Whoever owns this place can have a gold mine if they can get decent people, clean the place up just a little bit and maybe present the food with a little more flare or something. We recently eat at Arby's, because my wife craves to their creamy Mediterranean chicken wrap, and for me I ordered Classic roast beef meal. Their food was really spectacular because of the taste it's give you happiness and satisfaction. Taste and presentation wise. I can only hope they will remain juicy and fresh for good, and it will not disappear over time. The service was quick and efficient. Their staff was polite, kind, personable, and very professional and customer oriented. The cleanliness of the store made our lunch wonderful. My wife was satisfied to their cravings. I love the unique variety of fast food sandwiches plus burgers Arby's has. Really wish there were more of them around.

My favorite place to eat. Arby's has a wide selection of sandwiches to choose from. I usually pick up a delicious Jalapeno bacon ranch chicken wrap. It's a wonderful wrap. Everything tastes FRESH - the lettuce, red onion and tomato. Incredibly delicious. And what I loved the most is their Mozzarella sticks dip to the marinara sauce. Staff was Incredibly courteous, polite, efficient and on point to their work. They ensure that you are satisfied to their service and especially to their food. It was quick service. Arby's is my absolute favorite fast food restaurant to go to!! It's so good. There's not one thing I don't like...well actually they had a pumpkin shake one year..that was disgusting. But from the main menu items, I like everything. My favorite though is hands down the gyro with the amazing crunchy, heavenly fries!! Note: if you don't like onions, tell them bc it will be included. No one warns you lol. So this place was great up until maybe last year when it became shit. One time my glorious gyro was well...not so glorious. The bread was hard as a rock. Soooo bad!! Unfortunately, I was already back home in Chicago when I opened it. The next few times I ordered from THIS particular arby's, they had barely put anything in the gyro!!!!! This place is straight up getto as hell! Rude cashiers. Store was freezing. We requested them to bring it up a bit and one of the workers barked at me telling me that they get hot in back. It's November 19, 2008 and this location is back in operation. From a consumer's standpoint, there's not much difference between pre-fire and post-fire. The dining room decor and furniture look exactly the same. The kitchen and menu board appears to be new. The most significant upgrade was to the bathroom. Prior to the fire, there were two tiny, ugly bathrooms with access from outside the building. Now there is one uni-sex bathroom, accessed from inside the building. It's clean and nicely decorated with ceramic tile. There's no electric hand dryer, which is nice. On to the food... I ordered a combo meal--Beef 'n Cheddar, potato cakes and soft drink. The beef is the same 'ol beef dust turned into meat log slices as before. I find the potato cakes with horsey sauce addictive. This location now offers self-service Pepsi fountain drinks. Bottom line... The food is okay. If you're tired of the same fast food, you can throw Arby's into the mix every once in awhile for a change of pace. The staff was friendly--perhaps a bit too friendly. Try it and see what you think for yourself. read more

Every single time when I come here to order and pick up my food, service is ALWAYS slow every single time, even if there were only a couple cars waiting in drive- thru. The wait is always 20 min +. You call this a fast food restaurant? Terrible. I wish there was another closer location nearby. I'll only come here if I'm absolutely craving for it. I don't get the negative reviews. The place is a little run down looking, and they are repaving the parking lot, but the food is great and the service here excellent. When I pulled up to the drive up menu (inside still closed for COVID-19) I was not that familiar with the menu, and the person on the microphone was really patient with me in working out our order. We got two brisket sandwiches, and a club with curly fries and sodas. The sandwiches were all great, the fries great and plentiful, and unlike most fountain drinks, the drink dispensers were clean and the sodas didn't have any off taste like so often happens at fast food places. So I had a craving for Arby's. I wasn't sure what time they close. I checked the website and the app to make sure. So I went to Arby's and they had the open sign on. I got into the drive thru line and they played a message saying they were closed. Note there were 3 cars in line. As I drove out I saw the guy turning off the sign. I very rarely bother to log on and write a review about a chain fast-food joint, but this one deserved to have one written. When I walked in I was immediately struck by the outdated style and furnishings and the first thought through my head was "this place is a dump"... but I have to say that the food was quite good, not any greaser than any other Arby's and service was fast. My main reason for logging on to leave a review about this place is because of the service. Unfortunately I didn't get the guys name, but the man behind the counter today was absolutely fabulous!! It has been a very very long time since I have seen a worker anywhere be so attentive, responsive, outgoing and overall just a friendly person. I had to wait a few minutes for my order to be ready and every interaction he had with people in that time was so very impressive. This is the only Arby's near the north/Northwest side of the city. That being said, the food is typical Arby's and it satisfies a craving I get for something other than burgers or hot dogs. I've read the reviews, and I dispute the statements that the food is greasy and the place is dirty. The employee's may seem loud and obnoxious, but I believe that this is due more to the architecture of the building itself. This Arby's is one of the older style restaurants with the cathedral ceiling that amplifies sound. As far as cleanliness, the place is clean. It looks dirty because the seats and table's are old, worn, and they don't match. Corporate needs to redo the interior. No argument there. read more

I don't expect much in the way of class from an establishment like Arby's, but this particular store falls well below what should be considered the acceptable standard for customer relations. The way my experience was handled the last time I visited this store, I can say with 100% assurance that I will NEVER return. I must urge anyone thinking about patronizing this store to reconsider. If you cannot resist the lure of the only Arby's for miles around, please follow my guide to avoid the same frustration I experienced. ............. If you must buy a meal at this Arby's, it's best to do so from your car as I would not be surprised if every employee at the Dempster location had spent a non-trivial amount of time in jail. While ordering, refrain from making special requests like, "I don't want a drink with my order." Anything that necessitates the employee do a bit of extra button mashing runs the risk of turning her tone from moderately sassy to full-on rude. Next, don't be surprised if the highly-trained worker tries to upsell you a large soft drink, an item you just went through the trouble of telling her you didn't want to buy. Whatever you do, don't correct the employee on her mistake. This will only make her utter the following phrase as you drive up to pay: "So YOU'RE the one who was hollering at me back there?" Finally, just drive away. Do not pay, do not receive Arby's. ............. To be clear, I've been to a lot of drive-thrus. I have NEVER had a grease jockey say anything other than, "that will be (amount)," "thank you," or, "sauce?" let alone something as impudent or vaguely threatening as what was said to me at this Arby's. It is unfathomable to me how any employee would think saying something inflammatory to a customer would be a good idea, yet here we are. I took care of the situation as best I could by calling the manager a few minutes later. My message to him verbatim: "You should tell the woman working the drive-thru that if she is hell-bent on insulting customers, she should at least wait until they pay her first. If they've already paid, they're much less likely to simply drive away." It is embarrassing that a restaurant with a drive-thru menu that was assuredly made in the 1990's needs lessons in food pimping, but I digress. Don't eat at this restaurant. There is a Culver's literally 2 blocks west that has better food, reasonable prices, friendlier employees, and a parking lot that isn't marred with potholes. My wife and I have just returned from lunch and today we ventured over to the Arby's on Dempster where we have eaten on a few occasions. It's really nice to go out for something a little bit different than the typical fast food and Arby's has different in abundance. We both chose the King's Hawaiian® Brown Sugar Bacon BLT meal for $6 and chose the Curly Fries. This is a terrific take on the classic BLT as it's loaded with 6 strips of bacon, 3 of them Brown Sugar variety and 3 of the Peppered Bacon, they use the Freshest of Tomatoes and there is just enough lettuce to round out the sandwich without going overboard. Add to that, they don't go crazy on the mayo but give just enough to really make the sandwich taste fabulous. As for the Curly Fries, this meal came with a small size that was easily the most generous small size we have ever had. In fact, neither of us finished them because it was just too much. We made the mistake of going during the middle of the lunch time rush so the restaurant was pretty busy and therefore very noisy but most of that can be attributed to the high ceilings and reflective surfaces that don't absorb sound. There was a woman who was busy sweeping up the pieces of paper left on the floor by sloppy guests and we were very happy to see this because who likes to sit in a messy restaurant? The furniture is a bit dated and kind of beat up but otherwise the establishment was clean and the staff is about as friendly, I think, as you are likely to find in a fast food environment. We've had the classic Beef & Cheddar, The Reuben, The already mentioned BLT and the Smokehouse Brisket Sandwich over the years and everything has always been really good. When I first tasted Arby's as a high school kid I liked it but thought that it was kind of pricey so my friends and I often visited other restaurants. While we don't go out for fast food as often as when we were kids it's nice to taste something different than the regular fare. I really enjoy this place. read more

Even after I said let's start over..I wanted a Philly combo and my husband wanted 2 classic beef with curly fries. She asked several times so he wants a meal.
