I ended up scrapping that idea when I saw the menu of cheesesteaks that could be made with a GF wrap. It was SO SIMPLE with just steak and my choice of cheese provolone or American. Yes you can add onions and peppers if you'd like but it wasn't automatic which for me is the hugest or the huge pluses. A simple American cheese and steak wrapped up into melty goodness was delicious. I super enjoyed it, came out piping hot. Hubs ordered a canoli which I cannot have but I THINK I can eat the filling so I had one bite and WOW can I just order the filling not the pastry? Sooooooooo yummy. They also brought a pizza out for hubs and told him they overcooked it, asked him if the crust was too done and if so they would make him another. I thought this was amazing service as they took accountability right away. Hubs said it was fine and enjoyed his pizza, may or may not have been even better with a not "as done" crust. I think I will return tomorrow night, my last night in town, for another cheesesteak.

You know a place is good when homemade potato chips are available and I love me some chips. The crab cake sammie was delish. Lightly fried and served on a bun with lettuce and tomato. Tavern had some authentic vibes with a gum ball machine and an old style phone booth. Yes, a phone booth. There was indoor seating and a nice covered patio for outdoor dining. Service was good with a friendly serving staff. Highly recommended a visit Berlin for some excellent eats.

Everything felt just a little past their prime. Service was friendly and inquisitive of this road warrior, and my Roadie Turkey Club Sandwich was quite good and filling. I took half home. Plenty of beer and cocktails about, but as a driver I opted for water with lemon. There aren't many weigh stations along this stretch of 113, so Roadie Joe's certainly serves a purpose and has quick access both north and southbound. Not a bad place to brush off the road dust, stretch the legs, grab a bite and use the plumbing. If you have more time, a cruise into the heart of Berlin is also worth while. 3.5 Road Weary Stars

Kudos to her with drinks and noticing that my service was a bit slow. I ordered an average ale and mango Margarita. Which she made sure that my actual server Katie, was aware of my needs. I love the teamwork so I won't harp on how long it took for me to get my food. Three day cheesesteak with side of chipotle bbq- now I'm a lover of cheesesteaks and Roadie Joe's all the same especially since I lived in Salisbury majority of my stay in the shore. So why not stick with my go to classic?? The presentation? but everything else- Hard pass... the sub was meaty GREAT, but it was chewy and there was only a slight taste of flavor as if it literally 3 days stale I tasted meat and the sauce I put in it that's it. Mango margarita, was flavor, not much of a kick but easy on the palette I hate to do my place like this im going to have to come back and give them a second chance. BUYER BEWARE -- I am extremely disappointed to be writing this because this is now the third time…read morein a year that I have experienced a serious problem after eating food from this restaurant. This most recent experience has been particularly concerning. After eating a shrimp salad from the restaurant, multiple members of our family developed significant gastrointestinal symptoms. My husband had diarrhea for approximately a day and recovered. I became extremely ill with severe, persistent watery diarrhea, stomach cramping, fever/chills, body aches and weakness that have continued for several days and I'm still in bed after four days. My son also developed diarrhea along with significant chills and shaking as well. The shrimp salad was the one food we all had in common. I believe the restaurant needs to take it seriously and investigate its food preparation, handling, refrigeration and sanitation procedures. Three incidents over a year like this is simply too many for me. I sincerely hope management looks into this rather than dismissing it, because no customer should have to wonder whether eating a meal is going to leave their family sick for days.
