Today on my drive from Canfield to the east side of Cleveland, I was a drive thru customer at this…read moreDQ. I already think DQ is slept on by most folks. Among restaurants which are not primarily burger restaurants, DQ's burgers and fries are some of the best. I got a #1 (bacon double cheese) with a Coke Zero and fries, and I wanted to leave a review because the food was even better than usual. The fries were P E R F E C T - super hot and fresh. The last ones were still piping hot, and for once I had the self-discipline not to scarf them down quickly. I took my time because they were so good. The burger was great too. Juicy beef, melty cheese, fresh veggies, and the condiments were enough but not oozing out everywhere. I definitely did not go back through the line a second time to get myself a medium vanilla cone to enjoy on the rest of the drive. The exterior of the restaurant and the parking lot were clean. Both of the employees I spoke to were very friendly and provided excellent customer service. I highly recommend this location.

The blizzards were good, a bit melted than expected so they didn't turn upside down but it is overall okay. I suggest to try the new peanut butter cookies dough it was delicious.

You know how it can be hard sometimes to review a chain restaurant? Like, you go to one location,…read moreyou've been to them all, right? Okay, obviously, that's never really the case. Experiences differ from town to town, state to state, etc. Cracker Barrel is usually pretty standard, though. You know what you're typically getting, whether it's the food, the service, or the gift shop up front. Not so, here. Instead, what we ran into was one of the best darn Cracker Barrel's we've ever visited! And honestly? I think it was the staff that made the difference. Our server was FANTASTIC! I wish I noted her name, as I'd love to let her manager know how amazing she was. To start, she was so pleasant and friendly to us, despite the number of tables she was working at the time. The place was nearly packed, though we did not have to wait for a table for three. We were never missing refills (she was proactive on that front), and she kept checking up on us throughout our meal (but not too much!). The kitchen staff know what they are doing too! You have an expectation with the food here, but they absolutely crushed it! The pancakes had a perfect crispy edge, but a soft pillowy interior. They were clearly freshly made, as they were still quite hot to the touch when they arrived on the table! Everything else was cooked to order (eggs, specifically), hot food was hot, cold food was cold, etc. Usually you can find one or two things that aren't quite up to par, but that wasn't the case. Okay okay okay, I found the one thing I can complain about: the sweet tea wasn't disturbingly sweet like a good Southern-style swee'tea! There. I found something to complain about. Yeah, I'm kidding, but it was literally one of those experiences where you don't even feel like you're in a chain joint anymore. Everything just hit right, the service was stellar, and the overall experience was memorable for all the right reasons. That kind of a deal will make you want to buy some snacks in the store on the way out, not gonna lie! Whatever you're going here, CB, keep it up. Please. It really was perfect from start to finish!

It was a good choice as we had a very attentive experienced waitress who has been with CB 3 or 4 years. We both ordered the old timers with a side of hash brown caserole. Everything was delicious. And I love CBs new rewards program.
