I get a bacon cheeseburger with the lettuce, tomato, and red onion. I'm a big fan of the fries there, and sometimes I switch it up and get the Cajun fries too. On top of the excellent burgers, the service is great from a very friendly staff. It's a small local business, and you feel like you're part of the community when you're in there hanging out with them. I love the decorations and the overall visual aesthetic of the place. I no longer live on Long Island, and miss my weekly visits to American Burgers

The staff is very friendly, service is fast and place is very clean. The prices are pretty cheap as well! The only critique I would have is they are CASH ONLY so make sure to goto the ATM beforehand! They do have a ATM there but it will charge you a fee to withdraw. I never carry cash on me so that's the only thing i don't really like, but otherwise it's an amazing burger spot!

Being Korean, marrying dairy with gochujang sounds very strange. I know cheese has been added to spicy rice cakes dish (ddukbokki) to dampen the spice but it seems gochujang is being added to all sorts of food I would never have dreamt of (cookies, pasta and now shakes). Have to say, I don't know if it's because I love shakes (even though I am lactose intolerant), but I really enjoyed it! It's mostly a creamy shake and then a gochujang kick at the end!

This has been a long lost tradition for my friends and I for the last 15 years, so I decided to resurrect it and head on by. It was worth the 15-minute detour before heading home, as their burgers and fries were just as tasty as ever and brought back an awesome sense of nostalgia. All American is quite possibly the best bang for your buck here you can find here on the island. While their prices have gone up slightly over the years, they are still super reasonable. This time around, I even decided to go for a wild card and try their Filet of Fish for my first time ever. It was actually quite flavorful and very filling. Unlike the old days, they are no longer only accept cash, as you can use Apple Pay, credit, or debit. The fact that they accepted Apple Pay was honestly quite a relief as I accidently left my wallet at home before going to the beach!

THIS IS A REVIEW FROM AN UBEREATS ORDER…read more This was my boyfriend and I's first time trying Yoyo chicken after hearing great things and we were really looking forward to it but was horribly disappointed. (TLDR - we both got sick) Placed an uber eats order for tenders & fries and it came fairly quickly so the chicken was still hot & crispy, though the waffle fries we ordered were steamed together so it was kinda soft. The tenders look like they were flattened then fried which I appreciated because that means theres more surface for the seasoning & extra cripsy. However, my bf who ordered the Original said his was bland & tasted plastic-y ( i thought it was ok, underseasoned but not necessarily plastic). My tenders were supposed to be Very Hot but it wasnt particularly spicy and had a slight acidity which makes me wonder if i got the hot lemon pepper instead? There was definitely seasoning though because it was visibly reader & coated in an oil that but it wasnt particularly flavorful. (I recently got Famous Daves and will say its not as flavorful as their Hot). The main issue came after when my bf suddenly felt unwell and said his stomach hurt, we originally figured it wasnt related to yoyo chicken and was a fluke because I felt okay and this was the only meal we shared. However, hours later both my bf and I woke up from stomach pain and were pretty violently ill. (Ill save you guys the details). Unsure what happened because we heard great things (albeit from a different location) but I honestly dont think we will risk trying yoyo chicken again

Yo-Yo Chicken is seriously one of those spots that just gets it. From the moment you walk in, you…read morecan smell how fresh everything is. The chicken was perfectly seasoned, super crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside -- not greasy at all. You can tell they actually care about consistency and quality. I ordered to go, and this is the part that impressed me most: by the time I got home and opened the bag, the food was still hot . Not "kind of warm" hot -- actually hot and fresh like it just came out of the kitchen. That alone says a lot about how they package and time their orders. Portion sizes were solid, flavors were on point, and everything tasted freshly made. This is definitely a go-to spot if you want good chicken without the wait or disappointment. I'll 100% be back and honestly might make this a regular stop. Highly recommend.

This was only my second time trying Raising Cane's. I first heard about it in Florida, but I never…read moreactually saw one until I visited New York. My first visit was to the location on Jamaica Avenue, and that's where I got my first taste of what all the hype was about. I kept wondering, "What's the big deal about chicken fingers?" Well... now I understand! The chicken is crispy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside, and absolutely delicious. It comes with lightly salted crinkle- cut fries, a thick slice of warm Texas toast, and a side of coleslaw. I'm not really a fan of their coleslaw, but it does help balance out the heaviness of the meal. And the sauce that looks like a thousand island is so good!! I paired mine with an Orange Fanta, and they even had the good ice, the soft ice chips that remind me of hospital ice. If you know, you know! Since then, they've opened a location on Merrick Boulevard, and every time I pass by, it's busy. I've never actually dined inside either location, but I do like the design of the restaurants. They have a bright, welcoming look that stands out from the street. The large windows and lighting make the space feel inviting, and the warm glow from inside carries through to the outside. Needless to say, Raising Cane's is now my go to spot on whenever I'm in New York. It's become one of my favorite fast food treats.

I scooped up my party of 3 and headed over. Driving up, I saw a beautiful building that's very attractive to the eyes, I was mesmerized at its structure. They have a small parking lot that offers 2 EV charging stations. That's a bad move in my mind because it's a fast pace environment and cars are in and out within 10 minutes or so why the EV vehicles remain for longer periods of time. On the other side, marketing can see it as giving EV drivers a place to park, charge, and eat. They also have 2 handicap spots They offer a drive through and it's very very busy. Cars never seem to stop coming, while we were on site. Let's talk about the inside! The inside offers a fairly large dining area, while the cashier area offers security and protection for the workers. Unlike other Raising Cane's restaurant. Something to take notice of that. The disco ball vs loud music, a perfect combination! The food: let's just say that this is the start up stage and I'm looking forward to the same and consistency that's provided in other locations. My party of 4 all agreed. Inspire more, Yelp more!
