They were similar, so we wished we had ordered a pizza instead. That's our fault! All of the food was good, and we enjoyed our time there. Loved the grits, Mac and cheese is very rich in flavor. Hubby enjoyed a gin and tonic! Great spot!

I came into the store from the hot outside and was a little bit discombobulated. I sat down at the table with my head down for a few seconds, and the owner of the store told me that I could not stay there. He was yelling at me in front of everybody that was in the store at the time, I was so embarrassed I just said sorry and I walked off but the way that he kept going on and on about it I decided that I needed to complain about it. The very next day I got an email from him saying that I was a liar, and I just didn't understand how come he was able to write me from my personal email all of these threats about talking to my manager about what I did and I didn't do anything wrong besides sit in the store. I wasn't even bother enough. There was anything of space in there for other customers to come in. I didn't see there was a problem for me to sit there, especially with it being so hot outside.

We saw a billboard off the highway for this restaurant, so we decided to give it a try. Location is a little unsuspecting because it is dark and next to a dollar tree, but the interior is quite large and well decorated. We were seated right away, and the server gave us chips and salsa immediately. The chips were nice and fresh and warm, and the salsa was fantastic. ServerO is great. He gave us good recommendations and said that everything that has a hat on the menu is usually their most popular. As for the food, we ordered the fajitas mix. I had chicken, beef, and shrimp for two. It is about $27 and came with a lot of food. Definitely not for two, maybe even three. The rice plate came with rice, beans, avocado, as well as two sets of tortillas, which is about three each. It came in a serving plate and was overall pretty good. Would recommend getting again for the amount of food and the taste. We also ordered the torta. Unfortunately, for this one, it wasn't that great. The torta is just a sandwich, pretty much, with whatever kind of meat you have inside and some tomatoes and lettuce. We got the carne asada, but it was super dry and chewy. Would not recommend the carne asada and the torta. This one was about $13, I believe. In total, it was around 55 with tax and tip for a party of 4, so it was actually pretty well priced. We left pretty full, so I would recommend, but wouldn't say it was the best food we have had but good enough for us on the road drive back.

The staff was friendly but would have liked for them to explain about the plastic cup situation instead of me asking if the cups are only plastic and why. The turkey is cut across the grain. As a result it chips which is fantastic because most of the time it sliced like lunch meat. The loaded mashed potatoes are were very good but half way through I was over the flavor. I could have gotten white gravy but opted out. Could have made the flavor balance out more. French fries tasted like fresh cut and the seasoning was fantastic but salty for my taste. The texture was so good tho! Mac and Cheese tasted like a velveeta cheese base. Very southern in elite texture-gooey. The banana pudding did not have bananas but they use banana flavored pudding. I did not miss the bananas with that pudding. Loaded with the right amount of wafers. Hubby said his brisket was a 7. We did not smell smoke or see it coming out of a smoke stack so not sure if it is smoked in house. This spot is very very busy with locals.
