This is a general comment for all Portland restaurants that serve sandwiches. A French dip, cheese steak, Chicago beef, ANYTHING ON A ROLL, that roll should have a hard crust. 3 stars - about what one might expect at an Arby's. Took the kids for dinner, as they'd never tried Arby's before and I wanted them to experience "we have the meats." I got the beef and cheddar, which tasted just like what I remember growing up. Daughter got the regular roast beef and enjoyed it. Son got the turkey and bacon, which he also enjoyed. I feel sorry for the workers there. The Air-con was broken and it had to be 90degrees inside. The cashier lady there was understandably in a REALLY bad mood, but even so, they should NEVER take it out on the customers, especially when they get the order wrong. The lady in front of me didn't get her whole order (missing some drinks) and mentioned it to the cashier. The cashier just blew up after giving her the missing drinks, and then in a completely rude tone, asked "is there ANYTHING ELSE I can get you MA'AM!?!?" Absolutely nasty. The radio was tuned to some awful program called "The Men's Room" where they spent an entire half hour talking about diarrhea. Not exactly a conducive atmosphere for enjoying a meal. Tried to discuss it with the manager but she said she had no control over the radio and was locked out of it. We visited this Arby's location late last night. The gentleman who helped us was VERY friendly. He made sure to repeat our order back to us after we said it and then triple checked with us at the end. When we got to the window he was just as friendly and energized. He explained it would be a minutes because they were waiting on fresh fries. Sure enough about a minute later we got our food and were on our way. The fries were fresh and hot (he so kindly warned us about that). This guy was great! read more

After a lengthy wait thru drive through, we had ordered 2 medium drinks and 2 classic roast beef sandwiches. We paid $11.00 dollars and odd change. We pulled into a shaded area to add our toppings, I took a big bite... yum, then on my second bite I pull out a 8 inch gray hair! GROSS! My sister refused to eat anymore of her sandwich and she insisted that I pull forward to get a refund. She got out of the car and was greeted and was told that they cannot give her a refund because they were not authorized to but they could however replace our food. By this time we no longer wanted their food that was absolutely disgusting. There appeared to be a woman behind the grill without a net on her hair that had short hair and one long ponytail hanging from the front of it that was gray and that didn't matter to them. Here we have our receipt from purchase five minutes earlier and they could not refund our money. So he left the food there and drove off and hence this review I do not deal with unscrupulous people and with little hygiene it would've been so much easier to drive a half a mile farther and found something with a quality service and management. Rude rude rude! My order was not hard. 2 classic roast beef sandwich's on sesame buns one no red ranch. Both medium with crinkle fries, 1 sprite 1 coke. I had to repeat myself 4 times and then he laughed at me. I get to the window and they ask if I want sauces. I said ketchup and salt. She said huh, i said ketchup and salt. She said we don't have ketchup. I said you don't Have ketchup? She said no. I said ok never mind. I came in at 9 PM (4-12-21) there was only one person in the drive-through we sat and waited for about two minutes before someone finally spoke spoke to us over the intercom in the drive-through. When he did he was very short. No greeting or anything. He said how can I help you. We ordered got to the window did not say hello no customer service just told us our total and I asked him how his day was going and he shut the window on me. And then we received our milkshake after giving him the money and I said thank you very much how was your night going again and he shut the window on me again. Zero customer service whatsoever. They didn't put the Lid on my cup all the way and there's a bump at the end of the drive threw. My drink spilled all over my car.
