in a while I like to stop by Arby's to see if they improve their food, I remember when Arby's was top notch, of course that's 50 years ago. Stopped by today, glad to see the potato cakes are back, tried their chicken slider, which was horrible, even the potato cakes were bad, about ten minutes later I threw it all up. I had some coupons and was just up the road at the sheriff's office dropping off a cellphone and driver's license I found, so I was thinking Arby's. I had read many requests to bring the potato wedges back, so I got them for my side now that they're back. They were delish. I also had a turkey sandwich that was delicious. I did lemonade, some sweet tea, and ice water for my beverages. It's getting hot out here!!! The restaurant is very new and clean in 2025. Service was friendly and super efficient. To top it all off I had a jamocha shake and when she offered it topped with whipped cream you best believe I was on board. Ring the bell. This was fabulous. UNHYGIENIC I rated this star 2 because the employees were nice enough but claimed their hands were tied because they said the manager approved it. A man and woman had a Chihuahua ON THE SEAT in a booth. They were feeding it and had a bowl of water on the seat. The dog walked around on the seat when the owner went to get something. Service dogs are allowed in a restaurant, but they are supposed to be on the floor under or near the seats. When I went to the counter to say something the employee said his hand were tied because the manager approved it. Also my sandwich was wrong but I didn't feel like making them correct it. read more

An unexpected find I stopped in for lunch today, planning on getting a couple Beef n Cheddar sandwiches and some curly fries. In the center of their overhead menu was a photo of a burger called a Wagyu Steakhouse Burger. That definitely got my attention. I ordered the one listed as Bacon Ranch. My burger was really very good, the beef patty itself brought flavor to the sandwich, as well as a good American cheese, good bacon, etc. I had a single patty, based on something my order taker said I think you can also get a double patty burger. That, plus a small order of Curly Fries, was an excellent lunch, be it different than a stack of sliced roast beef with cheese and Arby sauce squirting out the sides that I initially intended. Wagyu beef? Really? Once home I did a few searches, and learned yes, it was a blend of American Wagyu and ground beef with Wagyu being just over half. I also learned this is Arby's first burger and it was just made available for a limited time yesterday. It was an unexpected find, and a very good one. The cheese is always generous and the Arby sauce has the balance to enrich the sandwich. The curly fries might be popular but my favorite continues to be the onion rings. Just skip it! I'm serious. There are so many other better places to eat in Sarasota. Tonight, we tried to order the 2 for $7 fish sandwiches with the girl with fake eye lashes and nice nails, and were told they could NOT be made without the processed cheese. Are you kidding me?? After questioning the logic of it two times, someone who was acting as a junior manager was listening in and said and I quote, "if they're going to be like that, just give it to them." Again, I'm asking "are you kidding me?" If you think the customer is also right, just visit this Arby's location, and you will change your mind, since they've never heard of it. Overall, it's Arby's and the food is marginal on a good day so we shouldn't be surprised. Earlier, I tried to call to see if they still had the 4 for $10 roast beef sandwich special and nobody answered the phone after I let it ring at least 50 times. Apparently, they can't be bothered, so neither can we. Honestly, I don't know how this location stays in business, since this is not our first bad experience at this location. In the future, we've decided to go to Culver's and pay a little higher price for much better food (e.g. chicken and fish sandwiches) and certainly better customer service! I so badly want to love this Arby's. The food is okay, but often not hot or fresh. Fries are hit and miss, so are the mozzarella sticks. The service is so slow. The person inside at the cash register seems to never know what they're doing. Their drink machine is perpetually nasty, sometimes little gnats flying about it. Their drive thru gets very backed up and it's impossible to get into the parking lot even. I work directly across the street from this place and almost never go because every time I break down and get food here I am disappointed. read more

They have 3 people working and a line at the drive thru out to the road. NO SIGNAGE POSTED ANYWHERE. Due to staffing shortages, indoor dining was not allowed when we recently stopped here for lunch. Neither would the staff allow customers inside to use the rest room. Our meals were high priced, skimpy and mediocre, regardless. We certainly won't bother stopping here again. read more

I waited 10 minutes for my food because they were short staffed. The workers remained professional and calm which was impressive since there were 11 people ahead of me waiting for food. The beef and cheddar was very good. They were so busy, they didn't have time to replenish paper towels in Ladies' room or wipe down the tables. But I understand, it happens. read more

Very nice staff here. I went at 10pm and it took a little longer than i would have liked to order (waited 5 minutes for the person to take my order). I did really appreciate that when i pulled up to the window the guy checked my order and made sure everything was in there and he asked me what sauces at the window so that i for sure got the sauces because most places don't care and will forget. Half of my order i could tell was fresh but the tenders and fries were luke warm and crunchy so they were a little older. The taste was great tho and nothing was missing from my order! read more

I know it's everywhere but this is ridiculous. Same old excuse. They don't have enough staff. They close at five. So people that leave work at five cannot take home dinner from Arby's because they close early or lack of staff. I just don't understand how other fast food places are still open late and they don't. I have lived in Sarasota for 13 years and never went to Arby's. I assumed it was just burgers! I was told by a friend they make a good salad so we tried it. Wow! The turkey salad is awesome, always fresh sliced Turkey breast, fresh salad and great dressing, the Honey Mustard is addictive. They have a young friendly staff, the location is easy to get to, its clean and welcoming. I eat a salad 2 times a week from here, the ham sliders are nice, great value, they come out warm. Most inconsistent Arby's ever! RB sandwich was cut extra thick and was layered onto the bread. Always a hit or miss. People need to be trained - and when you ask for Arby sauce and Horsey sauce and only receive extra Arby sauce - not great to discover the missing Horsey sauce when you already get home from the drive thru. read more

Everything people say about it being short staffed is true. I waited in a line that was out the door a little after 1:00pm and there was only one poor kid at the register trying to deal with the stress. He also was on condimints duty had to stop taking orders while he tried to hurry to fill the napkins and straws. Dont support this place until the managers figure out how to manage. We placed an order on 10/24 for a brisket sandwich and deep fried Turkey sandwich with the sauce on the side. We got home and looked at our order and the Turkey sandwich had the sauce on it we requested on the side. We called back to explain our order was incorrect once we got home. The team member we spoke to apologized and advised us to come back and get our order corrected. We were already back home so we said we would stop by tomorrow. We came back yesterday and talked to Anthony who was very professional, helpful, and amazing. He called the manager, Crystal Napier, up to explain the matter and her attitude was very rude, condescending, and simply mean. She made us feel as if it was our fault and as if we had made the order wrong. She made an already bad experience worse and have us never wanting to eat at another Arbys. The food was great! My husband had the turkey gobble . Very very good.. The most enjoyable part was the pleasant attitude of the cashier! She greeted everyone with a smile & a friendly hello!!! So rare today!! No matter how busy it got she maintained her welcoming attitude! We were there Sunday 12/16 about 1pm!! Give yourself a pat on the shoulder , you deserve it!!
